The causes of roof accidents in coal mining faces are complex,and different coal mining processes,coal seam geological conditions,and roof support measures may have an impact on them.Therefore,in-depth research on the causes and prevention measures of roof accidents in coal mining faces is of great significance for improving the safety level of coal production and ensuring the health of miners.Based on the above background,this article introduces an overview of roof accidents in coal mining faces,including their definitions,types,and characteristics,and analyzes the causes and prevention measures of roof accidents in coal mining faces.This paper explores and studies the causes and prevention measures of roof accidents in coal mining faces in order to provide scientific theoretical basis and practical guidance for coal mine production safety.
