Objective:To explore the application effect of video assessment method in clinical nurses’nursing operation skills.Method:To select 58 nurses who participated in the individual soldier standard in the children’s hospital in 2019 and 2020 as the research objects,among which the nurses who participated in the individual soldier standard in 2019 were the nurses who participated in the individual soldier standard in 2019 and 2020.A total of 29 people in the first batch were set as the control group,using traditional assessment methods.In 2020,the second batch of 29 nurses who participated in the individual soldier standard reached the experimental group.Using the video assessment method,there was no significant difference in general information between the two groups(P>0.05).After the assessment,the scores,coping with work pressure,and proactiveness of the two groups of research subjects were compared.Results:The experimental group’s nursing operation assessment scores,coping with work pressure,and proactiveness were significantly better than those of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of the video assessment method improves the passing rate of nurses’operational skills examination,enhances nurses’initiative in learning,reduces examination pressure,and can be accurately,timely,and safely applied to clinical nursing work,which is worthy of study and promotion. 展开更多

Unlike general education,vocational education aims to nurture skilled people for various sectors in the society.The development of students’problem analysis and problem-solving skills is crucial.As an important part of the vocational education system,skills competitions are considered a“booster”for improving the quality of teaching in vocational institutions.This paper examines the problem-solving skills of students in preparation for skills competition.First of all,we introduce China’s education policies and conduct a review of early scholars’views,followed by a discussion on the specific problems faced in the design of the entry for skills competition and an exploration of the process of enhancing students’problem-solving skills around these problems;we then propose several suggestions for vocational institutions to enhance their participation in skills competitions.Skills competitions provide a“special stage”for students in vocational institutions to show their abilities.The question of how this“stage”can be utilized to better improve students’abilities is worth exploring in different fields. 展开更多

Objective: To explore the application effect of flipped classroom combined with problem-based learning teaching method in clinical skills teaching of standardized training for resident doctors of traditional Chinese Medicine. Methods: The study used the experimental control method. The study lasted from September to November 2022. The subjects of this study were 49 students of standardized training for resident doctors of traditional Chinese Medicine from grades 2020, 2021 and 2022 of Dazhou integrated TCM & Western Medicine Hospital. They were randomly divided into experiment group (25) and control group (24). The experiment group adopted flipped classroom combined with problem-based learning teaching method, and the control group adopted traditional teaching method. The teaching content was 4 basic clinical skill projects, including four diagnoses of traditional Chinese Medicine, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, dressing change procedure, acupuncture and massage. The evaluation method was carried out by comparing the students’ performance and a self-designed questionnaire was used to investigate the students’ evaluation of the teaching method. Results: The test scores of total scores in the experimental group (90.12 ± 5.89) were all higher than those in the control group (81.47 ± 7.96) (t = 4.53, P P Conclusions: The teaching process of the flipped classroom combined with problem-based learning teaching method is conducive to improving the efficiency of classroom teaching, cultivating students’ self-learning ability, and enhancing students’ willingness to learn. 展开更多

Aims and objectives: To explore any changes in nurses’ skills at communicating with residents with dementia disease when using the validation method, as observed in one-to-one videotaped conversations. Background: Communication difficulties due to cognitive impairment among residents with dementia disease may complicate care situations. Training can improve nurses’ communication skills and increase care quality. The validation method aims to facilitate communication with residents with dementia disease through empathic and confirmatory approaches. Evaluations of the validation method have primarily focused on the residents’ perspective, and reports on nurses’ experiences are sparse. Improved communication and relationships with residents after validation method training have been described previously. Videotaped data could provide additional information about these earlier results. Design: A descriptive qualitative design. Methods: Eight nurses participated in a year of validation method training, including videotaped conversations with eleven residents. Videotapes with at least five months between the first and last recording were analysed and compared qualitatively. Results: The analysis revealed an overall pattern: nurses’ movements within and between various paths when improving their communication skills. This was based on three sub-patterns: from controlling communication towards developing attentiveness in communication, from ambiguous communication towards developing coherence in communication, and from being open and attentive towards having a refined attuned communication. Conclusions: All nurses developed their communication skills during the programme, albeit to different degrees. The findings are in congruence with the experiences described by nurses, and so it is reasonable to believe that the programme helped to improve the nurses’ skills in communicating with residents with dementia disease. Relevance to clinical practice: A validation method training programme could give nurses the possibility to develop their skills in communicating with residents with dementia disease. 展开更多

As is universally acknowledged,educators have endeavored for ages to seek the more effective teaching method.Then action research has become a tool which is frequently applied to the teaching practice aiming to locate the teaching mode satisfactory to both teachers and students.The English majors are required to pass the TEM-4 exam when they are sophomores.It is essential for them to acquire the effective learning skills from reading classes.But it seems that vocabulary and grammar study—so called the traditional teaching method prove boring to students.Therefore,the tapestry approach is put forward.But the question is though the tapestry approach stimulates students’interest,can it can improve their English level?In order to figure out the result,two classes will be chosen in this research—one is controlled class,the other is experimental class.The traditional teaching method and the tapestry approach will be used in these two classes respectively.The experiment will last one semester.The students will be tested on two same TEM-4 papers at the beginning and at the end of the semester.The data will be collected for comparison.If the experimental class get the higher scores in the TEM-4 paper,it demonstrates that the tapestry approach is successful in balancing the need for interests and the need for English improvement. 展开更多

Effectiveness of experiential teaching method on the development of nursing students’skill competence:a systematic review and meta-analysis 被引量:2

Objective:Skill competence is essential for nursing students and experiential teaching method has become increasingly popular in China’s nursing education.To systematically evaluate the effects of experiential teaching method on the development of nursing students’skill competence,and to provide evidence for nursing education.Methods:The China National Knowledge Infrastructure,VIP,Wanfang Data,PubMed,and Web of Science databases were searched from their inception until November 28,2019.We screened the studies according to inclusion and exclusion criteria,extracted the data,and assessed the quality.Then,a meta-analysis was conducted.Results:Totally 15 studies were included,and 1,633 nursing students were analyzed by Review Manager5.3 and Stata15.1 software.The results show that the experiential teaching method can significantly improve nursing students’nursing skills such as training(SMD=1.05,95%CI:0.95–1.16,P=0.000),learning interest(ES=0.93,95%CI:0.79–1.06),ability to analyze and solve problems(ES=0.75,95%CI:0.55–0.94),ability to judge and innovative thinking(ES=1.01,95%CI:0.77–1.25),abilities of understanding and perception(ES=0.59,95%CI:0.34–0.83),and teaching satisfaction(ES=1.26,95%CI:1.13–1.4).Conclusions:The results suggest that the experiential teaching method is more effective for the nursing students’skill competence than traditional teaching in China.However,due to the heterogeneity and bias risk,a large sample and high-quality studies are needed in future to confirm its effectiveness. 展开更多

目的探讨“学生考官”教学法联合线上任务在远程麻醉学技能培训中的作用。方法选择2021年10月—2022年12月在重庆医科大学第一临床学院进行麻醉学临床见习的381名临床医学专业学生为研究对象,按照教学方式的不同分为试验组(n=192)和对照... 目的探讨“学生考官”教学法联合线上任务在远程麻醉学技能培训中的作用。方法选择2021年10月—2022年12月在重庆医科大学第一临床学院进行麻醉学临床见习的381名临床医学专业学生为研究对象,按照教学方式的不同分为试验组(n=192)和对照组(n=189)。试验组采用“学生考官”教学法联合线上任务的教学方式,对照组采用传统线下面对面的教学方式。比较2组学生课堂小测试和技能操作的得分,以及对2种教学方法的评价。结果试验组学生技能操作平均成绩(90.9±3.2)分高于对照组[(88.3±4.5)分],差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);对教学方法的评价中,试验组和对照组在提高团队合作能力方面的比较差异有统计学意义(90.1%vs.83.1%,P<0.05)。结论“学生考官”教学法联合线上任务通过不断强化技能操作步骤和加强学生之间的协作,提高了学生的技能操作能力和团队合作能力,有助于提高远程技能操作培训的教学效果。 展开更多

PBL教学法联合技能考核在妇科肿瘤教学中的效果研究

目的研究在妇科肿瘤的带教中实施以问题为基础的教学法(problem-based learning,PBL)联合技能考核的价值。方法选取2022年1月―2023年3月在重庆医科大学附属第一医院妇科实习的54名实习生,以随机抽取扑克牌的形式分为观察组和对照组,各2... 目的研究在妇科肿瘤的带教中实施以问题为基础的教学法(problem-based learning,PBL)联合技能考核的价值。方法选取2022年1月―2023年3月在重庆医科大学附属第一医院妇科实习的54名实习生,以随机抽取扑克牌的形式分为观察组和对照组,各27名。观察组实行PBL教学法联合技能考核教学,对照组采用常规教学法,对比2组实习生的考核成绩(理论成绩和实操成绩)和带教满意度。结果观察组的总体带教满意度为96.30%,高于对照组的70.37%,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。带教前,2组的理论成绩和实操成绩比较,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05);带教后,观察组的理论成绩和实操成绩分别为(86.78±2.34)分和(91.34±2.24)分,均高于对照组[(77.56±3.34)分和(81.45±2.27)分],差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论在妇科肿瘤带教中实施PBL教学法联合技能考核可以提高实习生的带教满意度,同时可以使带教后实习生的临床带教理论及实操考核成绩均得到提高。 展开更多
