黄色和红色硅化木的颜色成因探讨

摘要 以黄色和红色硅化木为研究对象,通过偏光显微镜、X射线荧光光谱、激光拉曼光谱、紫外-可见光吸收光谱等测试技术对其矿物学、光谱学特征及颜色成因进行分析和探讨。结果显示,黄色和红色硅化木的主要矿物组成均为α-石英,次要矿物组成为针铁矿和赤铁矿,硅化木的黄色主要与针铁矿密切相关,红色主要由赤铁矿所引起。薄片观察时,针铁矿和赤铁矿以浸染状、点状两种形式赋存在α-石英颗粒间。X射线荧光光谱测试表明黄色和红色硅化木的主要化学成分均为SiO_(2),且致色元素Fe的含量较高。结合拉曼光谱测试可知,黄色和红色区域分别测试出了针铁矿物相与赤铁矿物相的存在。紫外-可见光吸收光谱的一阶导数谱中,黄色区域具有较强的535~536 nm和435 nm特征峰,主要由针铁矿致色;红色区域在592~594nm出现了明显峰位,主要由赤铁矿致色。 Taking yellow and red silicified wood as the research object,the mineralogy,spectra characteristics and color origin were analyzed and discussed by polarizing microscope,X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy,laser Raman spectroscopy,UV-visible absorption spectroscopy and other testing techniques.The results show that yellow and red silicified wood is composed mainly ofα-quartz,and the minor mineral composition is goethite and hematite.The yellow color is closely related to goethite,and the red color is mainly caused by hematite.When observed in thin sections,goethite and hematite are present in theα-quartz particles in the form of disseminated and punctate.X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy showed that the main chemical components of yellow and red silicified wood were SiO_(2),and the content of Fe was high.The presence of goethite mineral phase and hematite mineral phase was detected in the yellow region and the red region,respectively.In the first derivative spectra of UV-VIS absorption spectra,the yellow region has strong characteristic peaks at 535-536 nm and 435 nm,which are mainly caused by goethite.The red region shows obvious peaks between 592 nm and 594 nm,which are mainly caused by hematite.
