摘要
江苏省位于我国东南沿海,约北纬30°45′—35°7′,东经116°22′—121°54′之间,跨暖温带、北亚热带和中亚热带三个自然带,雨量较为充沛,气候温暖,适于多种螱类生存繁殖。
Nineteen species of the termite has hitherto been recorded in the region of Jiangsu province, belonging 3 families, which 2 species is new to science. Reticulitermes dantuensis sp. nov. Comparisons. Soldies (Fig. 1 A-F) Soldiers of the present new species can be easily distinguished from all related species of the same genus by its size smaller;from R. parvus Li 1979 by its length of the head shorter, head-width index (head width/length of head to anterior margin of clypeus) larger, average 0.64 (R. parvus Li, 0.59), head slightly parenthesizedsided, posterior area of postmentum slightly broader, pronotum shorter, without distinct middle longitudinal line. Type locality. Dantu, Jiangsu Province-, soldiers (holotype and paratype), workers, nymphs collected by Zhu Benzhong et al. 1979-Ⅸ-17. Holotype. soldier deposited in the Shanghai Institute of Entomology, Academia Sinica. Paratype. soldiers deposited separately in the Shanghai Institute of Entomology, Academia Sinica;Nanjing Institute of Termite Control;Jiangsu Forestry Research Institute. Reticulitermes qingjiangensis Gao et Wang sp. nov. Comparison. Soldier (Fig 2). The soldier of R. qingjiangensis, new species, closely resembles that of R. aculabialis Tsai et Hwang, but differs as follows, the length of head is larger, posterior margin of head is straighter and antennae 17- to 18-segmented. Type locality. Qingjiang, Jiangsu Province;soldiers (holotype and paratype), workers, nymphs collected by Wan Waizhao et al. 1979-X-28. Holotype. soldier deposited in the Shanghai Institute of Entomology, Academia Sinica. Paratype. soldiers deposited separately in the Shanghai Institute of Entomology, Academia Sinica and Nanjing Institute of Termite Control.
