摘要
研究了不同实时IMDD OFDM-PON系统接收端在FPGA的具体实现方式对系统功耗的影响,并利用实时IMDD OFDM-PON系统特性,设计了一种使用全并行Spiral FFT和双时钟域的基于FPGA的实时IMDD OFDM-PON节能系统接收机架构,并在ML605中实现了本架构。相对于传统的实现架构,在保证传输性能的前提下,该节能架构可以降低系统20%的功耗。节能架构充分利用了实时IMDD OFDM-PON系统特性,适用于任何基于FPGA实现的实时IMDD OFDM-PON系统ONU端和OLT端的接收机,且易于与其他节能方案结合,具有很高的应用价值。
This paper studies the impact of different real-time IMDD OFDM-PON system receiver's implementation of FPGA for system power consumption.Taking advantage of the characteristics of the real-time IMDD-OFDM-PON system,a FPGA based realtime IMDD OFDM-PON energy-efficient system receiver architecture,which uses fully parallel Spiral FFT and dual clock domain,is designed and implemented on ML605 FPGA platform.Compared with the traditional implementation architecture,the proposed energy-efficient architecture can reduce the power consumption of the system by 20%.Moreover,the proposed energy-efficient architecture is suitable for any FPGA-based realtime IMDD OFDM-PON system ONU-side and OLT-side receiver,and is easy to combine with other energy-efficient solutions.
