摘要
本文基于全国文明城市评选的准自然实验场景,采用多时点双重差分方法探究文明城市创建对企业劳动收入份额的影响。研究发现:(1)文明城市创建能够显著提升企业劳动收入份额。(2)文明城市创建通过提升员工素质、降低企业融资成本和激发企业创新意愿来提高劳动收入份额。(3)异质性分析表明,文明城市创建对企业劳动收入份额的提升作用在劳动密集度较低、不具有银企关联以及行业竞争程度较低的企业更为显著。本文基于微观企业劳动收入份额的视角验证了文明城市创建的治理效应,对于企业高质量发展及共同富裕目标的实现具有一定的启示。
Based on a quasi-natural experimental scenario of the National Civilized City selection,this paper uses a multi-period difference-in-differences approach to investigate the impact of creating civilized cities on corporate labor income share.The results show that:(1)Creating civilized cities can significantly increase the corporate labor income share.(2)The creation of civilized cities improves labor income share by enhancing the quality of employees,reducing corporate financing costs,and stimulating corporate willingness to innovate.(3)Heterogeneity analysis shows that the positive impact of creating civilized cities on corporate labor income share is more pronounced in firms with low labor intensive firms,without bank connections,and less fierce industry competition.Based on the perspective of micro-corporate labor income share,this paper verifies the governance effect of creating civilized cities and provides implications for promoting high-quality development of enterprises and achieving the goal of common prosperity.
