摘要
以2-甲基-2,5-二氧-1,2-氧磷杂环戊烷(OP)为主要原料,经三步反应制备了一种新型单分子膨胀型阻燃剂——对甲基丙酰苯胺基甲基次膦酸铝(Al(PMPMP))。采用红外光谱(FTIR)、核磁氢谱(^(1)H-NMR)等技术表征了目标产物。添加质量分数为15%的Al(PMPMP)可使聚乳酸(PLA)的极限氧指数(LOI)由17.6%提高至28.5%,垂直燃烧测试达到UL94 V-0级别。微形量热测试结果表明Al(PMPMP)对PLA的热释放速率抑制作用明显。热重-红外联用(TG-FTIR)结果显示Al(PMPMP)能显著降低PLA热分解过程中可燃性气体的释放。此外,扫描电镜(SEM)分析证实阻燃复合材料燃烧后出现明显的发泡膨胀,形成了表面致密而内层多孔的炭层。综上,Al(PMPMP)在气相和凝聚相对PLA实现了良好的协同阻燃。
A novel single molecular intumescent flame retardant-aluminum Pmethylpropionanilide methyl phosphinate(Al(PMPMP))was synthesized by 2-methyl-2,5-dioxo-1,2-oxaphospholane(OP)through a three-step reaction.The target product was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)and hydrogen nuclear magnetic resonance(^(1)H-NMR).The limit oxygen index(LOI)of polylactic acid(PLA)increased from 17.6%to 28.5%when adding Al(PMPMP)with a mass fraction of 15%,and the vertical burning test could pass the UL94 V-0 rating.Microscale combustion calorimeter results demonstrated that Al(PMPMP)exhibited superior performance in inhibiting heat release rate for PLA.TG-FTIR combination analysis displayed that Al(PMPMP)could effectively reduce the release of flammable gases during the thermal decomposition process of PLA.In addition,scanning electron microscopy(SEM)analysis confirmed that the flame retardant composites showed obvious foam expansion after combustion,forming a carbon layer with a dense surface and a porous inner layer.In summary,Al(PMPMP)achieved benign synergistic flame retardancy for PLA in the gas phase and condensation phase.
