Methods: The 28-day mortality data of sepsis patients were obtained from the UK Biobank (486,484 cases), and the metabolite data were from the Canadian Longitudinal Study on Aging (CLSA) cohort (8091 individuals with 1091 metabolites and 309 metabolite ratios), which could be obtained from genome-wide association studies (GWAS). Perform MR analysis using methods such as Inverse Variance Weighted (IVW), MR-Egger regression, Simple Mode, Weighted Median, and Weighted Mode, and conduct heterogeneity, pleiotropy, and sensitivity analyses on the results. Results: Using MR, this study analyzed the causal relationships between 1400 metabolites and 28-day mortality in sepsis. A comprehensive evaluation using five methods—IVW, MR-Egger, Weighted Median, Simple Mode, and Weighted Mode—identified 12 metabolites significantly associated with 28-day mortality in sepsis. Among these, 2-methoxyresorcinol sulfate, 1-(1-enyl-palmitoyl)-2-oleoyl-GPC (p-16:0/18:1), and 1-linoleoyl-2-arachidonoyl-GPC (18:2/20:4n6) were found to have protective effects, while hydroxypalmitoyl sphingomyelin was identified as a risk factor. Conclusions: This study identified several metabolites significantly associated with sepsis-related mortality risk, providing critical insights into their potential as biomarkers and therapeutic targets. 文摘旨在研究发酵玉米蛋白粉(fermented corn gluten meal,FCGM)替代玉米蛋白粉(corn gluten meal,CGM)对断奶前公犊生长、血浆代谢物和瘤胃微生物菌群的影响。试验选取20头日龄为(6.89±1.32)d,体质量为(49.31±3.12)kg的荷斯坦公犊,经1周适应期后,将犊牛按日龄和体质量随机分为2个处理组:对照组(每千克日粮中含有50 g CGM)和试验组(50 g FCGM替代50 g CGM),进行42 d饲喂试验。试验结束后开始对犊牛进行断奶。结果显示:饲喂FCGM犊牛平均日增重较饲喂CGM犊牛显著升高(P<0.05);与对照组相比,试验组血浆白蛋白、葡萄糖、总超氧化物歧化酶、过氧化氢酶、总抗氧化能力和免疫球蛋白A均显著(P<0.05)增加;日粮中添加FCGM还显著(P<0.05)提高了犊牛瘤胃内黄色瘤胃球菌和白色瘤胃球菌相对丰度,极显著(P<0.01)提高了栖瘤胃普雷沃菌和产琥珀酸丝状杆菌相对丰度。由此可见,FCGM可以提高断奶前犊牛生长性能以及抗氧化和免疫能力,同时还有利于促进断奶前犊牛瘤胃发育。
