摘要
本历时个案研究以定向动机流为理论框架,采用愿景驱动干预方法,考察了5名大学生的英语学习动机。结果显示:1)被试的学习动机轨迹起伏波动,呈非线性变化特征;2)在历时21周的30个干预阶段中,15个阶段效果明显,动机流强劲,体现了学习目标适切性、自我调控意识、积极情感、行为感知的协同效应;3)愿景驱动功能缺失的原因,一是目标过高,未来预期贬值,二是目标过低,驱动乏力,两者均导致动机流中断。本研究的启示是,充分利用愿景的动机生成效用,最大限度调动学生的学习动机,优化教学效果,进而探索构建知、情、意、行全人化的外语教学模式,全面提高外语人才培养质量。
The present longitudinal case study aims to promote five college students'English learning motivation with vision intervention under the framework of Directed Motivational Current(s).It is found that the participants'motivational trajectories fluctuate,manifesting nonlinear variations.Fifteen out of the thirty interventional phases lasting some 21 weeks prove to be effective,illuminated by strong motivational currents,which reflect the synergistic effects of goal appropriateness,self-regulation,positive emotionality and behavior perception.Vision per se is counterbalanced by too high goals that devalue future expectancy and too low goals that fail to generate driving force,thus leading to the disruption of motivational currents.It is suggested that English instructors make the best of vision to generate motivation so as to(1)promote students'learning motivation and optimize teaching effect and(2)improve the cultivation quality of foreign language talents by implementing whole-person instructions with cognition,emotion,conation and behavior organically integrated.
