基于光通信系统的前向纠错技术研究

In this paper, direct sequence spread spectrum multiple access (DS/SSMA) communication system employing serially concatenated trellis coded modulation (TCM) and continuous phase modulation (CPM) over flat Rayleigh fading channel are presented. The performance of this concatenated TCM/CPM DS/SSMA system is exploited by the theoretical analysis and numerical simulations. The results demonstrate that significant improvements in error probability of this DS/SSMA system over the system with single TCM or CPM of different modulation indices can be achieved under the same conditions. 展开更多

The improved three novel schemes of the super forward error correction (super-FEC) concatenated codes are proposed after the development trend of long-haul optical transmission systems and the defects of the existing FEC codes have been analyzed. The performance simulation of the Reed-Solomon(RS)+ Bose-Chaudhuri-Hocguenghem(BCH) inner-outer serial concatenated code is implemented and the conceptions of encoding/decoding the parallel-concatenated code are presented. Furthermore, the simulation results for the RS(255,239) +RS(255,239) code and the RS(255,239) +RS(255,223) code show that the two consecutive concatenated codes are a superior coding scheme with such advantages as the better error correction, moderate redundancy and easy realization compared to the classic RS(255,239) code and other codes, and their signal to noise ratio gains are respectively 2-3 dB more than that of the RS(255,239)code at the bit error rate of 1 × 10^-13. Finally, the frame structure of the novel consecutive concatenated code is arranged to lay a firm foundation in designing its hardware. 展开更多

This paper addresses the problem of channel estimation in 5G-enabled vehicular-to-vehicular(V2V) channels with high-mobility environments and non-stationary feature. Considering orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM) system, we perform extended Kalman filter(EKF) for channel estimation in conjunction with Iterative Detector & Decoder(IDD) at the receiver to improve the estimation accuracy. The EKF is proposed for jointly estimating the channel frequency response and the time-varying time correlation coefficients. And the IDD structure is adopted to reduce the estimation errors in EKF. The simulation results show that, compared with traditional methods, the proposed method effectively promotes the system performance. 展开更多

An adaptive joint source channel bit allocation method for video communications over error-prone channel is proposed.To protect the bit-streams from the channel bit errors,the rate compatible punctured convolution(RCPC)code is used to produce coding rates varying from 4/5 to 1/2 using the same encoder and the Viterbi decoder.An expected end-to-end distortion model was presented to estimate the distortion introduced in compressed source coding due to quantization and channel bit errors jointly.Based on the proposed end-to-end distortion model,an adaptive joint source-channel bit allocation method was proposed under time-varying error-prone channel conditions.Simulated results show that the proposed methods could utilize the available channel capacity more efficiently and achieve better video quality than the other fixed coding-based bit allocation methods when transmitting over error-prone channels. 展开更多

Based on the Reduced State Sequence Detection (RSSD),it has more general form compared with other reduced state SISO algorithms. The proposed algorithm can greatly reduce the state number,thus leads to the computation complexity reduction. It also minimizes the degradation in Euclidean distance with decision feedback in the reduced state trellis. Lateral inhibitory effect is a well-known feature of information processing in neural systems.This paper presents a neural array model with simple lateral inhibitory connections.After detailed examining into the dynamics of this kind of neural array,the author gives the sufficient conditions under which the outputs of the network will tend to a special stable pattern called spatial sparse pattern in which if the output of a neuron is 1,then the outputs of the neurons in its neighborhood are 0.This ability called spatial sparse coding plays an important role in self-coding,self-organization and associative memory for patterns and pattern sequences.The main conclusions about the dynamics of this kind of neural array which is related to spatial sparse coding are introduced. 展开更多
