Objective To explore the clinical effect of self-made traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions in the treatment of peptic ulcer complicated with diabetes mellitus. Methods From January to December 2021,100 patients with peptic ulcer complicated with diabetes admitted to Jianyang First Hospital of Nanping City were randomly divided into two groups. The control group was treated with conventional western medicine, and the study group was treated with self-made traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions based on syndrome differentiation. The clinical effects, blood glucose level before and after treatment, quality of life, incidence of adverse reactions and recurrence rate of the two groups were observed and analyzed. Results After treatment, the total effective rate and WHOQOL-100 score of the study group were higher than those of the control group, the fasting blood glucose,2 h postprandial blood glucose level, recurrence rate, and incidence of adverse reactions were lower than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion For patients with peptic ulcer and diabetes, the use of self-made traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions for syndrome differentiation and subtraction treatment can further improve the clinical effect. It can effectively reduce the blood glucose level and recurrence rate of patients, and improve their quality of life.At the same time, there are few adverse reactions and high safety.
