There are some problems in the curriculum system of medical education in China, such as paying too much attention to the education of professional knowledge, ignoring the cultivation of humanistic quality, insufficient combination of theory and practice,over-simplification of evaluation and assessment system and so on.Oriented by post competence,Guangzhou Medical University has explored and constructed three systems:humanistic quality training system, practical teaching system, and competency assessment system, aiming to cultivate outstanding medical talents with good medical ethics, superb medical practice skills, and comprehensive literacy.Strengthening the cultivation of innovative thinking and public health prevention concepts is still our direction.
