The coefficients of the simplest normal forms of resonant double Hopf bifurcation and the nonlinear transformations in terms of the original system coefficients were given explicitly. The nonlinear transformations were used for reducing the lower- and higher-order normal forms, and the rank of system matrix was used to determine the coefficient of normal form which could be reduced. These make the gained normal form simpler than the traditional one. A general program was compiled with Mathematica. This program can compute the simplest normal form of resonant double Hopf bifurcation and the non-resonant form up to the 7th order.展开更多

This method can efficiently filter out the compact desired chirp signal, with a consequence that the cyclically uncorrelated interferences and stationary (colored) Gaussian noise are greatly suppressed in the Opt- FrFT domain. This improves the MSE minimization cyclic beamformer by reducing effectively the Opt-FrFY domain signal-noise cross terms in the presence of finite data length de-correlation operation. Simulation results show that the new method works well under a wide range of signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and signal-to-interference ratio (SIR).展开更多

The wall-layer mode (mode W) and the trapped-layer mode (mode T) both occur in the compressible boundary layer where there exists a temperature adjustment layer near the upper edge. The mode T has the largest growth rate at a lower Gortler number while the mode W dominates at larger G/Srtler numbers. These two modes are both responsible for the flow transition in the hypersonic flows especially when Gortler number is in the high value range in which the crossover of these two modes takes place. Such high Gortler numbers are virtually far beyond the neutral regime. The nonparallel base flows, therefore, cease to influence the stability behavior of the Gortler modes. The effects of the Mach number on the multiple Gortler modes are studied within a chosen Mach number of 0.95, 2, 4 and 6. When the flow Mach number is sufficiently large, e.g., Ma ≥4, the growth rate crossover of the mode T and mode W occurs both in the conventional G-β map as well as on the route downstream for a fixed wavelength disturbance. Four particular regions (Region T, T-W, W-T and W) around the crossover point are highlighted with the marching analysis and the result matches that of the local analysis. The initial disturbance of a normal mode maintains the shape in its corresponding dominating region while a shape-transformation occurs outside this region.展开更多

In order to adapt to the practical application, some approximations have been introduced to eliminate the infinite singularity of the parameters in the compressed region by adjusting the principle sketch out of the plane. Firstly, the general parameter equations of the nonsingular cloak with arbitrary cross-section are deduced strictly by the mathematical method based on coordinate transformations in the cylindrical coordinate system. Secondly, taking into account the discontinuous property of the curve functions of arbitrary polygons, a supplementary investigation is given for the nonsingular cloak with arbitrary polygonal cross-section. The transformations in the supplementary study are carried out in the Cartesian coordinate system directly and referred to the coordinates of the polygon's vertices rather than the curve function of the polygon. Last, the invisibility effect of the corresponding cloak is studied by full-wave simulations based on the finite element method. The applicable scope of the 2D internal-external cloak is expanded greatly by the methods and results given in this paper.展开更多
