摘要
进入21世纪以来,水体污染一直是一个重大问题,而染料污染是水体污染的主要来源。吸附法是去除水溶液中染料最常用的方法之一。磁性颗粒由于其优异的物理和化学性能,在水处理行业受到了广泛关注。磁性颗粒吸附技术在废水处理中表现出良好的应用前景,同时,将各种材料衍生的活性炭(AC)引入磁性材料中可以有效去除有机染料。因此,这种组合可以提供一种经济、高效、环保的水净化工艺。本文全面地描述了磁性材料和活性炭材料组合用于染料吸附的废水处理,并对磁性活性炭在废水处理中的发展方向和面临的挑战进行了展望。
Since the turn of the 21st century,water pollutionhas been a major issue,and most of the pollution is generated bydyes.Adsorption is one of the most commonly used dye-removalmethods from aqueous solution.Magnetic-particle integration inthe water-treatment industry is gaining considerable attentionbecause of its outstanding physical and chemical properties.Magnetic-particle adsorption technology shows promising andeffective outcomes for wastewater treatment owing to the presenceof magnetic material in the adsorbents that can facilitate separationthrough the application of an external magnetic field.Meanwhile,the introduction of activated carbon(AC)derived from variousmaterials into a magnetic material can lead to efficient organic-dyeremoval.Therefore,this combination can provide an economical,efficient,and environmentally friendly water-purification process.The use of a combination ofa magnetic material and an activated carbon material for dye adsorption in wastewater treatmentwas specifically and comprehensively described.The literature survey in thisreview provided evidence of the potential use of these magnetic adsorbents,as well as their magnetic separation and recovery.Futuredirections and challenges of magnetic activated carbon in wastewater treatment were also discussed.
