Appling clinical pathways to the medical treatment and nursing procedure could significantly improve the work efficiency by simplifying the treatment recording, optimizing the work flow and building up a self-enforce system. The working quality inspection and control also could benefit from the clinical pathways, for they introduce standardized forms which are convenient to be managed by computer system. This paper analyzed the principle idea of the clinical pathways, applications and advantages from 6 aspects.
