Objective To analyze the effect after treatment with minimally invasive surgery in the treatment of spinal trauma. Methods 72 patients with spinal trauma admitted to the Binzhou Second People's Hospital from January 2020 to July 2021 were conveniently selected as the research subjects, the first 36 spinal trauma patients were treated with traditional open surgery and were classified as the control group, and the second 36 spinal trauma patients were treated with minimally invasive surgery and were classified as the minimally invasive group. The clinical outcomes and complication occurrence after treatment with different surgical methods were compared. Results The overall efficacy data of the minimally invasive group was 97.22%,which was higher than that of the control group 80.56%,and the difference was statistically significant(χ^(2)=7.633,P<0.05).The data related to operative time, intraoperative bleeding, postoperative hospitalization time, postoperative activity time, and postoperative Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)score were better in the minimally invasive group than in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(t=22.132,58.012,6.074,11.287,18.118,P<0.05).Postoperatively,the Cobb angle in the minimally invasive group and the height of anterior margin pressure were lower than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(t=4.148,14.047,P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the control group(36.11%)was higher than that in the minimally invasive group(11.11%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ^(2)=6.237,P<0.05).From the data of spinal cord injury grading, the data of minimally invasive group in grade E was higher than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (χ^(2)=4.531, P<0.05).Conclusion The advantages of minimallyinvasive surgery are far better than traditional open surgery, and the operation is more precise. The application of minimally invasive surgery to patients with spinal trauma is safe and effective, and the degree of damage to the operator'sbody is low, which is more conducive to the patient's postoperative physical rehabilitation.
