摘要
在构建新发展格局的背景下,中国对外直接投资活动越来越多地受到东道国营商环境与双边政治关系的影响。基于2003—2020年我国对“一带一路”沿线49个国家的面板数据,分析东道国营商环境对中国OFDI的影响以及双边政治关系的门槛效应。结果显示,东道国整体营商环境对中国OFDI具有积极影响,具体到营商环境的分项指标,结果存在一定差异性;双边政治关系在东道国营商环境对中国OFDI的影响中存在门槛效应,进一步研究发现,高收入、低收入国家依次通过单一门槛、双重门槛检验。最后,为进一步推动中国OFDI高质量发展,提出开展营商环境中介服务、优化双边政治关系、推进贸易与直接投资协同发展等对策建议。
Under the new development pattern, China’s OFDI activities are increasingly influenced by the host country’s business environment and bilateral political relations. Based on the panel data of 49 countries along the Belt and Road from 2003 to 2020, this paper studies the impact of the host country’s business environment on Chinese OFDI and the threshold effects of bilateral political relations. The results show that the overall business environment of the host country has a positive impact on China’s OFDI, but there is some variability in the results for the sub-indicators of the business environment. There is a threshold effect of bilateral political relations in the impact of the business environment on China’s OFDI, and the further research finds that higher-income and lower-income countries can pass the single threshold and double threshold tests in turn. To further promote the high-quality development of China’s OFDI, countermeasures such as developing intermediary services for the business environment, optimizing bilateral political relations, and promoting the synergistic development of trade and direct investment are proposed.
