摘要
对一种齿轮摆杆式强度调制光纤流量传感器进行了设计与实验。首先,提出了一种强度调制型光纤流量传感器系统,阐述了传感器系统的工作原理,再详细论述了传感器的探头结构及工作原理;然后,依据流体力学与光纤强度调制原理建立了传感器的数学模型M,在理论模型的基础上,进行了仿真实例分析,得出了传感器摆动杆重量m,受力板半径r,通流管道半径R,被测流体密度等参数变化时的Q-M曲线;最后,进行了传感器检测实验,得出了I-曲线,及其拟合方程。实验结果表明:随着传感器摆动杆重量的减小,或者受力板半径的增大,传感器的灵敏度会增大;随着被测流体密度取值的减小,或者通流管道半径取值的增大,传感器的灵敏度会减小;传感器接收光信号强度与入射光纤束有效发射面积弧度具有近似线性关系。研究表明,这里设计的齿轮摆杆式强度调制光纤流量传感器能实现流体流速的检测,且具有较好的灵敏度及线性度。
It kind of intensity modulation optical fiber flow sensor with gear swing rod is designed and modeled.Firstly,an inten-sity modulated optical fiber flow sensor system is proposed and the working principle of the sensor system is described,then the probe structure and working principle of the sensor are discussed in detail.After that,according to the principles of hydrodynam-ics and optical fiber intensity modulation,the mathematical model m of the sensor is established,on the basis of the theoretical model,a simulation example is analyzed,and the Q-M curve is obtained when the weight of the sensor swing rod m,the radius of the force plate r,the radius of the flow passage R,and the measured fluid density changed.Finally,the sensor detection exper-iment is carried out,and the I-curve and its fitting equation are obtained.The experimental results show that:the sensitivity of the sensor increases with the decrease of the weight of the sensor swing bar or the increase of the radius of the force plate;With the decrease of the density of the measured fluid or the increase of the radius of the flow passage,the sensitivity of the sensor will de-crease;There is an approximate linear relationship between the received light signal intensity of the sensor and the radian of the ef-fective emission area of the incident optical fiber bundle.The results show that the intensity modulation optical fiber flow sensor with gear swing rod designed in this paper can realize the detection of fluid velocity,and has good sensitivity and linearity.
