摘要
针对电火花加工控制系统仍多使用脉冲模拟量控制方式,不满足电火花加工这类高精密加工对控制系统的高实时性、准确性、响应性需求的问题,以及目前主流EtherCAT软主站所存在的开发难度较大、移植困难、实时性局限等缺点,提出了基于ECM-XF芯片和FPGA搭建电火花加工控制系统EtherCAT主站方案,进行了电机运转测试与实际机床加工实验。实验表明:此主站设计方案极大降低了开发难度,可移植性强,实时控制良好,可较好地完成电火花小孔加工,在电火花加工方面具有实用性,为EtherCAT协议在其他工业领域中的应用提供主站设计方案参考。
In response to the problem that the pulse analog control method is still widely used in the EDM control system,which cannot meet the high real-time,accuracy and responsiveness requirements of high precision EDM,as well as the disadvantages of high development difficulty,poor portability and limited real-time performance of the mainstream EtherCAT soft master,a solution based on the ECM-XF chip and FPGA(field programmable gate array)for building an EDM control system EtherCAT master station was proposed.Motor operation tests and actual machine tool processing experiments were conducted.The experimental results show that the master station design solution greatly reduces the development difficulty,has strong portability,good real-time control,and can perform EDM drilling processing well.It has practical value in EDM and provides a reference for the design of the master station in other industrial fields for the application of EtherCAT protocol.
