Service modeling offers fundamental guidance to the construction and operation of mobile telecommunication networks. As the domestic LTE networks have been deployed massively, the refined LTE services model needs to be established urgently. In this paper, we firstly extract characteristic parameters of services from statistical data in 3G networks, especially in time, space and user dimension. Secondly, the development trends of LTE services are analyzed. And the refined LTE service model is established. Finally, prediction results of LTE service development in China is given, which could provide effi cient support for networks' optimization and evolution. 展开更多

The goal of web service composition is to choose an optimal scheme according to Quantity of Service (QoS) which selects instances in a distributed network. The networks are clustered with some web services such as ontologies, algorithms and rule engines with similar function and interfaces. In this scheme, web services acted as candidate service construct a distributed model which can't obtain the global services' information. The model is utilized to choose instances according to local QoS information in the progress of service composition. Some QoS matrixes are used to record and compare the instance paths and then choose a better one. Simulation result has proven that our ~pproach has a tradeoff between efficiency and ~quality. 展开更多

Composite service provision in mobile ad hoc networks encounters great challenges and its success rate is not satisfactory because the nodes' locations are dynamic and the nodes maybe unavailable at any time.Composite service is built through the service composition.In mobile ad hoc networks,the factors influencing the success rate of service composition are mainly the number of nodes and the time spent for the composition.The node's failure probability is proportional to the length of time the node exist in the networks.In order to improve the success rate of service composition,we take several measures.First,we split the service requirement into several segments and cluster the nodes,so that the nodes' waiting time for service composition can be reduced.Second,we propose a new node model of "one node contains multiple services" in mobile ad hoc networks.Using this type of nodes model,the number of nodes required for service composition can be reduced.These means can increase the success rate of service composition. 展开更多

As the increasing demand for mobile communications and the shrinking of the coverage of cells, handover mechanism will play an important role in future wireless networks to provide users with seamless mobile communication services. In order to guarantee the user experience, the handover decision should be made timely and reasonably. To achieve this goal, this paper presents a hybrid handover forecasting mechanism, which contains long-term and short-term forecasting models. The proposed mechanism could cooperate with the standard mechanisms, and improve the performance of standard handover decision mechanisms. Since most of the parameters involved are imprecise, fuzzy forecasting model is applied for dealing with predictions of them. The numerical results indicate that the mechanism could significantly decrease the rate of ping-pong handover and the rate of handover failure. 展开更多

Resource scheduling algorithm for ForCES(Forwarding and Control Element Separation) networks need to meet the flexibility,programmability and scalability of node resources.DBC(Deadline Budget Constrain) algorithm relies on users select cost or time priority,then scheduling to meet the requirements of users.However,this priority strategy of users is relatively simple,and cannot adapt to dynamic change of resources,it is inevitable to reduce the QoS.In order to improve QoS,we refer to the economic model and resource scheduling model of cloud computing,use SAL(Service Level Agreement) as pricing strategy,on the basis of DBC algorithm,propose an DABP(Deadline And Budget Priority based on DBC) algorithm for ForCES networks,DABP combines both budget and time priority to scheduling.In simulation and test,we compare the task finish time and cost of DABP algorithm with DP(Deadline Priority) algorithm and BP(Budget Priority) algorithm,the analysis results show that DABP algorithm make the task complete with less cost within deadline,benifical to load balancing of ForCES networks. 展开更多

As the speed of optical access networks soars with ever increasing multiple services, the service-supporting ability of optical access networks suffers greatly from the shortage of service awareness. Aiming to solve this problem, a hierarchy Bayesian model based services awareness mechanism is proposed for high-speed optical access networks. This approach builds a so-called hierarchy Bayesian model, according to the structure of typical optical access networks. Moreover, the proposed scheme is able to conduct simple services awareness operation in each optical network unit(ONU) and to perform complex services awareness from the whole view of system in optical line terminal(OLT). Simulation results show that the proposed scheme is able to achieve better quality of services(Qo S), in terms of packet loss rate and time delay. 展开更多
