摘要
中国服饰文化词是中华优秀传统文化的重要组成部分,涵盖着服饰形制特点、文化意象、历史背景等诸多内容,将其准确地英译对弘扬中华优秀传统文化具有重要意义。在认知识解理论的指导下,以《乐府诗集》中服饰文化词建构的数据库为基石,结合国内外不同的英译版本,从“聚焦”(focusing)、“突显”(prominence)、“视角”(perspective)和“详略度”(specificity)4个维度对比分析乐府诗中服饰文化词的英译情况,并进一步探讨译者的认知识解方式,包括自身文化背景、翻译立场选择、翻译目的需要、思维及语言能力的差异。
As an essential part of fine traditional Chinese culture,the clothing words imprinted by Chinese culture cover characteristics of clothing forms,cultural images,historical backgrounds and others,whose accurate English expressions are vital for the spread of Chinese culture.Given cognitive construal,the paper,based on the Yuefu Poetry′s database related to these clothing words,contrasts the different English translations of the poems at home and abroad to analyse their translation cases from focusing,prominence,perspective,and specificity.In addition,translators′ways of cognitive construal are discussed in view of the differences in cultural backgrounds,translation positions,translation purposes and thinking as well as linguistic abilities.
