摘要
数字金融作为金融与数字技术相融合的全新产物,对于秉持“绿水青山就是金山银山”理念具有重大意义。运用2014—2020年中国长江经济带863个区县的面板数据,在理论剖析的基础之上,通过实证分析探究数字金融发展对长江经济带环境质量的影响及其作用机制。研究结果显示,数字金融发展显著提升长江经济带的环境质量,在进行一系列的稳健性检验后,该结论依然成立。技术创新是数字金融发展提升长江经济带环境质量的作用机制。通过异质性分析发现,数字金融的覆盖广度和深度对于环境质量的提升发挥着显著作用,且对贫困县的环境质量提升幅度更为显著。上述结论为通过提升数字金融发展来促使长江经济带环境质量取得进步提供经验性的依据。
As a new product combining finance and digital technology,digital finance is of great significance for adhering to the concept of"beautiful scenery is priceless".Based on the panel data of 863 counties in China Yangtze River Economic Belt from 2014 to 2020,this paper empirically analyzes the impact of digital finance development on the environmental quality of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and its mechanism.The results show that the development of digital finance has significantly improved the environmental quality of the Yangtze River Economic Belt,and this conclusion still holds after a series of robustness tests.Scientific and technological innovation is the mechanism of digital finance development to improve the environmental quality of the Yangtze River Economic Belt.Through the analysis of heterogeneity,it can be seen that the coverage and depth of digital finance have a significant effect on improving the environmental quality,especially in poor counties.The above conclusions provide empirical evidence for promoting the improvement of environmental quality in the Yangtze River Economic Belt by promoting the development of digital finance.
