The interference management and access control for open and closed femtocells in two-tier HetNets were focused. The contributions consist of two parts. Firstly, in order to reduce the uplink interference caused by MUEs (macrocell user equipments) at closed femtocells, an incentive mechanism to implement interference mitigation was proposed. It encourages femtoeells that work with closed-subscriber-group (CSG) to allow the interfering MUEs access in but only via uplink, which can reduce the interference significantly and also benefit the marco-tier. The interference issue was then studied in open-subscriber-group (OSG) femtocells from the perspective of handover and mobility prediction. Inbound handover provides an alternative solution for open femtocells when interference turns up, while this accompanies with PCI (physical cell identity) confusion during inbound handover. To reduce the PCI confusion, a dynamic PCI allocation scheme was proposed, by which the high handin femtocells have the dedicated PCI while the others share the reuse PCIs. A Markov chain based mobility prediction algorithm was designed to decide whether the femtoeell status is with high handover requests. Numerical analysis reveals that the UL interference is managed well for the CSG femtocell and the PCI confusion issue is mitigated greatly in OSG femtocell compared to the conventional approaches.

A real seamless wireless mobile environment is only realized by considering vertical and horizontal handoffs together. One of the major design issues in heterogeneous wireless networks is the support of Vertical Handoff (VHO). VHO occurs when a multi-interface enabled mobile terminal changes its Point of Attachment (PoA) from one type of wireless access technology to another, while maintaining an active session. In this paper we present a novel multi-criteria VHO algorithm, which chooses the target NAT based on several factors such as user preferences, system parameters, and traf- tic-types with varying Quality of Service (QoS) requirements. Two modules i.e., VHO Neces- sity Estimation (VHONE) module and target NAT selection module, are designed. Both modules utilize several "weighted" users' and system's parameters. To improve the robust- ness of the proposed algorithm, the weighting system is designed based on the concept of fuzzy linguistic variables.

The proposed AIP with the RSA-based proxy signature reduces handover delay time and communication message overhead when the mobile node moves between the heterogeneous networks. It defines new AlP Type Length Value (AlP TLV) in MIH frame format and uses the MIH Information Server (MIHIS) for issuing signature. The MIHIS can generate a signature on behalf of the AAA server and then the signature can he used by mobile node for a pre-authentication. For low handover delay, the proposed AIP performs pre-authentication processes with MIP protocol before layer 2 handover. Also, this paper analyses the performance of the handover and compares with the non-secure MIH.

Operating wireless networks more efficiently by exploiting social relationships between MSN users is an appealing but challenging option for network operators. An MSN-aided content dissemination technique is presented as a potential extension of conventional cellular wireless networks in order to satisfy growing data traffic. By allowing the MSN users to create a self-organized ad hoc network for spontaneously disseminating contents, the network operator may be able to reduce the operational costs and simultaneously achieve an improved network performance. In this paper, we first summarize the basic features of the MSN architecture, followed by a survey of the factors which may affect MSN-aided content dissemination. Using a case study, we demonstrate that one can save resources of the Base Station (BS) while substantially lowering content dissemination delay. Finally, other potential applications of MSN-aided content dissemination are introduced, and a range of lustre challenges are summarized.

First, the authors analyze individual local perception model and dynamics model, set the intersection of all the local perceptions as the region of interest(ROI). The MSN consists of sensors with first-order dynamics and second-order dynamics. Then, the authors design a control strategy to ensure that individuals aggregate at a point in the ROI relying on their local perceptions and the locations of neighbors within their communication scope. The authors describe this situation of aggregation as rendezvous. In addition, the authors introduce artificial potential field to make sensors deploy dispersedly in a bounded range near the ROI,which the authors call dispersed deployment. Finally, the authors prove the stability of the proposed strategies and validate the theoretical results by simulations. This research is applied for the cooperative deployment and data collection of mobile platforms with different dynamics under the condition of inaccurate perception.
文摘提出了一种基于转发概率的动态数据转发策略:FPAD(forwarding probability-based adaptive data deliveryalgorithm).FPAD适用于由不同类型传感器节点构成的可监测不同对象的异构延迟容忍移动传感器网络HDTMSN(heterogeneous delay tolerant mobile sensor network).
