Based on this, this paper discusses the manifestations of intercultural communication barriers, analyzes various factors affecting the intercultural communication ability of foreign students, and puts forward corresponding improvement strategies, namely the factors that affect the intercultural communication ability of overseas students. To improve the intercultural communication ability of international students, it is necessary to strengthen their intercultural communication awareness and make them more sensitive and respectful to different cultures, improve teachers’ cross-cultural teaching quality and ability;improve the teaching mode of international students, introduce more practical activities of cross-cultural communication, and enhance the practical operation ability of international students, in order to cultivate the intercultural communication ability of foreign students and promote their adaptation and development in the multi-cultural environment.展开更多
