摘要
公共服务动机的影响效应探讨是该理论的研究热点之一,也是深入理解该理论的重要前提。经过多年的研究积累,学者们形成了公共服务动机“阳光面”和“阴暗面”的论点。本研究首先系统梳理了这两类论点的文献及其主要解释理论,在此基础上,构建了两个递进式的公共服务动机影响模型,旨在通过多重影响效应分析以回应和弥合当前关于公共服务动机的这两类论点:其一,运用系统性思维,本研究将“阳光面”和“阴暗面”整合至一个理论框架,尝试构建了公共服务动机“双刃剑”影响模型;其二,不囿于先前简单线性论断,本研究认为“阳光面”和“阴暗面”并不是非此即彼的关系,探索式构建了公共服务动机非线性影响模型。为了进一步深化学界对公共服务动机多重影响效应的理解,本研究认为未来研究可以在研究设计、变量选择和管理实践探索三个方面展开更深入的探讨。
The discussion on the effect of public service motivation(PSM)is one of the current research hot topics and an important prerequisite for a deep understanding of this theory.Over the years,scholars have developed two contrasting views of PSM:the“bright side”and the“dark side”.This paper systematically reviews the literature on these opposing perspectives and their main explanatory theories.Based on this review,it develops two progressive impact models for PSM,aiming to address and reconcile the current debates.First,using systematic view,it integrates the“bright side”and“dark side”into a comprehensive theoretical framework,proposing a“double-edged sword”model of PSM.Second,instead of relying on the previous simple linear conclusion,it argues that the“bright side”and“dark side”alone cannot fully explain the complex effects of PSM.Therefore,it explores the development of a nonlinear model for PSM.To deepen scholars understanding of the multiple effects of PSM,future research should focus on improving research design,refining variable selection,and exploring practical management explorations.
