摘要
卡车轮胎胎面胶常采用天然橡胶(NR)作为橡胶基体材料,为进一步降低卡车轮胎胎面胶的滚动阻力、提高耐磨耗性能和动态疲劳性能,研究了新一代反式橡胶—高反式-1,4-丁二烯-异戊二烯共聚橡胶(TBIR)在卡车轮胎胎面胶中的应用。研究表明,采用10~20份TBIR与NR并用,NR/TBIR混炼胶格林强度及100%定伸应力较NR混炼胶均显著提高。与NR硫化胶相比,NR/TBIR硫化胶拉伸性能和耐湿滑性能保持不变,撕裂强度和弹性略有提高,压缩生热降低,耐屈挠疲劳性能提高约1~2倍,滚动阻力降低10%,DIN耐磨耗性能提高18%~25%,阿克隆耐磨耗性能提高17%~25%。体视显微镜和扫描电镜(SEM)均表明,NR硫化胶磨耗表面粗糙、磨削尺寸较大;而NR/TBIR硫化胶表面比较光滑、磨削尺寸较小。因此,TBIR与NR并用可制备高性能(节油、安全、长服役时间)卡车轮胎胎面胶。
Nature rubber(NR),as widely used truck tire tread stock,was modified by blending with trans-1,4-poly(butadiene-co-isoprene)copolymer rubber(TBIR)for lower rolling resistance,higher abrasion resistance and better dynamic fatigue resistance.The results showed that,both the green strength and the 100%modulus of NR/TBIR compounds with 10—20 phr TBIR incorporation was increased greatly than that of NR compound.When compared with NR vulcanizate,the NR/TBIR vulcanizates showed excellent mechanical and dynamic properties,including slightly increased tear strength and rebound,lower heat built-up,greatly improved flex fatigue resistance(about 1—2 times higher),decreased rolling resistance(10%lower),improved DIN abrasion resistance(18%—25% higher),improved Akron abrasion resistance(17%—25% higher)and almost unchanged tensile strength and wet-skid resistance.Stereomicroscope and SEM images indicated that deeper and larger grinding pits were observed on the surface of NR vulcanizate after DIN abrasion test,while the NR/TBIR vulcanizates showed smoother surfaces with much smaller grinding pites.Therefore,we can concluded that TBIR can be blended with NR for high performance tread stocks of truck tire and contribute to the tires with lower oil consuming,much safer and longer serving life.
