The traditional A^(*)algorithm exhibits a low efficiency in the path planning of unmanned surface vehicles(USVs).In addition,the path planned presents numerous redundant inflection waypoints,and the security is low,wh...The traditional A^(*)algorithm exhibits a low efficiency in the path planning of unmanned surface vehicles(USVs).In addition,the path planned presents numerous redundant inflection waypoints,and the security is low,which is not conducive to the control of USV and also affects navigation safety.In this paper,these problems were addressed through the following improvements.First,the path search angle and security were comprehensively considered,and a security expansion strategy of nodes based on the 5×5 neighborhood was proposed.The A^(*)algorithm search neighborhood was expanded from 3×3 to 5×5,and safe nodes were screened out for extension via the node security expansion strategy.This algorithm can also optimize path search angles while improving path security.Second,the distance from the current node to the target node was introduced into the heuristic function.The efficiency of the A^(*)algorithm was improved,and the path was smoothed using the Floyd algorithm.For the dynamic adjustment of the weight to improve the efficiency of DWA,the distance from the USV to the target point was introduced into the evaluation function of the dynamic-window approach(DWA)algorithm.Finally,combined with the local target point selection strategy,the optimized DWA algorithm was performed for local path planning.The experimental results show the smooth and safe path planned by the fusion algorithm,which can successfully avoid dynamic obstacles and is effective and feasible in path planning for USVs.展开更多
Radio antenna arrays have many advantages for astronomical observations,such as high resolution,high sensitivity,multi-target simultaneous observation,and flexible beam formation.Problems surrounding key indices,such ...Radio antenna arrays have many advantages for astronomical observations,such as high resolution,high sensitivity,multi-target simultaneous observation,and flexible beam formation.Problems surrounding key indices,such as sensitivity enhancement,scanning range extension,and sidelobe level suppression,need to be solved urgently.Here,we propose a sparse optimization scheme based on a genetic algorithm for a 64-array element planar radio antenna array.As optimization targets for the iterative process of the genetic algorithm,we use the maximum sidelobe levels and beamwidth of multiple cross-section patterns that pass through the main beam in three-dimensions,with the maximum sidelobe levels of the patterns at several different scanning angles.Element positions are adjusted for iterations,to select the optimal array configuration.Following sparse layout optimization,the simulated 64-element planar radio antenna array shows that the maximum sidelobe level decreases by 1.79 dB,and the beamwidth narrows by 3°.Within the scan range of±30°,after sparse array optimization,all sidelobe levels decrease,and all beamwidths narrow.This performance improvement can potentially enhance the sensitivity and spatial resolution of radio telescope systems.展开更多
An improved version of the sparse A^(*)algorithm is proposed to address the common issue of excessive expansion of nodes and failure to consider current ship status and parameters in traditional path planning algorith...An improved version of the sparse A^(*)algorithm is proposed to address the common issue of excessive expansion of nodes and failure to consider current ship status and parameters in traditional path planning algorithms.This algorithm considers factors such as initial position and orientation of the ship,safety range,and ship draft to determine the optimal obstacle-avoiding route from the current to the destination point for ship planning.A coordinate transformation algorithm is also applied to convert commonly used latitude and longitude coordinates of ship travel paths to easily utilized and analyzed Cartesian coordinates.The algorithm incorporates a hierarchical chart processing algorithm to handle multilayered chart data.Furthermore,the algorithm considers the impact of ship length on grid size and density when implementing chart gridification,adjusting the grid size and density accordingly based on ship length.Simulation results show that compared to traditional path planning algorithms,the sparse A^(*)algorithm reduces the average number of path points by 25%,decreases the average maximum storage node number by 17%,and raises the average path turning angle by approximately 10°,effectively improving the safety of ship planning paths.展开更多
In the field of calculating the attack area of air-to-air missiles in modern air combat scenarios,the limitations of existing research,including real-time calculation,accuracy efficiency trade-off,and the absence of t...In the field of calculating the attack area of air-to-air missiles in modern air combat scenarios,the limitations of existing research,including real-time calculation,accuracy efficiency trade-off,and the absence of the three-dimensional attack area model,restrict their practical applications.To address these issues,an improved backtracking algorithm is proposed to improve calculation efficiency.A significant reduction in solution time and maintenance of accuracy in the three-dimensional attack area are achieved by using the proposed algorithm.Furthermore,the age-layered population structure genetic programming(ALPS-GP)algorithm is introduced to determine an analytical polynomial model of the three-dimensional attack area,considering real-time requirements.The accuracy of the polynomial model is enhanced through the coefficient correction using an improved gradient descent algorithm.The study reveals a remarkable combination of high accuracy and efficient real-time computation,with a mean error of 91.89 m using the analytical polynomial model of the three-dimensional attack area solved in just 10^(-4)s,thus meeting the requirements of real-time combat scenarios.展开更多

Energy storage power plants are critical in balancing power supply and demand.However,the scheduling of these plants faces significant challenges,including high network transmission costs and inefficient inter-device ...Energy storage power plants are critical in balancing power supply and demand.However,the scheduling of these plants faces significant challenges,including high network transmission costs and inefficient inter-device energy utilization.To tackle these challenges,this study proposes an optimal scheduling model for energy storage power plants based on edge computing and the improved whale optimization algorithm(IWOA).The proposed model designs an edge computing framework,transferring a large share of data processing and storage tasks to the network edge.This architecture effectively reduces transmission costs by minimizing data travel time.In addition,the model considers demand response strategies and builds an objective function based on the minimization of the sum of electricity purchase cost and operation cost.The IWOA enhances the optimization process by utilizing adaptive weight adjustments and an optimal neighborhood perturbation strategy,preventing the algorithm from converging to suboptimal solutions.Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed scheduling model maximizes the flexibility of the energy storage plant,facilitating efficient charging and discharging.It successfully achieves peak shaving and valley filling for both electrical and heat loads,promoting the effective utilization of renewable energy sources.The edge-computing framework significantly reduces transmission delays between energy devices.Furthermore,IWOA outperforms traditional algorithms in optimizing the objective function.展开更多

It primarily includes two modified methods: one is novel adaptive probabilities of crossover and mutation, the other is truncated selection approach. This algorithm has been validated to be superior to the simple genetic algorithm (SGA) by a complicated binary testing function. Then the proposed algorithm is applied to optimizing the planar retrodirective array to reduce the cost of the hardware. The fitness function is discussed in the optimization example. After optimization, the sparse planar retrodirective antenna array keeps excellent retrodirectivity, while the array architecture has been simplified by 34%. The optimized antenna array can replace uniform full array effectively. Results show that this work will gain more engineering benefits in practice.展开更多
Offboard active decoys(OADs)can effectively jam monopulse radars.However,for missiles approaching from a particular direction and distance,the OAD should be placed at a specific location,posing high requirements for t...Offboard active decoys(OADs)can effectively jam monopulse radars.However,for missiles approaching from a particular direction and distance,the OAD should be placed at a specific location,posing high requirements for timing and deployment.To improve the response speed and jamming effect,a cluster of OADs based on an unmanned surface vehicle(USV)is proposed.The formation of the cluster determines the effectiveness of jamming.First,based on the mechanism of OAD jamming,critical conditions are identified,and a method for assessing the jamming effect is proposed.Then,for the optimization of the cluster formation,a mathematical model is built,and a multi-tribe adaptive particle swarm optimization algorithm based on mutation strategy and Metropolis criterion(3M-APSO)is designed.Finally,the formation optimization problem is solved and analyzed using the 3M-APSO algorithm under specific scenarios.The results show that the improved algorithm has a faster convergence rate and superior performance as compared to the standard Adaptive-PSO algorithm.Compared with a single OAD,the optimal formation of USV-OAD cluster effectively fills the blind area and maximizes the use of jamming resources.展开更多

Sparse large-scale multi-objective optimization problems(SLMOPs)are common in science and engineering.However,the large-scale problem represents the high dimensionality of the decision space,requiring algorithms to tr...Sparse large-scale multi-objective optimization problems(SLMOPs)are common in science and engineering.However,the large-scale problem represents the high dimensionality of the decision space,requiring algorithms to traverse vast expanse with limited computational resources.Furthermore,in the context of sparse,most variables in Pareto optimal solutions are zero,making it difficult for algorithms to identify non-zero variables efficiently.This paper is dedicated to addressing the challenges posed by SLMOPs.To start,we introduce innovative objective functions customized to mine maximum and minimum candidate sets.This substantial enhancement dramatically improves the efficacy of frequent pattern mining.In this way,selecting candidate sets is no longer based on the quantity of nonzero variables they contain but on a higher proportion of nonzero variables within specific dimensions.Additionally,we unveil a novel approach to association rule mining,which delves into the intricate relationships between non-zero variables.This novel methodology aids in identifying sparse distributions that can potentially expedite reductions in the objective function value.We extensively tested our algorithm across eight benchmark problems and four real-world SLMOPs.The results demonstrate that our approach achieves competitive solutions across various challenges.展开更多
To address the issues of low accuracy and high false positive rate in traditional Otsu algorithm for defect detection on infrared images of wind turbine blades(WTB),this paper proposes a technique that combines morpho...To address the issues of low accuracy and high false positive rate in traditional Otsu algorithm for defect detection on infrared images of wind turbine blades(WTB),this paper proposes a technique that combines morphological image enhancement with an improved Otsu algorithm.First,mathematical morphology’s differential multi-scale white and black top-hat operations are applied to enhance the image.The algorithm employs entropy as the objective function to guide the iteration process of image enhancement,selecting appropriate structural element scales to execute differential multi-scale white and black top-hat transformations,effectively enhancing the detail features of defect regions and improving the contrast between defects and background.Afterwards,grayscale inversion is performed on the enhanced infrared defect image to better adapt to the improved Otsu algorithm.Finally,by introducing a parameter K to adjust the calculation of inter-class variance in the Otsu method,the weight of the target pixels is increased.Combined with the adaptive iterative threshold algorithm,the threshold selection process is further fine-tuned.Experimental results show that compared to traditional Otsu algorithms and other improvements,the proposed method has significant advantages in terms of defect detection accuracy and reducing false positive rates.The average defect detection rate approaches 1,and the average Hausdorff distance decreases to 0.825,indicating strong robustness and accuracy of the method.展开更多
Effective path planning is crucial for mobile robots to quickly reach rescue destination and complete rescue tasks in a post-disaster scenario.In this study,we investigated the post-disaster rescue path planning probl...Effective path planning is crucial for mobile robots to quickly reach rescue destination and complete rescue tasks in a post-disaster scenario.In this study,we investigated the post-disaster rescue path planning problem and modeled this problem as a variant of the travel salesman problem(TSP)with life-strength constraints.To address this problem,we proposed an improved iterated greedy(IIG)algorithm.First,a push-forward insertion heuristic(PFIH)strategy was employed to generate a high-quality initial solution.Second,a greedy-based insertion strategy was designed and used in the destruction-construction stage to increase the algorithm’s exploration ability.Furthermore,three problem-specific swap operators were developed to improve the algorithm’s exploitation ability.Additionally,an improved simulated annealing(SA)strategy was used as an acceptance criterion to effectively prevent the algorithm from falling into local optima.To verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm,the Solomon dataset was extended to generate 27 instances for simulation.Finally,the proposed IIG was compared with five state-of-the-art algorithms.The parameter analysiswas conducted using the design of experiments(DOE)Taguchi method,and the effectiveness analysis of each component has been verified one by one.Simulation results indicate that IIGoutperforms the compared algorithms in terms of the number of rescue survivors and convergence speed,proving the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.展开更多
Reducing casualties and property losses through effective evacuation route planning has been a key focus for researchers in recent years.As part of this effort,an enhanced sparrow search algorithm(MSSA)was proposed.Fi...Reducing casualties and property losses through effective evacuation route planning has been a key focus for researchers in recent years.As part of this effort,an enhanced sparrow search algorithm(MSSA)was proposed.Firstly,the Golden Sine algorithm and a nonlinear weight factor optimization strategy were added in the discoverer position update stage of the SSA algorithm.Secondly,the Cauchy-Gaussian perturbation was applied to the optimal position of the SSA algorithm to improve its ability to jump out of local optima.Finally,the local search mechanism based on the mountain climbing method was incorporated into the local search stage of the SSA algorithm,improving its local search ability.To evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm,the Whale Algorithm,Gray Wolf Algorithm,Improved Gray Wolf Algorithm,Sparrow Search Algorithm,and MSSA Algorithm were employed to solve various test functions.The accuracy and convergence speed of each algorithm were then compared and analyzed.The results indicate that the MSSA algorithm has superior solving ability and stability compared to other algorithms.To further validate the enhanced algorithm’s capabilities for path planning,evacuation experiments were conducted using different maps featuring various obstacle types.Additionally,a multi-exit evacuation scenario was constructed according to the actual building environment of a teaching building.Both the sparrow search algorithm and MSSA algorithm were employed in the simulation experiment for multiexit evacuation path planning.The findings demonstrate that the MSSA algorithm outperforms the comparison algorithm,showcasing its greater advantages and higher application potential.展开更多
With the rapid development of digital information technology,images are increasingly used in various fields.To ensure the security of image data,prevent unauthorized tampering and leakage,maintain personal privacy,and...With the rapid development of digital information technology,images are increasingly used in various fields.To ensure the security of image data,prevent unauthorized tampering and leakage,maintain personal privacy,and protect intellectual property rights,this study proposes an innovative color image encryption algorithm.Initially,the Mersenne Twister algorithm is utilized to generate high-quality pseudo-random numbers,establishing a robust basis for subsequent operations.Subsequently,two distinct chaotic systems,the autonomous non-Hamiltonian chaotic system and the tentlogistic-cosine chaotic mapping,are employed to produce chaotic random sequences.These chaotic sequences are used to control the encoding and decoding process of the DNA,effectively scrambling the image pixels.Furthermore,the complexity of the encryption process is enhanced through improved Joseph block scrambling.Thorough experimental verification,research,and analysis,the average value of the information entropy test data reaches as high as 7.999.Additionally,the average value of the number of pixels change rate(NPCR)test data is 99.6101%,which closely approaches the ideal value of 99.6094%.This algorithm not only guarantees image quality but also substantially raises the difficulty of decryption.展开更多
Lung cancer is among the most frequent cancers in the world,with over one million deaths per year.Classification is required for lung cancer diagnosis and therapy to be effective,accurate,and reliable.Gene expression ...Lung cancer is among the most frequent cancers in the world,with over one million deaths per year.Classification is required for lung cancer diagnosis and therapy to be effective,accurate,and reliable.Gene expression microarrays have made it possible to find genetic biomarkers for cancer diagnosis and prediction in a high-throughput manner.Machine Learning(ML)has been widely used to diagnose and classify lung cancer where the performance of ML methods is evaluated to identify the appropriate technique.Identifying and selecting the gene expression patterns can help in lung cancer diagnoses and classification.Normally,microarrays include several genes and may cause confusion or false prediction.Therefore,the Arithmetic Optimization Algorithm(AOA)is used to identify the optimal gene subset to reduce the number of selected genes.Which can allow the classifiers to yield the best performance for lung cancer classification.In addition,we proposed a modified version of AOA which can work effectively on the high dimensional dataset.In the modified AOA,the features are ranked by their weights and are used to initialize the AOA population.The exploitation process of AOA is then enhanced by developing a local search algorithm based on two neighborhood strategies.Finally,the efficiency of the proposed methods was evaluated on gene expression datasets related to Lung cancer using stratified 4-fold cross-validation.The method’s efficacy in selecting the optimal gene subset is underscored by its ability to maintain feature proportions between 10%to 25%.Moreover,the approach significantly enhances lung cancer prediction accuracy.For instance,Lung_Harvard1 achieved an accuracy of 97.5%,Lung_Harvard2 and Lung_Michigan datasets both achieved 100%,Lung_Adenocarcinoma obtained an accuracy of 88.2%,and Lung_Ontario achieved an accuracy of 87.5%.In conclusion,the results indicate the potential promise of the proposed modified AOA approach in classifying microarray cancer data.展开更多

To expedite the process of achieving an optimalconfiguration of measurement points, this paper presents an optimal configuration scheme for fault locationmeasurement points in DC distribution networks based on an improved particle swarm optimization algorithm.Initially, a measurement point distribution optimization model is formulated, leveraging compressive sensing.The model aims to achieve the minimum number of measurement points while attaining the best compressivesensing reconstruction effect. It incorporates constraints from the compressive sensing algorithm and networkwide viewability. Subsequently, the traditional particle swarm algorithm is enhanced by utilizing the Haltonsequence for population initialization, generating uniformly distributed individuals. This enhancement reducesindividual search blindness and overlap probability, thereby promoting population diversity. Furthermore, anadaptive t-distribution perturbation strategy is introduced during the particle update process to enhance the globalsearch capability and search speed. The established model for the optimal configuration of measurement points issolved, and the results demonstrate the efficacy and practicality of the proposed method. The optimal configurationreduces the number of measurement points, enhances localization accuracy, and improves the convergence speedof the algorithm. Flexible job shop scheduling problem(FJSP)is the core decision-making problem of intelligent manufacturing production management.The Harris hawk optimization(HHO)algorithm,as a typical metaheuristic algorithm,has been...Flexible job shop scheduling problem(FJSP)is the core decision-making problem of intelligent manufacturing production management.The Harris hawk optimization(HHO)algorithm,as a typical metaheuristic algorithm,has been widely employed to solve scheduling problems.However,HHO suffers from premature convergence when solving NP-hard problems.Therefore,this paper proposes an improved HHO algorithm(GNHHO)to solve the FJSP.GNHHO introduces an elitism strategy,a chaotic mechanism,a nonlinear escaping energy update strategy,and a Gaussian random walk strategy to prevent premature convergence.A flexible job shop scheduling model is constructed,and the static and dynamic FJSP is investigated to minimize the makespan.This paper chooses a two-segment encoding mode based on the job and the machine of the FJSP.To verify the effectiveness of GNHHO,this study tests it in 23 benchmark functions,10 standard job shop scheduling problems(JSPs),and 5 standard FJSPs.Besides,this study collects data from an agricultural company and uses the GNHHO algorithm to optimize the company’s FJSP.The optimized scheduling scheme demonstrates significant improvements in makespan,with an advancement of 28.16%for static scheduling and 35.63%for dynamic scheduling.Moreover,it achieves an average increase of 21.50%in the on-time order delivery rate.The results demonstrate that the performance of the GNHHO algorithm in solving FJSP is superior to some existing algorithms.展开更多
A hard problem that hinders the movement of waxy crude oil is wax deposition in oil pipelines.To ensure the safe operation of crude oil pipelines,an accurate model must be developed to predict the rate of wax depositi...A hard problem that hinders the movement of waxy crude oil is wax deposition in oil pipelines.To ensure the safe operation of crude oil pipelines,an accurate model must be developed to predict the rate of wax deposition in crude oil pipelines.Aiming at the shortcomings of the ENN prediction model,which easily falls into the local minimum value and weak generalization ability in the implementation process,an optimized ENN prediction model based on the IRSA is proposed.The validity of the new model was confirmed by the accurate prediction of two sets of experimental data on wax deposition in crude oil pipelines.The two groups of crude oil wax deposition rate case prediction results showed that the average absolute percentage errors of IRSA-ENN prediction models is 0.5476% and 0.7831%,respectively.Additionally,it shows a higher prediction accuracy compared to the ENN prediction model.In fact,the new model established by using the IRSA to optimize ENN can optimize the initial weights and thresholds in the prediction process,which can overcome the shortcomings of the ENN prediction model,such as weak generalization ability and tendency to fall into the local minimum value,so that it has the advantages of strong implementation and high prediction accuracy.展开更多

文摘The traditional A^(*)algorithm exhibits a low efficiency in the path planning of unmanned surface vehicles(USVs).In addition,the path planned presents numerous redundant inflection waypoints,and the security is low,which is not conducive to the control of USV and also affects navigation safety.In this paper,these problems were addressed through the following improvements.First,the path search angle and security were comprehensively considered,and a security expansion strategy of nodes based on the 5×5 neighborhood was proposed.The A^(*)algorithm search neighborhood was expanded from 3×3 to 5×5,and safe nodes were screened out for extension via the node security expansion strategy.This algorithm can also optimize path search angles while improving path security.Second,the distance from the current node to the target node was introduced into the heuristic function.The efficiency of the A^(*)algorithm was improved,and the path was smoothed using the Floyd algorithm.For the dynamic adjustment of the weight to improve the efficiency of DWA,the distance from the USV to the target point was introduced into the evaluation function of the dynamic-window approach(DWA)algorithm.Finally,combined with the local target point selection strategy,the optimized DWA algorithm was performed for local path planning.The experimental results show the smooth and safe path planned by the fusion algorithm,which can successfully avoid dynamic obstacles and is effective and feasible in path planning for USVs.

文摘Radio antenna arrays have many advantages for astronomical observations,such as high resolution,high sensitivity,multi-target simultaneous observation,and flexible beam formation.Problems surrounding key indices,such as sensitivity enhancement,scanning range extension,and sidelobe level suppression,need to be solved urgently.Here,we propose a sparse optimization scheme based on a genetic algorithm for a 64-array element planar radio antenna array.As optimization targets for the iterative process of the genetic algorithm,we use the maximum sidelobe levels and beamwidth of multiple cross-section patterns that pass through the main beam in three-dimensions,with the maximum sidelobe levels of the patterns at several different scanning angles.Element positions are adjusted for iterations,to select the optimal array configuration.Following sparse layout optimization,the simulated 64-element planar radio antenna array shows that the maximum sidelobe level decreases by 1.79 dB,and the beamwidth narrows by 3°.Within the scan range of±30°,after sparse array optimization,all sidelobe levels decrease,and all beamwidths narrow.This performance improvement can potentially enhance the sensitivity and spatial resolution of radio telescope systems.

文摘An improved version of the sparse A^(*)algorithm is proposed to address the common issue of excessive expansion of nodes and failure to consider current ship status and parameters in traditional path planning algorithms.This algorithm considers factors such as initial position and orientation of the ship,safety range,and ship draft to determine the optimal obstacle-avoiding route from the current to the destination point for ship planning.A coordinate transformation algorithm is also applied to convert commonly used latitude and longitude coordinates of ship travel paths to easily utilized and analyzed Cartesian coordinates.The algorithm incorporates a hierarchical chart processing algorithm to handle multilayered chart data.Furthermore,the algorithm considers the impact of ship length on grid size and density when implementing chart gridification,adjusting the grid size and density accordingly based on ship length.Simulation results show that compared to traditional path planning algorithms,the sparse A^(*)algorithm reduces the average number of path points by 25%,decreases the average maximum storage node number by 17%,and raises the average path turning angle by approximately 10°,effectively improving the safety of ship planning paths.

文摘In the field of calculating the attack area of air-to-air missiles in modern air combat scenarios,the limitations of existing research,including real-time calculation,accuracy efficiency trade-off,and the absence of the three-dimensional attack area model,restrict their practical applications.To address these issues,an improved backtracking algorithm is proposed to improve calculation efficiency.A significant reduction in solution time and maintenance of accuracy in the three-dimensional attack area are achieved by using the proposed algorithm.Furthermore,the age-layered population structure genetic programming(ALPS-GP)algorithm is introduced to determine an analytical polynomial model of the three-dimensional attack area,considering real-time requirements.The accuracy of the polynomial model is enhanced through the coefficient correction using an improved gradient descent algorithm.The study reveals a remarkable combination of high accuracy and efficient real-time computation,with a mean error of 91.89 m using the analytical polynomial model of the three-dimensional attack area solved in just 10^(-4)s,thus meeting the requirements of real-time combat scenarios.
文摘To improve the efficiency and accuracy of path planning for fan inspection tasks in thermal power plants,this paper proposes an intelligent inspection robot path planning scheme based on an improved A^(*)algorithm.The inspection robot utilizes multiple sensors to monitor key parameters of the fans,such as vibration,noise,and bearing temperature,and upload the data to the monitoring center.The robot’s inspection path employs the improved A^(*)algorithm,incorporating obstacle penalty terms,path reconstruction,and smoothing optimization techniques,thereby achieving optimal path planning for the inspection robot in complex environments.Simulation results demonstrate that the improved A^(*)algorithm significantly outperforms the traditional A^(*)algorithm in terms of total path distance,smoothness,and detour rate,effectively improving the execution efficiency of inspection tasks.
文摘Reliable Cluster Head(CH)selectionbased routing protocols are necessary for increasing the packet transmission efficiency with optimal path discovery that never introduces degradation over the transmission reliability.In this paper,Hybrid Golden Jackal,and Improved Whale Optimization Algorithm(HGJIWOA)is proposed as an effective and optimal routing protocol that guarantees efficient routing of data packets in the established between the CHs and the movable sink.This HGJIWOA included the phases of Dynamic Lens-Imaging Learning Strategy and Novel Update Rules for determining the reliable route essential for data packets broadcasting attained through fitness measure estimation-based CH selection.The process of CH selection achieved using Golden Jackal Optimization Algorithm(GJOA)completely depends on the factors of maintainability,consistency,trust,delay,and energy.The adopted GJOA algorithm play a dominant role in determining the optimal path of routing depending on the parameter of reduced delay and minimal distance.It further utilized Improved Whale Optimisation Algorithm(IWOA)for forwarding the data from chosen CHs to the BS via optimized route depending on the parameters of energy and distance.It also included a reliable route maintenance process that aids in deciding the selected route through which data need to be transmitted or re-routed.The simulation outcomes of the proposed HGJIWOA mechanism with different sensor nodes confirmed an improved mean throughput of 18.21%,sustained residual energy of 19.64%with minimized end-to-end delay of 21.82%,better than the competitive CH selection approaches.

文摘Energy storage power plants are critical in balancing power supply and demand.However,the scheduling of these plants faces significant challenges,including high network transmission costs and inefficient inter-device energy utilization.To tackle these challenges,this study proposes an optimal scheduling model for energy storage power plants based on edge computing and the improved whale optimization algorithm(IWOA).The proposed model designs an edge computing framework,transferring a large share of data processing and storage tasks to the network edge.This architecture effectively reduces transmission costs by minimizing data travel time.In addition,the model considers demand response strategies and builds an objective function based on the minimization of the sum of electricity purchase cost and operation cost.The IWOA enhances the optimization process by utilizing adaptive weight adjustments and an optimal neighborhood perturbation strategy,preventing the algorithm from converging to suboptimal solutions.Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed scheduling model maximizes the flexibility of the energy storage plant,facilitating efficient charging and discharging.It successfully achieves peak shaving and valley filling for both electrical and heat loads,promoting the effective utilization of renewable energy sources.The edge-computing framework significantly reduces transmission delays between energy devices.Furthermore,IWOA outperforms traditional algorithms in optimizing the objective function.
文摘An improved adaptive genetic algorithm is presented in this paper. It primarily includes two modified methods: one is novel adaptive probabilities of crossover and mutation, the other is truncated selection approach. This algorithm has been validated to be superior to the simple genetic algorithm (SGA) by a complicated binary testing function. Then the proposed algorithm is applied to optimizing the planar retrodirective array to reduce the cost of the hardware. The fitness function is discussed in the optimization example. After optimization, the sparse planar retrodirective antenna array keeps excellent retrodirectivity, while the array architecture has been simplified by 34%. The optimized antenna array can replace uniform full array effectively. Results show that this work will gain more engineering benefits in practice.

文摘Offboard active decoys(OADs)can effectively jam monopulse radars.However,for missiles approaching from a particular direction and distance,the OAD should be placed at a specific location,posing high requirements for timing and deployment.To improve the response speed and jamming effect,a cluster of OADs based on an unmanned surface vehicle(USV)is proposed.The formation of the cluster determines the effectiveness of jamming.First,based on the mechanism of OAD jamming,critical conditions are identified,and a method for assessing the jamming effect is proposed.Then,for the optimization of the cluster formation,a mathematical model is built,and a multi-tribe adaptive particle swarm optimization algorithm based on mutation strategy and Metropolis criterion(3M-APSO)is designed.Finally,the formation optimization problem is solved and analyzed using the 3M-APSO algorithm under specific scenarios.The results show that the improved algorithm has a faster convergence rate and superior performance as compared to the standard Adaptive-PSO algorithm.Compared with a single OAD,the optimal formation of USV-OAD cluster effectively fills the blind area and maximizes the use of jamming resources.

文摘This paper presents a framework for constructing surrogate models for sensitivity analysis of structural dynamics behavior.Physical models involving deformation,such as collisions,vibrations,and penetration,are devel-oped using the material point method.To reduce the computational cost of Monte Carlo simulations,response surface models are created as surrogate models for the material point system to approximate its dynamic behavior.An adaptive randomized greedy algorithm is employed to construct a sparse polynomial chaos expansion model with a fixed order,effectively balancing the accuracy and computational efficiency of the surrogate model.Based on the sparse polynomial chaos expansion,sensitivity analysis is conducted using the global finite difference and Sobol methods.Several examples of structural dynamics are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method in addressing structural dynamics problems.

文摘Sparse large-scale multi-objective optimization problems(SLMOPs)are common in science and engineering.However,the large-scale problem represents the high dimensionality of the decision space,requiring algorithms to traverse vast expanse with limited computational resources.Furthermore,in the context of sparse,most variables in Pareto optimal solutions are zero,making it difficult for algorithms to identify non-zero variables efficiently.This paper is dedicated to addressing the challenges posed by SLMOPs.To start,we introduce innovative objective functions customized to mine maximum and minimum candidate sets.This substantial enhancement dramatically improves the efficacy of frequent pattern mining.In this way,selecting candidate sets is no longer based on the quantity of nonzero variables they contain but on a higher proportion of nonzero variables within specific dimensions.Additionally,we unveil a novel approach to association rule mining,which delves into the intricate relationships between non-zero variables.This novel methodology aids in identifying sparse distributions that can potentially expedite reductions in the objective function value.We extensively tested our algorithm across eight benchmark problems and four real-world SLMOPs.The results demonstrate that our approach achieves competitive solutions across various challenges.

文摘To address the issues of low accuracy and high false positive rate in traditional Otsu algorithm for defect detection on infrared images of wind turbine blades(WTB),this paper proposes a technique that combines morphological image enhancement with an improved Otsu algorithm.First,mathematical morphology’s differential multi-scale white and black top-hat operations are applied to enhance the image.The algorithm employs entropy as the objective function to guide the iteration process of image enhancement,selecting appropriate structural element scales to execute differential multi-scale white and black top-hat transformations,effectively enhancing the detail features of defect regions and improving the contrast between defects and background.Afterwards,grayscale inversion is performed on the enhanced infrared defect image to better adapt to the improved Otsu algorithm.Finally,by introducing a parameter K to adjust the calculation of inter-class variance in the Otsu method,the weight of the target pixels is increased.Combined with the adaptive iterative threshold algorithm,the threshold selection process is further fine-tuned.Experimental results show that compared to traditional Otsu algorithms and other improvements,the proposed method has significant advantages in terms of defect detection accuracy and reducing false positive rates.The average defect detection rate approaches 1,and the average Hausdorff distance decreases to 0.825,indicating strong robustness and accuracy of the method.

文摘Effective path planning is crucial for mobile robots to quickly reach rescue destination and complete rescue tasks in a post-disaster scenario.In this study,we investigated the post-disaster rescue path planning problem and modeled this problem as a variant of the travel salesman problem(TSP)with life-strength constraints.To address this problem,we proposed an improved iterated greedy(IIG)algorithm.First,a push-forward insertion heuristic(PFIH)strategy was employed to generate a high-quality initial solution.Second,a greedy-based insertion strategy was designed and used in the destruction-construction stage to increase the algorithm’s exploration ability.Furthermore,three problem-specific swap operators were developed to improve the algorithm’s exploitation ability.Additionally,an improved simulated annealing(SA)strategy was used as an acceptance criterion to effectively prevent the algorithm from falling into local optima.To verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm,the Solomon dataset was extended to generate 27 instances for simulation.Finally,the proposed IIG was compared with five state-of-the-art algorithms.The parameter analysiswas conducted using the design of experiments(DOE)Taguchi method,and the effectiveness analysis of each component has been verified one by one.Simulation results indicate that IIGoutperforms the compared algorithms in terms of the number of rescue survivors and convergence speed,proving the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

文摘Reducing casualties and property losses through effective evacuation route planning has been a key focus for researchers in recent years.As part of this effort,an enhanced sparrow search algorithm(MSSA)was proposed.Firstly,the Golden Sine algorithm and a nonlinear weight factor optimization strategy were added in the discoverer position update stage of the SSA algorithm.Secondly,the Cauchy-Gaussian perturbation was applied to the optimal position of the SSA algorithm to improve its ability to jump out of local optima.Finally,the local search mechanism based on the mountain climbing method was incorporated into the local search stage of the SSA algorithm,improving its local search ability.To evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm,the Whale Algorithm,Gray Wolf Algorithm,Improved Gray Wolf Algorithm,Sparrow Search Algorithm,and MSSA Algorithm were employed to solve various test functions.The accuracy and convergence speed of each algorithm were then compared and analyzed.The results indicate that the MSSA algorithm has superior solving ability and stability compared to other algorithms.To further validate the enhanced algorithm’s capabilities for path planning,evacuation experiments were conducted using different maps featuring various obstacle types.Additionally,a multi-exit evacuation scenario was constructed according to the actual building environment of a teaching building.Both the sparrow search algorithm and MSSA algorithm were employed in the simulation experiment for multiexit evacuation path planning.The findings demonstrate that the MSSA algorithm outperforms the comparison algorithm,showcasing its greater advantages and higher application potential.

文摘With the rapid development of digital information technology,images are increasingly used in various fields.To ensure the security of image data,prevent unauthorized tampering and leakage,maintain personal privacy,and protect intellectual property rights,this study proposes an innovative color image encryption algorithm.Initially,the Mersenne Twister algorithm is utilized to generate high-quality pseudo-random numbers,establishing a robust basis for subsequent operations.Subsequently,two distinct chaotic systems,the autonomous non-Hamiltonian chaotic system and the tentlogistic-cosine chaotic mapping,are employed to produce chaotic random sequences.These chaotic sequences are used to control the encoding and decoding process of the DNA,effectively scrambling the image pixels.Furthermore,the complexity of the encryption process is enhanced through improved Joseph block scrambling.Thorough experimental verification,research,and analysis,the average value of the information entropy test data reaches as high as 7.999.Additionally,the average value of the number of pixels change rate(NPCR)test data is 99.6101%,which closely approaches the ideal value of 99.6094%.This algorithm not only guarantees image quality but also substantially raises the difficulty of decryption.

文摘Lung cancer is among the most frequent cancers in the world,with over one million deaths per year.Classification is required for lung cancer diagnosis and therapy to be effective,accurate,and reliable.Gene expression microarrays have made it possible to find genetic biomarkers for cancer diagnosis and prediction in a high-throughput manner.Machine Learning(ML)has been widely used to diagnose and classify lung cancer where the performance of ML methods is evaluated to identify the appropriate technique.Identifying and selecting the gene expression patterns can help in lung cancer diagnoses and classification.Normally,microarrays include several genes and may cause confusion or false prediction.Therefore,the Arithmetic Optimization Algorithm(AOA)is used to identify the optimal gene subset to reduce the number of selected genes.Which can allow the classifiers to yield the best performance for lung cancer classification.In addition,we proposed a modified version of AOA which can work effectively on the high dimensional dataset.In the modified AOA,the features are ranked by their weights and are used to initialize the AOA population.The exploitation process of AOA is then enhanced by developing a local search algorithm based on two neighborhood strategies.Finally,the efficiency of the proposed methods was evaluated on gene expression datasets related to Lung cancer using stratified 4-fold cross-validation.The method’s efficacy in selecting the optimal gene subset is underscored by its ability to maintain feature proportions between 10%to 25%.Moreover,the approach significantly enhances lung cancer prediction accuracy.For instance,Lung_Harvard1 achieved an accuracy of 97.5%,Lung_Harvard2 and Lung_Michigan datasets both achieved 100%,Lung_Adenocarcinoma obtained an accuracy of 88.2%,and Lung_Ontario achieved an accuracy of 87.5%.In conclusion,the results indicate the potential promise of the proposed modified AOA approach in classifying microarray cancer data.

文摘The escalating deployment of distributed power sources and random loads in DC distribution networks hasamplified the potential consequences of faults if left uncontrolled. To expedite the process of achieving an optimalconfiguration of measurement points, this paper presents an optimal configuration scheme for fault locationmeasurement points in DC distribution networks based on an improved particle swarm optimization algorithm.Initially, a measurement point distribution optimization model is formulated, leveraging compressive sensing.The model aims to achieve the minimum number of measurement points while attaining the best compressivesensing reconstruction effect. It incorporates constraints from the compressive sensing algorithm and networkwide viewability. Subsequently, the traditional particle swarm algorithm is enhanced by utilizing the Haltonsequence for population initialization, generating uniformly distributed individuals. This enhancement reducesindividual search blindness and overlap probability, thereby promoting population diversity. Furthermore, anadaptive t-distribution perturbation strategy is introduced during the particle update process to enhance the globalsearch capability and search speed. The established model for the optimal configuration of measurement points issolved, and the results demonstrate the efficacy and practicality of the proposed method. The optimal configurationreduces the number of measurement points, enhances localization accuracy, and improves the convergence speedof the algorithm. These findings validate the effectiveness and utility of the proposed approach.
文摘Flexible job shop scheduling problem(FJSP)is the core decision-making problem of intelligent manufacturing production management.The Harris hawk optimization(HHO)algorithm,as a typical metaheuristic algorithm,has been widely employed to solve scheduling problems.However,HHO suffers from premature convergence when solving NP-hard problems.Therefore,this paper proposes an improved HHO algorithm(GNHHO)to solve the FJSP.GNHHO introduces an elitism strategy,a chaotic mechanism,a nonlinear escaping energy update strategy,and a Gaussian random walk strategy to prevent premature convergence.A flexible job shop scheduling model is constructed,and the static and dynamic FJSP is investigated to minimize the makespan.This paper chooses a two-segment encoding mode based on the job and the machine of the FJSP.To verify the effectiveness of GNHHO,this study tests it in 23 benchmark functions,10 standard job shop scheduling problems(JSPs),and 5 standard FJSPs.Besides,this study collects data from an agricultural company and uses the GNHHO algorithm to optimize the company’s FJSP.The optimized scheduling scheme demonstrates significant improvements in makespan,with an advancement of 28.16%for static scheduling and 35.63%for dynamic scheduling.Moreover,it achieves an average increase of 21.50%in the on-time order delivery rate.The results demonstrate that the performance of the GNHHO algorithm in solving FJSP is superior to some existing algorithms.
文摘A hard problem that hinders the movement of waxy crude oil is wax deposition in oil pipelines.To ensure the safe operation of crude oil pipelines,an accurate model must be developed to predict the rate of wax deposition in crude oil pipelines.Aiming at the shortcomings of the ENN prediction model,which easily falls into the local minimum value and weak generalization ability in the implementation process,an optimized ENN prediction model based on the IRSA is proposed.The validity of the new model was confirmed by the accurate prediction of two sets of experimental data on wax deposition in crude oil pipelines.The two groups of crude oil wax deposition rate case prediction results showed that the average absolute percentage errors of IRSA-ENN prediction models is 0.5476% and 0.7831%,respectively.Additionally,it shows a higher prediction accuracy compared to the ENN prediction model.In fact,the new model established by using the IRSA to optimize ENN can optimize the initial weights and thresholds in the prediction process,which can overcome the shortcomings of the ENN prediction model,such as weak generalization ability and tendency to fall into the local minimum value,so that it has the advantages of strong implementation and high prediction accuracy.

文摘Multi-source information can be obtained through the fusion of infrared images and visible light images,which have the characteristics of complementary information.However,the existing acquisition methods of fusion images have disadvantages such as blurred edges,low contrast,and loss of details.Based on convolution sparse representation and improved pulse-coupled neural network this paper proposes an image fusion algorithm that decompose the source images into high-frequency and low-frequency subbands by non-subsampled Shearlet Transform(NSST).Furthermore,the low-frequency subbands were fused by convolutional sparse representation(CSR),and the high-frequency subbands were fused by an improved pulse coupled neural network(IPCNN)algorithm,which can effectively solve the problem of difficulty in setting parameters of the traditional PCNN algorithm,improving the performance of sparse representation with details injection.The result reveals that the proposed method in this paper has more advantages than the existing mainstream fusion algorithms in terms of visual effects and objective indicators.
