摘要
介绍了什么是巨磁电阻效应,以及由此获得的一种新型功能材料—巨磁电阻材料;巨磁电阻材料的不同类型,描述了其特性;此外还介绍了用于计算机硬磁盘驱动器的巨磁电阻磁头和巨磁电阻随机存储器的最新应用和开发,指出巨磁电阻材料在传感器等方面的应用也令人瞩目,有着广阔的市场前景.
First the giant magnetoresistive(GMR) effect is introduced in this paper. According to the GMR effect , a new kind of functional material -giant magnetoresistive (GMR)materials has been gotten .The kind of GMR materials and its feature also are given. Finally the recent application and development of the GMR heads which are used in computer hard disks and GMR MARMs are discussed , and GMR materials also have remarkable market potential in sensor and other field application.
