New ultra-lightweight sludge-red mud ceramics(ULS-RMC) were prepared by red mud(RM),clay and dried sewage sludge(DSS).The properties and mechanism of RM in the preparation of ULS-RMC were discussed.The chemical compon...New ultra-lightweight sludge-red mud ceramics(ULS-RMC) were prepared by red mud(RM),clay and dried sewage sludge(DSS).The properties and mechanism of RM in the preparation of ULS-RMC were discussed.The chemical components,thermal properties and mineral phases of RM were determined by energy dispersive X-ray(EDX),differential scanning calorimetry/thermal gravimetric analysis(DSC/TGA) and X-ray diffraction(XRD),respectively.Constant dosage of DSS to clay and different amounts of RM were utilized in the preparation of ULS-RMC.Physical properties test(bulk density,grain density,water absorption and expansion ratio),XRD and scanning electron microscopy(SEM) were employed to characterize the ULS-RMC.The results show that RM exhibits high hydroscopic property and good water-retention property,and bloating property and fluxing property of RM are caused by abound of gaseous components and flux,respectively.The two chemical properties are utilized to discuss the mineral phases and microstructures differences between ULSC and ULS-RMC.展开更多

In the present study, fourteen species of imidazolium-based ionic liquids were added into the NaOH (aq) to remove the mercaptans. The influences of anion species and cation alkyl chain length of the imidazolium-based ionic liquids on the performance of mercaptan removal from light oils have been discussed. The efficiency of extraction for mercaptans exhibited the order of [Ac]- 〉 [OH]- [Br]- 〉 [BF4]-. After sulfonated cobalt phthalocyanine (CoPcS) being supported on these solid bases, the catalytic performance of these catalysts was evaluated by means of mercaptan oxidation reaction. The samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), CO2 temperature-programmed desorption (CO2-TPD), FTIR spectroscopy, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). Investigation was focused on the effect of Fe2O3 on activity, crystal structure, basicity, and stability of the catalyst and also on the role of Fe2O3 in the mercaptan oxidation processes. Test results have shown that the Fe2O3/MgO/Al2O3- CoPcS catalyst has a higher initial activity and a much longer service life than the MgO/Al2O3-CoPcS catalyst. The increased types of basic sites coupled with an enhanced oxidation ability resulted from the addition of Fe2O3 have contributed to the improvement of the catalytic activity of the MgO/Al2O3-CoPcS catalyst.展开更多

To promote the visualisation and informatisation of the construction process of precast foamed lightweight concrete wallboards(PFLCWs),from the analysis of the construction requirements of PFLCWs,three key constructio...To promote the visualisation and informatisation of the construction process of precast foamed lightweight concrete wallboards(PFLCWs),from the analysis of the construction requirements of PFLCWs,three key construction technologies based on building information modelling(BIM),namely,parameterised modelling for the PFLCW layout design,drawing generation to draw the PFLCW layout and quantity statistics for extracting PFLCW quantities,are proposed.Then,a reinforced concrete(RC)frame infilled with PFLCW is considered the test model to verify the feasibility of the aforementioned technologies.The results show that PFLCW layout design can be accomplished rapidly and visually using parameterised modelling technology.The PFLCW layout diagram can be generated directly using drawing generation technology.The proposed quantity statistics technology enables the automatic export of PFLCW bills of quantities.The built parameterised model helps construction workers rapidly and intuitively understand the specific layout details of PFLCWs.Moreover,the generated layout drawing and the bills of quantities based on the parameterised model can guide the production and on-site installation of PFLCWs.The research conclusions can serve as a practical guide and technical support for PFLCW engineering applications.展开更多

Also, the country that accumulated a history of immigration over decades have been promoted while continuously changing the integration policies for immigrants. The immigration into home country such as the married immigrant women, etc. is constantly increasing in South Korea that had a homogeneous culture. While, it is continued to the overseas movement of young people looking for opportunities in foreign rather than domestic. In South Korea, the multi-cultural families are increasing together with the immigration of foreign workers, the marriage immigrants, etc. in accordance with the globalization of capital and labor, and the multi-cultural society is being formed in accordance with the influx of alien culture and various religious. In this paper, it explored the trends and the future outlook for the multi-cultural workforce in these dimensions. Also, in a multi-cultural society, it suggested the implications and the future assignments for the new changes in the education & training and the employment in order to improve the quality of life and to use as the production entities of multi-cultural workforce.展开更多
