摘要
数字媒介渗透到日常生活的方方面面,对个体和集体记忆产生深远影响。这导致了一场连接转向,在本体论层面挑战了关于何为记忆、记忆何为的传统理解。连接转向的论断建立在若干预设的基础之上,包括后稀缺社会和记忆饱和、记忆的无地方性,以及集体记忆的终结。从深度媒介化和连接文化角度对上述预设展开否思,有助于揭示数字记忆的结构、机制和后果。
Digital media permeate all aspects of everyday life and have a profound impact on individual and collective remembering.The Connective Turn,according to Andrew Hoskins,drives an ontological shift in what memory is and what memory does.By situating Hoskins’s arguments in the context of deep mediatization and the culture of connectivity,this article aims to highlight and unthink the basic presuppositions of Connective Turn,including the rise of the post-scarcity society,the placelessness of digital remembering,and the end of collective memory.Such unthinking would enable us to raise and address questions regarding the dynamics of the embeddedness,convergence and effervescence of digital memory.
