There have been many scholars who have studied the Hakka dialect, but the study of the Hakka dialect is one-sided. Based on the work of predecessors, this paper conducts a comprehensive study of the history of the Hakka dialect, its characteristics in phonetics, tone, vocabulary, and grammar, as well as its status in modern society and the issues of its dissemination and inheritance.
