摘要
基于教学数据挖掘的学习分析在大学中的大规模应用已成趋势,许多大学纷纷寻求提升学生学习的创新方法,以更好地应对未来发展的挑战。文章在文献研究和实地考察的基础上,通过对澳大利亚多所大学的24位学习分析领域专家的深度访谈,并对访谈文本进行编码分析,结果发现:澳大利亚高校的学习分析实践基础条件较好,在国际学习分析研究领域中网络中心度较高;其总体特征为自下而上的微观层面的学习分析和自上而下的宏观层面的学习分析共存;挑战主要存在于数据、能力与素养、组织协调、经费等方面。澳大利亚高校学习分析方面的实践和研究已触及大学组织内部协调机制,促进了大学内部组织机构的变革,也为目前尚处于起步阶段的我国高校的学习分析实践,提供了参考和借鉴。
The large-scale application of Learning Analytics(LA)based on instructional data mining has become a trend in Australian tertiary.Meanwhile,universities have started to explore innovative ways to enhance student learning,so as to better meet the challenges in the future.Based on literature review and field investigation,the authors conducted the email-based text interviews with 24 experts in the field of LA from Australia universities.After in-depth coding and analysis of texts,this paper reaches the following findings.Australian universities have a comparatively solid infrastructure in LA,and present quite active and high centrality in international LA research network.LA in Australia universities has two co-existing modes,including bottom-up mode and top-down mode.Challenges mainly come from data source,data literacy,LA competency,organization and lack of funding,etc.The practice and research of LA in Australian universities have touched on the coordination mechanism within the university and promoted the internal reform of the university administration.The practice of LA in Chinese universities is still in its infancy.It is urgent to strengthen LA research focusing on infrastructure and data construction,so as to find out a practical path to adopt LA.
