This paper reports a small-scale study of needs analysis of leamers of Turkish as a foreign language at University of Florida. Needs analysis is described in the context of foreign language learning as "a systematic and ongoing process of gathering information about students' needs and preferences, interpreting the information and then making course decisions in order to meet those needs" (Graves, 2000, p. 74). Because foreign language instruction has become much more learner-centered in recent years, needs analysis is a must for effective learning processes to occur (LONG, 1999, 2005; Kikuchi & Apple, 2006). In this context, the purpose of this pilot study is to gather information about the students' needs in learning Turkish at Center for European Studies, where less commonly taught languages, including Czech, Greek, Hungarian and Polish are offered. Drawing on interview data compiled from a number of studies (Tarone & Yule, 1989; LI & Richards, 1995), the findings indicate that the students' needs may be grouped under four categories including their linguistic needs, their objectives in learning Turkish, learning resources, psychological and sociological factors that may impact their learning experiences. In the light of the interview findings, certain suggestions as to how to teach Turkish effectively are made. 展开更多

The present investigation aims to explore the existence of differences of beliefs about learning English held by Chinese non-English major university students and their teachers of English in the southwest of China. Two questionnaires were used to collect the data. Chi-square (Z2) tests were used to analyze the quantitative data from both students' and teachers' questionnaires. The results of the chi-square (Z2) tests revealed that 34 out of 44 (plus 2 additional) items of beliefs varied significantly between teachers and students. 展开更多

Chinese nurses’ perceived impact of international educational experiences and cultural beliefs following a 1-year study abroad program: an exploratory study

Objectives:To examine the perceived impact of international educational experiences and cultural beliefs before and after completing a 1-year Masters of Science in Nursing program.Methods:An exploratory study was conducted among Chinese nurses studying abroad in a private medium-sized university in the United States.The 27-item electronic pre-survey was administered within 1 week of starting the program and the post-survey was administered 1 year later at the completion of the program.Results:Majority of participants(n=25)were female,23–36 years of age.Findings revealed that the perceived impact of international educational experiences assessed at the start of the program was similar to the perceived impact measured at the end of the 1-year program,suggesting that the students learned and experienced what they anticipated.There was a significant impact on cultural beliefs from the start of the program compared with the end of the program suggesting that a 1-year study abroad program does influence cultural beliefs.Conclusions:Understanding what is important to provide in a study abroad program and providing the educational experiences identified by students as impactful are avenues to help host universities best develop their programs.Findings suggested that the 1-year program can influence foreign students’cultural beliefs,yet the professional and personal impact of this change warrants further study. 展开更多

Language learning beliefs play a very important role in influencing learners' attitudes,motivations and also shape their experiences and actions in classroom.Successful learners develop insightful beliefs about language learning process,their own abilities and the use of effective strategies.However language learning beliefs can be different because of individual learner differences and contextual diversity.This study aimed at exploring beliefs about language learning held by pre-service teachers.159 pre-service teachers majoring in English at Qianan Normal College for Nationalities participated in the study.A 34-item questionnaire adapted from Horwitz's(1987) BALLI was used to collect the data.The results were reported and discussed from the following five aspects:1) beliefs about foreign language aptitude,2) beliefs about difficulty of language learning,3) beliefs about nature of language learning,4) beliefs about learning and communication strategies,and 5) beliefs about motivation and expectations.Suggestions on pedagogical implications and for future research were also indicated. 展开更多

目的针对红安绣活对青年群体吸引力弱、传承效率低等问题,以青年群体对红安绣活的学习者需求为导向,研究红安绣活的数字化传承路径。方法通过实地对非遗传承人的访谈与文献研究,从外部触摸层、中间行为层,以及内部感知层三个层面对红安... 目的针对红安绣活对青年群体吸引力弱、传承效率低等问题,以青年群体对红安绣活的学习者需求为导向,研究红安绣活的数字化传承路径。方法通过实地对非遗传承人的访谈与文献研究,从外部触摸层、中间行为层,以及内部感知层三个层面对红安绣活进行文化分析。从“学习金字塔”角度解构传承步骤并将其数字化为APP功能,设计并发放相对应的Kano模型问卷,从青年群体的学习者需求出发,对APP功能进行分类,最后将其应用到红安绣活学习APP界面设计中。结果将青年群体特征纳入文化传承中,创新性地通过学习金字塔与Kano模型的角度描述、转译学习者需求,并将学习者需求通过APP界面设计方式进行数字化转化。结论从学习者需求的视角构建了红安绣活数字化传承页面,为其活态化发展提供了借鉴意义。 展开更多

目的探究基于需要理论的层级护理结合家庭赋权方案在慢性阻塞性肺疾病(COPD)家庭氧疗中的应用效果。方法选择2018年4月至2021年6月我院收治的150例COPD家庭氧疗患者为研究对象,根据随机数字表法将其分为对照组、观察组,各75例。对照组... 目的探究基于需要理论的层级护理结合家庭赋权方案在慢性阻塞性肺疾病(COPD)家庭氧疗中的应用效果。方法选择2018年4月至2021年6月我院收治的150例COPD家庭氧疗患者为研究对象,根据随机数字表法将其分为对照组、观察组,各75例。对照组接受常规护理,观察组在对照组基础上加施基于需要理论的层级护理结合家庭赋权方案。比较两组的干预效果。结果观察组的氧疗依从性高于对照组(P<0.05)。干预后,观察组的Champion健康信念量表(CHBMS)评分高于对照组(P<0.05)。干预后,观察组的家庭照顾者照顾能力量表(FCTI)评分低于对照组(P<0.05)。干预后,观察组的气道阻力(Raw)、气道平均压(MPaw)低于对照组(P<0.05)。结论基于需要理论的层级护理结合家庭赋权方案用于COPD家庭氧疗患者护理中,不仅能提高患者的氧疗依从性及健康信念,还能提升家庭照顾者的照顾能力,促进呼吸力学参数恢复。 展开更多

雾化吸入患儿家属对雾化器清洁消毒的知信行现状及影响因素分析

目的 了解雾化吸入患儿家属对雾化器清洁消毒相关知识认知、信念、行为、需求现况,并分析其影响因素,为实施个性化的护理干预措施提供理论依据。方法 便利选取2023年10月至11月广东省东莞市妇幼保健院250名雾化吸入治疗的住院患儿家属... 目的 了解雾化吸入患儿家属对雾化器清洁消毒相关知识认知、信念、行为、需求现况,并分析其影响因素,为实施个性化的护理干预措施提供理论依据。方法 便利选取2023年10月至11月广东省东莞市妇幼保健院250名雾化吸入治疗的住院患儿家属为研究对象进行横断面研究,调查患儿家属对雾化器清洁消毒相关知识认知、信念、行为、需求现况及相关影响因素。结果 雾化吸入患儿家属对雾化器清洁消毒知识、信念、行为及量表总得分分别为(19.19±5.74)、(28.42±4.61)、(16.96±4.10)、(64.56±12.24)分,48.6%的家属认为需要雾化器清洁消毒相关知识,40.8%的家属希望通过当面模型演示的途径获取相关知识。多元线性回归分析结果显示,病情了解程度、压力程度是雾化器清洁消毒知识的影响因素,患儿性别、家庭总月收入、医疗费用支付形式、有无接受过相关知识告知/培训及压力程度是行为的影响因素,压力程度是知信行总分的影响因素(P<0.05)。结论 雾化吸入患儿家属雾化器清洁消毒的态度较积极,但相关知识欠缺,行为有待改善,相关知识需求强烈。护理工作者应根据患儿家属需求加强对其健康教育,制订个性化干预措施,以提高家属对雾化器清洁消毒知信行水平,降低交叉感染风险,促进患儿康复。 展开更多

目的探讨健康信念模型(HBM)对多发性骨髓瘤(MM)患者信息需求的影响,以提高临床治疗效果。方法本研究采用便利抽样法,选取2020年4月至2024年4月空军军医大学第一附属医院血液内科老年患者为研究对象,调查患者的一般资料、恶性血液病患者... 目的探讨健康信念模型(HBM)对多发性骨髓瘤(MM)患者信息需求的影响,以提高临床治疗效果。方法本研究采用便利抽样法,选取2020年4月至2024年4月空军军医大学第一附属医院血液内科老年患者为研究对象,调查患者的一般资料、恶性血液病患者信息需求、疾病感知、一般自我效能和社会支持情况。结果简易版疾病感知问卷(BIPQ)评分、中文版恶性血液病患者信息需求量表(HINQ)评分、社会支持量表(SSRS)评分、自我效能感量表(GSES)评分和烟酒管理均为HINQ的显著影响因素。BIPQ(HR=2.153,95%CI:1.014~7.638,P=0.013)、HINQ(HR=2.056,95%CI:2.004~6.730,P=0.045)、SSRS(HR=2.409,95%CI:1.000~5.814,P=0.025)、GSES(HR=1.221,95%CI:1.032~10.136,P=0.019)和烟酒管理(HR=2.459,95%CI:1.072~5.643,P=0.034)是HBM对MM患者信息需求的独立危险因素。结论HBM增强了MM患者的疾病认知和自我效能感,进而提升其治疗效果和整体健康水平。 展开更多

目的了解有宗教信仰住院患者的文化照护需求,为制定相关管理制度及人员培训方案提供依据。方法便利选取2011年1月至2012年3月上海某大学附属三级甲等医院有宗教信仰的的患者200例,采用自行设计的"有宗教信仰的住院患者文化照护需... 目的了解有宗教信仰住院患者的文化照护需求,为制定相关管理制度及人员培训方案提供依据。方法便利选取2011年1月至2012年3月上海某大学附属三级甲等医院有宗教信仰的的患者200例,采用自行设计的"有宗教信仰的住院患者文化照护需求调查问卷"进行调查。结果排名前10位的有宗教信仰住院患者的文化照护需求是:(1)尊重患者的宗教信仰;(2)护士知晓宗教禁忌;(3)护士知晓避免触犯禁忌的方法;(4)隐私保护;(5)有维护宗教信仰患者权利的相关制度;(6)护士知晓宗教的生死观;(7)护士知晓宗教对治疗、用药的要求;(8)护士有基本的宗教常识;(9)做好饮食照护;(10)护士知晓宗教社交礼仪。不同宗教信仰的住院患者在尊重、治疗、饮食、环境、培训等5方面的文化照护需求差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05);不同性别患者在尊重和环境两方面的文化照护需求差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论有宗教信仰的住院患者存在诸多文化照护需求,医疗卫生机构应制定尊重患者宗教信仰的相关制度,加强医护人员的培训并提升其文化照护的能力。 展开更多
