摘要
本文以成都、重庆、贵阳、昆明、武汉话为例对西南官话连读变调现象进行分析解释。西南官话两字组连读存在语音变调和音义变调两种类型,主要特点是:语音变调前字降调形变平调形,音义变调后字变高阶调;语音变调前重,音义变调后重,呈现为“前/后重型”的节律类型;语音层面的连读变调机制允许低调相连,限制降调相连,由此形成高低对立平调为主的连字调格局。
This paper uses the dialects of Chengdu,Chongqing,Guiyang,Kunming,and Wuhan as examples to analyze and explain the phenomena of tone sandhi in Southwestern Mandarin.There are two types of tone sandhi in Southwestern Mandarin:phonological tone sandhi and phonological-semantic tone sandhi.The main characteristics are as follows:in phonological tone sandhi,the falling tone becomes a level tone at the first syllable;in phonologicalsemantic tone sandhi,it becomes a high register tone at the second syllable.The rhythm type is either left or right heavy.The tone sandhi mechanism at the phonological level allows for low tone connection,but not for falling tone connection.This forms the tone patterns of sandhi that are comprised primarily of level tones that contrast high vs.1ow.
