This article describes the effects of some factors on the tip clearance flow in axial linear turbine cascades. The measurements of the total pressure loss coefficient are made at the cascade outlets by using a five-hole probe at exit Mach numbers of 0.10, 0.14 and 0.19. At each exit Mach number, experiments are performed at the tip clearance heights of 1.0%, 1.5%, 2.0%, 2.5% and 3.0% of the blade height. The effects of the non-uniform tip clearance height of each blade in the pitchwise direction are also studied. The results show that at a given tip clearance height, generally, total pressure loss rises with exit Mach numbers proportionally. At a fixed exit Mach number, the total pressure loss augments nearly proportionally as the tip clearance height increases. The increased tip clearance heights in the tip regions of two adjacent blades are to be blame for the larger clearance loss of the center blade. Compared to the effects of the tip clearance height, the effects of the exit Mach number and the pitchwise variation of the tip clearance height on the cascade total pressure loss are so less significant to be omitted. 展开更多

A centrifugal fan with the high speed and compact dimensions is studied numerically and experimentally. The centrifugal fan consists of a shrouded impeller rotating at 34 000 r/min with a small tip clearance 0.7 mm to the fixed outer casing. Computational models with/without the tip clearance are built and the κ-ω shear stress transport (SST) turbulence model and the unstructured mesh are applied to the numerical simulation for unsteady solutions. The overall performance is measured on a standard experimental bench and the major flow feature of each component inside the centrifugal fan is numerically investigated. In the presence of the tip clearance due to the difference of static pressure between leading and trailing edges of the clearance, i. e. , leading and trailing edges of the impeller, a strong return flow exists inside the clearance passage and re-circulates the main stream inside the impeller passage, and produces the strong flow interaction, thus changing the flow field and influencing the overall performance. 展开更多

The automobile engine pump is an important part of the automobile cooling system,and has a direct influence on the engine performance.Based on the SST k-ωturbulence model,unsteady numerical simulation for an automobile engine pump with different tip clearances was carried out by Fluent.To study the flow field characteristics and pressure fluctuation,the characteristics of secondary flow distribution in volute are also analyzed.The result shows that the pressure fluctuation characteristics of the flow field show obvious periodic variation at different levels of tip clearances.The peak value of pressure fluctuation at each monitoring point is dependent on the blade frequency.At the same time,with the increase of the tip clearance,the pressure fluctuation in the blade and volute is gradually increased,while the pressure fluctuation at the tip is reduced clearance.The pressure gradient in the pump also varies periodically with the rotation of the impeller.With the increase of the tip clearance,the pressure of the impeller,volute and tip clearance is gradually decreased.There are secondary flow vortexes inside the impeller,volute outlet and volute section.With the increase of tip clearance,the vortex intensity in the impeller channel is weakened,and the vortex strength at the volute outlet is intensified.On the cross section of the volute,the morphology of most vortexes has insignificant changes,but the vortex intensity decreased. 展开更多

The system damping and dynamic characteristics can be further improved by properly increasing the damping coefficient ζ h. For a special hydraulic damping structure, an arciform damping clearance often used in FCS, a mathematical model has been established for fluid flow using the theory of laminar flow in the clearance of parallel plates. Analytical calculations are made for fluid flow in the arciform clearance and relational expression is deduced for flow rate along the arciform cleaance height, pressure difference, maximum arciform clearance height, the flow rate for the fluid flow in arciform clearance as well, and its simplified formula is obtained by using the theory of hydrodynamics and the curve-fitting method. This paper consists of two sections:the first section focuses on the theoretical analysis by using the simplified mathematical model and the second section mainly describes experimental analysis. The simplified formula is corrected with experimental results by considerig various boundary conditions of the damping clearance. Experimental results show that this study of arciform damping clearance is reliable and practical. 展开更多

Compared with conventional straight cascade, blade positive curving eliminates the separation line of the upper passage vortex, and leads the secondary vortex to change from close separation to open separation, while blade negative curving effects merely the positions of singular points and the intensities and scales of vortex. 展开更多

Experiment and numerical simulation technique are used to investigate the tip leakage flow in an axial fan with tip clearance at the design condition. The flow field in the tip region of fan is measured using a PDA (Particle Dynamics Analysis) system. The flow is surveyed across the whole passage at fifteen axial locations (from the 100% axial chord in front of the leading edge to the 100% axial chord behind the trailing edge), mainly focusing on the outer 90% blade span. Both experiment measurement and numerical simulation indicates the leakage flow originated from the tip clearance along the chord rolls up into three dimensional spiral structure to form leakage flow vortex. The interaction of leakage flow and main flow will produce the low velocity zone, and block the flow. The leakage flow almost occupies the most part of flow passage behind the trailing edge. 展开更多

Variable nozzle turbine (VNT) has become a popular variable geometry turbine (VGT) technology for the diesel engine application. Nozzle clearance, which can't be avoided on the hub and shroud side of the VNT turbine due to the pivoting stators, can lead to turbine performance deterioration. However, its mechanism is still not clear. In this paper, numerical investigation, which is validated by experiment, is carried out to study the mechanism of the nozzle clearance's effect on the turbine performance. Firstly, performance of the mixed flow turbine with fixed nozzle clearances tested on flow bench. Performance of the tested turbine with the same nozzle clearance is numerically simulated. The numerical result agrees well with the test data, which proves correct of the numerical method. Then the turbine performance with different nozzle clearances is numerically analyzed. The research showed that with nozzle clearance, flow loss in the nozzle increases at first and it reaches the maximum value when the clearance ratio is 5%. Flow at the exit of the nozzle becomes less uniform with nozzle clearance. The negative incidence angle of the rotor also increases with nozzle clearance and leads to more incidence angle loss in the rotor. The low energy fluid formed in the nozzle due to the nozzle clearance migrates from hub to shroud side in the rotor, which is another main reason for the rotor's performance degradation. The present research exposed the mechanism of the dramatically decrease of the turbine performance with nozzle clearance: (a) The loss associated with the nozzle leakage increases with the nozzle clearance; (b) The flow loss grows up quickly in the rotor due to the incidence angle loss and migration of the low energy fluid from hub to shroud side. 展开更多

In order to study influence of tongue clearance on the hydraulic performance of double support vortex pump,three dimensional flow model with symmetric variable size tongue clearance was established by changing section parameter of tongue clearance,and applied to numerically simulate the steady inner flow in a vortex pump based on fixed working conditions and impeller through ANSYS FLUENT.The numerical results show the influence of tongue channel with two sections(non-uniform and uniform sections)on flow field characteristics in vortex pump.Firstly,the variation of tongue channel section changes the vortex structure distribution in circumferential flow channel.Specifically the spiral forward vortex structure in the circumferential direction shifts to large radius side with increasing tongue width.Secondly,the circumferential velocity gradient and axial pressure gradient both diminish with the increase of the tongue section,and the inlet/outlet pressure difference and velocity distribution also reduce with increasing tongue channel section.Finally,for vortex pump with non-uniform section of tongue channel,the head diminishes and the efficiency remains constant approximately with the increase of the tongue width,while the head and the efficiency both diminish for uniform section of tongue channel. 展开更多

为探索超高转速下微尺度转静间隙剪切流动及热特性,本文进行了直径D=50 mm,转速n=0~6×10^(4) r/min,间隙比δ=0.0023,偏心率ε=0.62工况下转静间隙全向压力与气动热温升分布实验研究。通过复测和转轴轴心轨迹实时监控获得修正后的... 为探索超高转速下微尺度转静间隙剪切流动及热特性,本文进行了直径D=50 mm,转速n=0~6×10^(4) r/min,间隙比δ=0.0023,偏心率ε=0.62工况下转静间隙全向压力与气动热温升分布实验研究。通过复测和转轴轴心轨迹实时监控获得修正后的转静间隙尺度和偏心率。结果表明,微米尺度间隙耦合超高转速下,间隙气膜压力随时间呈现周期性分布规律且最大间隙区域的压力脉动幅度大于最小间隙。中心截面气膜压力沿周向呈现正弦分布趋势,但微尺度耦合超高转速使得最大正压值和最大负压值发生的区域更加靠近。有限长度转静间隙内的压力受到自作用轴向压差下端泄效应的影响,气膜压力沿轴向由中心截面向轴端逐渐降低。转速n>3×10^(4) r/min工况下,转静间隙剪切流气动热效应开始变得显著,到n=6×10^(4) r/min工况下,间隙气膜最大温升可达35℃。由于间隙两端受限情形不同,沿轴线方向最大压力和气动热温升位于中轴线偏向电机一侧区域附近且沿两侧逐渐降低。本文发现转静间隙气动热温升沿周向几乎相等,与已发表的研究呈现不同的规律。 展开更多

扩张间隙分布对压气机性能及流场结构的作用机理研究

为了探究非平行式转子叶尖间隙结构对压气机性能的影响,首先研究不同转子叶尖间隙值对压气机性能及流场结构的影响,得到较优间隙值,然后在设计间隙值和较优间隙值的基础上进行改型,提出3种扩张间隙分布方案,以及扩张间隙分布对压气机性... 为了探究非平行式转子叶尖间隙结构对压气机性能的影响,首先研究不同转子叶尖间隙值对压气机性能及流场结构的影响,得到较优间隙值,然后在设计间隙值和较优间隙值的基础上进行改型,提出3种扩张间隙分布方案,以及扩张间隙分布对压气机性能及流场结构的作用机理。结果表明,当转子叶尖间隙为0.5τ时,压气机的稳定裕度改进量较大,在近失速点压气机性能较优越,近失速点的流场结构相对较好,故0.5τ方案(P2)为较优间隙值;若将平行间隙分布P2改为扩张间隙分布D1,D2和D3方案后,转子压力面附近低能流体涡团得到抑制,吸力面尾缘附近低速区也得到了进一步吹除,径向潜流所带来的负面影响被进一步削弱;相比P2方案,D1,D2和D3方案在98%叶高处的增压比分别提高了1.6%,1.9%和2.4%,流量拓宽比分别增加了3.18%,8.56%和6.20%,稳定裕度改进量分别提高了0.59%,1.45%,1.55%,峰值效率改进量基本相差不大。研究结果可为叶尖间隙的优化改进提供理论依据。 展开更多

目的观察气道廓清术联合高流量湿化氧疗在卒中相关性肺炎患者气管切开术后康复治疗中的应用效果。方法将50例气管切开术后的卒中相关性肺炎患者随机分为观察组和对照组,每组25例。两组均给予脑卒中及肺炎标准药物治疗及常规护理;对照组... 目的观察气道廓清术联合高流量湿化氧疗在卒中相关性肺炎患者气管切开术后康复治疗中的应用效果。方法将50例气管切开术后的卒中相关性肺炎患者随机分为观察组和对照组,每组25例。两组均给予脑卒中及肺炎标准药物治疗及常规护理;对照组给予高流量湿化氧疗,观察组在对照组基础上给予气道廓清术。比较两组临床疗效、临床症状评分、炎症指标[白细胞计数、中性粒细胞百分比、C反应蛋白(CRP)、降钙素原(PCT)]、膈肌运动度、膈肌厚度及拔管成功率。结果观察组治疗总有效率及拔管成功率高于对照组(P均<0.05)。两组治疗后咳嗽、咳痰、发热症状评分及白细胞计数、中性粒细胞百分比、CRP、PCT均较治疗前降低,且观察组治疗后低于对照组(P均<0.05)。观察组治疗后膈肌运动度及膈肌厚度高于治疗前及治疗后对照组(P均<0.05)。结论气道廓清术联合高流量湿化氧疗用于行气管切开术的卒中相关性肺炎患者效果较好,能够更有效地减轻咳嗽、咳痰等症状,降低炎症水平,改善膈肌运动功能和肺功能,提高拔管成功率。 展开更多

静态推靠机械式垂钻工具动静盘阀设计及缝隙流分析

为解决深井、超深井等钻井过程中复杂工况下防斜打直的技术难点,提出了可在高温、强振条件下经济、安全、可靠使用的静态推靠机械式垂钻工具的研制思路,计算了其关键组件动静盘阀组的摩阻力,采用有限元法分析了环阀间隙的流动,基于井眼... 为解决深井、超深井等钻井过程中复杂工况下防斜打直的技术难点,提出了可在高温、强振条件下经济、安全、可靠使用的静态推靠机械式垂钻工具的研制思路,计算了其关键组件动静盘阀组的摩阻力,采用有限元法分析了环阀间隙的流动,基于井眼高低边快速关断响应规律设计了环形阀的结构及流道,并使用全尺寸试验台架开展了ϕ177.8 mm静态推靠机械式垂钻工具地面水力台架试验。研究表明:为减小盘阀摩擦面积,将其设计为2层组合,上部设计异形孔和凸台,下部设计异形结构的旁流道;采用硬质合金材料整体成型技术,上下盘阀间隙控制在0.5 mm,上下盘阀凸台高度均控制在0.25 mm;地面台架试验结果表明,动静盘阀组导向分流正常,密封保压性能指标达到了预期设计要求。研究结果可为静态推靠机械式垂钻工具结构的设计优化提供依据。 展开更多

The flow field structure within the clearances of turbomachinery is complex and diverse, exhibiting high-dimensional nonlinearity. How to accurately extract the main structures that affect the internal flow within the turbine from the complex clearance flow has always been a key issue. To explore the impact of the dynamic structure of the clearance flow on the mainstream region in a centrifugal pump, this study combines the dynamic mode decomposition (DMD) method to conduct a thorough analysis of the velocity and pressure pulsation frequencies in the multi-physics fields within the clearance. The study has identified the main characteristic structures under different physical conditions in the clearance and has established the relationship between the characteristic structure frequencies in different physical fields and the impeller frequency. The research indicates that the internal flow within the clearance affects the occurrence of vortices in the volute. Under design conditions, the velocity field within the clearance is primarily influenced by high-order harmonic frequencies of the impeller, and the pressure field is mainly affected by low-order harmonic frequencies of the impeller. This reflects the crucial influence of impeller frequency and inlet flow on the coherent structures within the clearance flow. The research results offer new insights and methods for analyzing complex internal flows in large turbomachinery. 展开更多
