Cardiac arrest can lead to severe neurological impairment as a result of inflammation,mitochondrial dysfunction,and post-cardiopulmonary resuscitation neurological damage.Hypoxic preconditioning has been shown to impr...Cardiac arrest can lead to severe neurological impairment as a result of inflammation,mitochondrial dysfunction,and post-cardiopulmonary resuscitation neurological damage.Hypoxic preconditioning has been shown to improve migration and survival of bone marrow–derived mesenchymal stem cells and reduce pyroptosis after cardiac arrest,but the specific mechanisms by which hypoxia-preconditioned bone marrow–derived mesenchymal stem cells protect against brain injury after cardiac arrest are unknown.To this end,we established an in vitro co-culture model of bone marrow–derived mesenchymal stem cells and oxygen–glucose deprived primary neurons and found that hypoxic preconditioning enhanced the protective effect of bone marrow stromal stem cells against neuronal pyroptosis,possibly through inhibition of the MAPK and nuclear factor κB pathways.Subsequently,we transplanted hypoxia-preconditioned bone marrow–derived mesenchymal stem cells into the lateral ventricle after the return of spontaneous circulation in an 8-minute cardiac arrest rat model induced by asphyxia.The results showed that hypoxia-preconditioned bone marrow–derived mesenchymal stem cells significantly reduced cardiac arrest–induced neuronal pyroptosis,oxidative stress,and mitochondrial damage,whereas knockdown of the liver isoform of phosphofructokinase in bone marrow–derived mesenchymal stem cells inhibited these effects.To conclude,hypoxia-preconditioned bone marrow–derived mesenchymal stem cells offer a promising therapeutic approach for neuronal injury following cardiac arrest,and their beneficial effects are potentially associated with increased expression of the liver isoform of phosphofructokinase following hypoxic preconditioning.展开更多

Pitch produced by the lique-faction of coal was divided into two frac-tions:soluble in toluene(TS)and insol-uble in toluene but soluble in pyridine(TI-PS),and their differences in molecu-lar structure and oxidation ac...Pitch produced by the lique-faction of coal was divided into two frac-tions:soluble in toluene(TS)and insol-uble in toluene but soluble in pyridine(TI-PS),and their differences in molecu-lar structure and oxidation activity were studied.Several different carbon materi-als were produced from them by oxida-tion in air(350℃,300 mL/min)fol-lowed by carbonization(1000℃ in Ar),and the effect of the cross-linked structure on their structure and sodium storage properties was investigated.The results showed that the two pitch fractions were obviously different after the air oxidation.The TS fraction with a low degree of condensation and abundant side chains had a stronger oxidation activity and thus introduced more cross-linked oxygen-containing functional groups C(O)―O which prevented carbon layer rearrangement during the carbonization.As a result,a disordered hard carbon with more defects was formed,which improved the electrochemical performance.Therefore,the carbon materials derived from TS(O-TS-1000)had an obvious disordered structure and a larger layer spacing,giving them better sodium storage perform-ance than those derived from the TI-PS fraction(O-TI-PS-1000).The specific capacity of O-TS-1000 was about 250 mAh/g at 20 mA/g,which was 1.67 times higher than that of O-TI-PS-1000(150 mAh/g).展开更多

Magnesium hydride(MgH_(2))is an important material for hydrogen(H_(2))storage and transportation owing to its high capacity and reversibility.However,its intrinsic properties have considerably limited its industrial a...Magnesium hydride(MgH_(2))is an important material for hydrogen(H_(2))storage and transportation owing to its high capacity and reversibility.However,its intrinsic properties have considerably limited its industrial application.In this study,the NiFe-800 catalyst as metal-organic framework(MOF)derivative was first utilized to promote the intrinsic properties of MgH_(2).Compared to pure MgH_(2),which releases1.24 wt%H_(2)in 60 min at 275℃,the MgH_(2)-10 NiFe-800 composite releases 5.85 wt%H_(2)in the same time.Even at a lower temperature of 250℃,the MgH_(2)-10 NiFe-800 composite releases 3.57 wt%H_(2),surpassing the performance of pure MgH_(2)at 275℃.Correspondingly,while pure MgH_(2)absorbs 2.08 wt%H_(2)in60 min at 125℃,the MgH_(2)-10 NiFe-800 composite absorbs 5.35 wt%H_(2)in just 1 min,Remarkably,the MgH_(2)-10 NiFe-800 composite absorbs 2.27 wt%H_(2)in 60 min at 50℃and 4.64 wt%H_(2)at 75℃.This indicates that MgH_(2)-10 NiFe-800 exhibits optimum performance with excellent kinetics at low temperatures.Furthermore,the capacity of the MgH_(2)-10 NiFe-800 composite remains largely stable after 10cycles.Moreover,the Mg_(2)Ni/Mg_(2)NiH_(4)acts as a"hydrogen pump",providing effective diffusion channels that enhance the kinetic process of the composite during cycling.Additionally,Fe0facilitates electron transfer and creates hydrogen diffusion channels and catalytic sites.Finally,carbon(C)effectively prevents particle agglomeration and maintains the cyclic stability of the composites.Consequently,the synergistic effects of Mg_(2)Ni/Mg_(2)NiH_(4),Fe^(0),and C considerably improve the kinetic properties and cycling stability of MgH_(2).This work offers an effective and valuable approach to improving the hydrogen storage efficiency in the commercial application of MgH_(2).展开更多
High-energy-density(HED)fuel(e.g.widely used JP-10 and RJ-4),featuring compact 3D polycyclic structure with high strain,is of critical importance for volume-limited military aircraft,since their high density and combu...High-energy-density(HED)fuel(e.g.widely used JP-10 and RJ-4),featuring compact 3D polycyclic structure with high strain,is of critical importance for volume-limited military aircraft,since their high density and combustion heat can provide more propulsion energy.To reduce the reliance on petroleum source,it is highly desirable to develop renewable alternatives for the production of strained polycyclic HED fuel,but which remains a big challenge because of the inaccessibility caused by the high strain,We herein demonstrate a three-step catalytic route towards highly strained C_(17)and C_(18)spirofuel with biomass feedstocks.The process includes catalytic aldol condensation of renewable cyclohexanone/cyclopentanone with benzaldehyde,catalytic spiro Diels-Alder(D-A)reaction of aldol adduct with isoprene,and catalytic hydrodeoxygenation.The key spiro D-A reaction is enabled by the catalysis of heterogeneous Lewis acidic ionic liquid.The chloroaluminate IL,formed by benign urea and AICl3,exhibits good catalytic performance and reusability for this step.An eventual hydrodeoxygenation(HDO)over Pd/C and H-Y produces strained tricyclic spirofuel with density>0.93 g/mL,combustion heat>41 MJ/L and freezing point<-40℃,which are better than the properties of tactical fuel RJ-4.Therefore,it is anticipated that the as-prepared renewable fuels have the potential to replace traditional petroleum-derived HED fuels.展开更多
Goji berry is a famous edible and medicinal substance around the world.In this research,15 phenylpropionyl phenylethylamine derivatives(1-15),in cluding one new compound(1),were separated and identified from g oji ber...Goji berry is a famous edible and medicinal substance around the world.In this research,15 phenylpropionyl phenylethylamine derivatives(1-15),in cluding one new compound(1),were separated and identified from g oji berry.All isolates were elucidated via ex tensive nuclear magnetic resonance spectral analyses and chemical techniques.Six known isolates were first obtained from Lycium genus.Six isolates were effectively split in to double chromatographic peaks accompanied by the basically identical areas,indicating they belong to racemates.The oxygen radical absorbance capacity(ORAC)experiment indicated that all isolates displayed a capacity of scavenging free radicals,and most of them exhibited higher ORAC than epigallocatechingallate.In ethanol/palmitic acid-established in vitro hepatocyte injury model,four phenylpropionyl phenylethylamine derivatives(1,2,9,and 15)significantly alleviated hepatocyte injury,among which compound 1 exerted the strongest protective activity.Notably,the hepatoprotective effect of compound 1 was further confirmed in ethanol-established liver damage mouse model,reflected by the reduction of lipid accumulation and the attenuation of pathological alteration.Combined with the in vitro results,the in vivo observations suggested that compound 1 suppressed cell apoptosis and the outburst of inflammation.Our findings provided first-hand evidence proving that goji berry-derived phenylpropionyl phenylethylamine derivatives hold a potential in treating alcoholic liver disease.展开更多

The controller is called DE-PID co...To determine the optimal or near optimal parameters of PID controller with incomplete derivation, a novel design method based on differential evolution (DE) algorithm is presented. The controller is called DE-PID controller. To overcome the disadvantages of the integral performance criteria in the frequency domain such as IAE, ISE, and ITSE, a new performance criterion in the time domain is proposed. The optimization procedures employing the DE algorithm to search the optimal or near optimal PID controller parameters of a control system are demonstrated in detail. Three typical control systems are chosen to test and evaluate the adaptation and robustness of the proposed DE-PID controller. The simulation results show that the proposed approach has superior features of easy implementation, stable convergence characteristic, and good computational efficiency. Compared with the ZN, GA, and ASA, the proposed design method is indeed more efficient and robust in improving the step response of a control system.展开更多

For a given control system with this kind of PID controller, a group of optimal PID controller parameters K p * , T i * , and T d * can be obtained by taking the overshoot, settling time, and steady-state error of the system's unit step response as the performance indexes and by use of our improved ant system algorithm. K p * , T i * , and T d * can be used in real-time control. This kind of controller is called the ASA-PID controller with incomplete derivation. To verify the performance of the ASA-PID controller, three different typical transfer functions were tested, and three existing typical tuning methods of PID controller parameters, including the Ziegler-Nichols method (ZN),the genetic algorithm (GA),and the simulated annealing (SA), were adopted for comparison. The simulation results showed that the ASA-PID controller can be used to control different objects and has better performance compared with the ZN-PID and GA-PID controllers, and comparable performance compared with the SA-PID controller.展开更多

Peierls energy and Peierls stress decrease monotonically with the factor of modification of force law. The fucoidan was hydrolyzed into monosaccharides with 2 mol/L trifluoroacetic acid. Using ribose as the internal standard, the monosaecharide derivatives, obtained with 1-Phenyl-3-methyl-5- pyrazolone (PMP), were separated by reverse-phase HPLC using a gradient elution process, and monitored by ultraviolet detection at 245 nm. In the concentration range of 0.1-2.0 mmol/L, the peak area of each monosaccharide had a good linear relationship with its concentration (r^2〉0.998). The average recoveries of mannose, rhamnose, glucuronic acid, glucose, galactose, xylose, and fucose were 86.2%, 95.1%, 62.5%, 102.0%, 94.8%, 66.6%, and 105.1%, respectively. This method was accurate and had good reproducibility and could be used to determine the monosaccharide contents of fucoidans.展开更多

文摘5-Hydroxymethylfurfural(HMF)and its oxidation derivatives have emerged as a bridge between biomass resources and the future energy industry.These renewable biomass resources can be transformed into a variety of value-added chemicals,thereby addressing the challenges posed by diminishing fossil fuel reserves and environmental concerns.The immobilization of catalysts represents an innovative method for the sustainable and efficient synthesis of HMF and its oxidation derivatives.This method not only enhances the yield and selectivity of the products but also allows for the optimization of the catalytic performance of immobilized catalysts through the strategic design of their supports.In this review,we provide an overview of the recent advancements in the technology of immobilized catalyst and its application in the synthesis of HMF and its oxidation derivatives,with a particular focus on the preparation and catalytic characteristics of these immobilized catalysts.Furthermore,we discuss potential future directions for the development of immobilized catalysts,including the preparation of high-performance immobilized catalysts,the exploration of their growth and catalytic mechanisms,and the economic implications of raw material utilization.This area of research presents both significant promise and considerable challenges.

文摘Magnesium hydride(MgH_(2))is an important material for hydrogen(H_(2))storage and transportation owing to its high capacity and reversibility.However,its intrinsic properties have considerably limited its industrial application.In this study,the NiFe-800 catalyst as metal-organic framework(MOF)derivative was first utilized to promote the intrinsic properties of MgH_(2).Compared to pure MgH_(2),which releases1.24 wt%H_(2)in 60 min at 275℃,the MgH_(2)-10 NiFe-800 composite releases 5.85 wt%H_(2)in the same time.Even at a lower temperature of 250℃,the MgH_(2)-10 NiFe-800 composite releases 3.57 wt%H_(2),surpassing the performance of pure MgH_(2)at 275℃.Correspondingly,while pure MgH_(2)absorbs 2.08 wt%H_(2)in60 min at 125℃,the MgH_(2)-10 NiFe-800 composite absorbs 5.35 wt%H_(2)in just 1 min,Remarkably,the MgH_(2)-10 NiFe-800 composite absorbs 2.27 wt%H_(2)in 60 min at 50℃and 4.64 wt%H_(2)at 75℃.This indicates that MgH_(2)-10 NiFe-800 exhibits optimum performance with excellent kinetics at low temperatures.Furthermore,the capacity of the MgH_(2)-10 NiFe-800 composite remains largely stable after 10cycles.Moreover,the Mg_(2)Ni/Mg_(2)NiH_(4)acts as a"hydrogen pump",providing effective diffusion channels that enhance the kinetic process of the composite during cycling.Additionally,Fe0facilitates electron transfer and creates hydrogen diffusion channels and catalytic sites.Finally,carbon(C)effectively prevents particle agglomeration and maintains the cyclic stability of the composites.Consequently,the synergistic effects of Mg_(2)Ni/Mg_(2)NiH_(4),Fe^(0),and C considerably improve the kinetic properties and cycling stability of MgH_(2).This work offers an effective and valuable approach to improving the hydrogen storage efficiency in the commercial application of MgH_(2).

文摘High-energy-density(HED)fuel(e.g.widely used JP-10 and RJ-4),featuring compact 3D polycyclic structure with high strain,is of critical importance for volume-limited military aircraft,since their high density and combustion heat can provide more propulsion energy.To reduce the reliance on petroleum source,it is highly desirable to develop renewable alternatives for the production of strained polycyclic HED fuel,but which remains a big challenge because of the inaccessibility caused by the high strain,We herein demonstrate a three-step catalytic route towards highly strained C_(17)and C_(18)spirofuel with biomass feedstocks.The process includes catalytic aldol condensation of renewable cyclohexanone/cyclopentanone with benzaldehyde,catalytic spiro Diels-Alder(D-A)reaction of aldol adduct with isoprene,and catalytic hydrodeoxygenation.The key spiro D-A reaction is enabled by the catalysis of heterogeneous Lewis acidic ionic liquid.The chloroaluminate IL,formed by benign urea and AICl3,exhibits good catalytic performance and reusability for this step.An eventual hydrodeoxygenation(HDO)over Pd/C and H-Y produces strained tricyclic spirofuel with density>0.93 g/mL,combustion heat>41 MJ/L and freezing point<-40℃,which are better than the properties of tactical fuel RJ-4.Therefore,it is anticipated that the as-prepared renewable fuels have the potential to replace traditional petroleum-derived HED fuels.

文摘Goji berry is a famous edible and medicinal substance around the world.In this research,15 phenylpropionyl phenylethylamine derivatives(1-15),in cluding one new compound(1),were separated and identified from g oji berry.All isolates were elucidated via ex tensive nuclear magnetic resonance spectral analyses and chemical techniques.Six known isolates were first obtained from Lycium genus.Six isolates were effectively split in to double chromatographic peaks accompanied by the basically identical areas,indicating they belong to racemates.The oxygen radical absorbance capacity(ORAC)experiment indicated that all isolates displayed a capacity of scavenging free radicals,and most of them exhibited higher ORAC than epigallocatechingallate.In ethanol/palmitic acid-established in vitro hepatocyte injury model,four phenylpropionyl phenylethylamine derivatives(1,2,9,and 15)significantly alleviated hepatocyte injury,among which compound 1 exerted the strongest protective activity.Notably,the hepatoprotective effect of compound 1 was further confirmed in ethanol-established liver damage mouse model,reflected by the reduction of lipid accumulation and the attenuation of pathological alteration.Combined with the in vitro results,the in vivo observations suggested that compound 1 suppressed cell apoptosis and the outburst of inflammation.Our findings provided first-hand evidence proving that goji berry-derived phenylpropionyl phenylethylamine derivatives hold a potential in treating alcoholic liver disease.

文摘To determine the optimal or near optimal parameters of PID controller with incomplete derivation, a novel design method based on differential evolution (DE) algorithm is presented. The controller is called DE-PID controller. To overcome the disadvantages of the integral performance criteria in the frequency domain such as IAE, ISE, and ITSE, a new performance criterion in the time domain is proposed. The optimization procedures employing the DE algorithm to search the optimal or near optimal PID controller parameters of a control system are demonstrated in detail. Three typical control systems are chosen to test and evaluate the adaptation and robustness of the proposed DE-PID controller. The simulation results show that the proposed approach has superior features of easy implementation, stable convergence characteristic, and good computational efficiency. Compared with the ZN, GA, and ASA, the proposed design method is indeed more efficient and robust in improving the step response of a control system.

文摘A new and intelligent design method for PID controller with incomplete derivation is proposed based on the ant system algorithm ( ASA) . For a given control system with this kind of PID controller, a group of optimal PID controller parameters K p * , T i * , and T d * can be obtained by taking the overshoot, settling time, and steady-state error of the system's unit step response as the performance indexes and by use of our improved ant system algorithm. K p * , T i * , and T d * can be used in real-time control. This kind of controller is called the ASA-PID controller with incomplete derivation. To verify the performance of the ASA-PID controller, three different typical transfer functions were tested, and three existing typical tuning methods of PID controller parameters, including the Ziegler-Nichols method (ZN),the genetic algorithm (GA),and the simulated annealing (SA), were adopted for comparison. The simulation results showed that the ASA-PID controller can be used to control different objects and has better performance compared with the ZN-PID and GA-PID controllers, and comparable performance compared with the SA-PID controller.

文摘Applying the parametric derivation method, Peierls energy and Peierls stress are calculated with a non-sinusoidal force law in the lattice theory, while the results obtained by the power-series expansion according to sinusoidal law can be deduced as a limiting case of non- sinusoidal law. The simplified expressions of Peierls energy and Peierls stress are obtained for the limit of wide and narrow. Peierls energy and Peierls stress decrease monotonically with the factor of modification of force law. Present results can be used expediently for prediction of the correct order of magnitude of Peierls stress for materials.

文摘We developed an HPLC method for analysis of the monosaccharide composition of fucoidans. The fucoidan was hydrolyzed into monosaccharides with 2 mol/L trifluoroacetic acid. Using ribose as the internal standard, the monosaecharide derivatives, obtained with 1-Phenyl-3-methyl-5- pyrazolone (PMP), were separated by reverse-phase HPLC using a gradient elution process, and monitored by ultraviolet detection at 245 nm. In the concentration range of 0.1-2.0 mmol/L, the peak area of each monosaccharide had a good linear relationship with its concentration (r^2〉0.998). The average recoveries of mannose, rhamnose, glucuronic acid, glucose, galactose, xylose, and fucose were 86.2%, 95.1%, 62.5%, 102.0%, 94.8%, 66.6%, and 105.1%, respectively. This method was accurate and had good reproducibility and could be used to determine the monosaccharide contents of fucoidans.
