The results showed that 1) The development of the intensity of grandchildren care and social activities of older adults showed a linear downward trend over time;2) The initial level of grandchildren-care intensity of older adults positively predicted the initial level and rate of decline of their social activities;3) The rate of decline of grandchildren-care intensity of older adults positively predicted the rate of decline of their social activities. This study provides a theoretical basis for how the intensity of grandchildren care affects older adults’ social activity, and helps older adults cope more actively with population ageing.展开更多
