Objective To analyze the clinical effect of incisional decompression and pedicle internal fixation in the treatment of patients with acute spinal trauma. Methods 70 patients with acute spinal trauma admitted to Zaozhuang Hospital of Shandong Health Group from April 2021 to July 2022 were selected, and divide them into a control group and an observation group using random number table method, with 35 patients in each group. The control group was treated with a conventional surgical plan, while the observation group was treated with an open decompression and pedicle internal fixation plan. The therapeutic effects of the two surgeries were compared and analyzed. Results Com⁃pared to the control group(77.14%),the observation group(94.26%)had a higher rate of treatment excellence, the dif⁃ference was statistically significant(χ2=4.200,P<0.05).Compared to the control group, the observation group had bet⁃ter clinical indicators, shorter surgical and hospitalization times, lower postoperative VAS scores, and higher postopera⁃tive quality of life scores, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Incisional decompression and pedicle internal fixation are used in the treatment of acute spinal trauma. It has high value in improving joint func⁃tion and restoring normal physiological results. It also has fast recovery, short hospitalization time and mild postopera⁃tive pain,so it is worthy of application.
