A novel QoS sat...Due to the diversified demands of quality of service(QoS) in volume multimedia application, QoS routings for multiservice are becoming a research hotspot in low earth orbit(LEO) satellite networks. A novel QoS satellite routing algorithm for multi-class traffic is proposed. The goal of the routing algorithm is to provide the distinct QoS for different traffic classes and improve the utilization of network resources. Traffic is classified into three classes and allocated priorities based on their QoS requirements, respectively. A priority queuing mechanism guarantees the algorithm to work better for high-priority classes. In order to control the congestion, a blocking probability analysis model is built up based on the Markov process theory. Finally, according to the classification link-cost metrics, routings for different classes are calculated with the distinct QoS requirments and the status of network resource. Simulations verify the performance of the routing algorithm at different time and in different regions, and results demonstrate that the algorithm has great advantages in terms of the average delay and the blocking probability. Meanwhile, the robustness issue is also discussed.展开更多

After analyzing several instances of typical Internet multimedia traffic captured in a campus network, this paper defines a new set of QoS classes according to the difference in downstream/upstream rates and proposes a modified K-SVD method that can automatically search for underlying structural patterns in the QoS characteristic space. We define bagQoS-words as the set of specific QoS local patterns, which can be expressed by core QoS characteristics. After the dictionary is constructed with an excess quantity of bag-QoSwords, Locality Constrained Feature Coding(LCFC) features of QoS classes are extracted. By associating a set of characteristics with a percentage of error, an objective function is formulated. In accordance with the modified K-SVD, Internet multimedia traffic can be classified into a corresponding QoS class with a linear Support Vector Machines(SVM) clas-sifier. This study extends the current models to provide more insight into the role of intellectual capital in audit firms. The aim of this study is to develop a quantitative model to measure audit firms' intellectual capital. The suggested model can be used to explore the relationship between the intellectual capital in audit firms and audit quality. The model combines the main components of intellectual capital (human capital, structural capital, and relational capital). The suggested model provides a tool that may help to better manage the intellectual capital in audit firms. As this is a theoretical study, a number of hypotheses are presented for testing in the future.展开更多
