摘要
发生在春秋战国之际的"乐崩",关系到自周初至战国中晚期整个礼乐传统所发生的深刻变革:从外在看,它代表着有完整乐制设计、支撑的周初"大乐教",向着春秋以降注重"乐"的艺术性、娱乐性的"小乐事"状态的转变;从内在看,它代表着从依赖于制度支撑的"学统",向着基于历史叙事以凝聚道德德性的形态转变。同时,"乐崩"促发了礼乐关系的重构:如果说"大乐教"的礼乐文明是以"乐"为托底的文化形态、文化场域,则"小乐事"中的"乐"便成为"礼"的辅助形式。礼乐关系的这种转变值得注意,因为它直接影响到我们对诸子(如孔子)之于礼乐问题的理解与判定。
The Collapse of Music during the Spring and Autumn period and the Warring States period is related to the profound changes that have taken place in the whole Rites and Musical-Drama Tradition from the early Zhou Dynasty to the middle and late Warring States Period: Externally, it is manifested in the transformation from the "Great Musical-Drama " which supported by the complete political system in the early Zhou Dynasty to the "Tiny Lustful Musical Entertainment". Internally, it represents the transformation from the "Scholarship Tradition" relying on institutional support to base on historical narration to manifest moral virtue. At the same time, "the Collapse of Musical-Drama " promotes the reconstruction of the relationship between Rites and Music: if the "Great Musical-Drama " is a cultural form and field based on music, then music in "Tiny Lustful Musical Entertainment" has become an auxiliary form of "Rites". This change in the relationship between Rites and Musical-Drama is noteworthy, as it directly affects our understanding and judgment of the problems of Rites and Musical-Drama by the pre-Qin scholars(including Confucius).
