To specify both structural aspects and behavioral aspects of design patterns, we introduce traditional predicate logic combined with Alien's interval-based temporal logic as our theoretical foundation. Moreover, we take the Visitor pattern as an example to illustrate how to specify design patterns to support recovery of design patterns besides structural category. More and more architecture, engineering, and construction companies are adopting new technologies in software design to help accelerate an... The use of information technology (IT) in construction is expanding rapidly. More and more architecture, engineering, and construction companies are adopting new technologies in software design to help accelerate and accurately carry out their functions. Based on a research study carried out in Southern Nevada with a questionnaire survey of 54 construction-related firms, this study aims to compare the types and extent of IT use by architects, engineers, and contractors. It also explores the level of IT skills possessed by professionals working in the industry. The study found that architects mostly used design software whereas engineers and contractors used scheduling and estimating software. All of the respondents believed that IT helped to improve their work productivity. The majority of the respondents thought that IT is useful for Construction Management (CM) students: engineers and architects thought that CM students should take more scheduling and estimating software courses and contractors thought that they should take more scheduling and quantity take-off software courses. 展开更多

Based on the finite element theory this paper designs adding process of insulation material EPS in the thermal insulation layer, and establishes the radiation heat conduction model of EPS material, finally obtains the solid heat conduction equation. Finally this paper uses ANSYS software to do simulation on the strength and temperature of EPS construction, and evaluates the quality of construction works, which provides technical reference for the design of integrated thermal insulation buildings. 展开更多

There has been much research on how to develop the reusable test components, but few fall on how to estimate the reusability of test conlponents for automated testing. The purpose of this paper is to present a method of minimum reusability estimation for automated testing based on the return on investment (ROI) model. Minimum reusability is a benchmark for the whole automated testing process. If the reusability in one test execution is less than the minimum reusability, some new strategies must be adopted ill the next test execution to increase the reusability. Only by this way, we can reduce unnecessary costs and finally get a return on the investment of automated testing. 展开更多
