摘要
本文对16世纪后期天主教为何以广东作为在中国传教的入楔点,以及在广东传播的三个阶段(澳门、肇庆、韶州)作了全面的考订和阐述。对当时教会内部有关在华传教方针的分歧和争论,以及传教方针调整后所体现的特色也作了相应论证。文章强调,由于传教活动"学术含量"的增大,因而它在文化交流方面的作用就更为显著,广东之所以在中国近代化历程中起先导作用,实与此密切相关。
The essay examines and verifies the reasons why the spread of the Catholicity began in Guangzhou first and three periods of the spread (Macao, Zhaoqing and Shaozhou). Besides, the essay illustrates the different opinions and debate on the policy of the Catholicity's spread in China among the people in the Catholic church, the characteristics of the policy after its adaptation.It is emphasized that because of the increase of academic content during the spread, the function is more prominent during cultural communication and that Guangdong led the process of Chinese modernization has much to do with it.
