This paper presents both results of a numerical modeling and an experimental study of the influence of various parameters on the radiation characteristics of barrier discharge lamp working in He/D2O mixture.It is obta...This paper presents both results of a numerical modeling and an experimental study of the influence of various parameters on the radiation characteristics of barrier discharge lamp working in He/D2O mixture.It is obtained that the intensity of ultraviolet radiation is a non-monotonic function of both the water and the helium pressures.The experimental results also show that the increase of both the discharge voltage and the discharge pulse frequency leads to the increase of radiation intensity.The comparison between the experimentally obtained data and the results of numerical modeling allows us to define the mechanism controlling the ultraviolet radiation in He/D2O mixture at various parameters.展开更多

A dressed mag...Considering the attractive interaction between ferromagnet, we propose the model of magnon-pairs, which two magnons with opposite wave vectors in a Heisenberg is suitable for low-temperature environment. A dressed magnon is an energy quantum of the magnon-pairs whose energy is a monotonically increasing function of absolute temperature. Based on the model, we re-investigate the excitation mechanism and thermodynamic properties of the Heisenberg ferromagnet. The correction factor e(O) plays an important role in studying the low-temperature properties of a ferromagnet.展开更多

Most of known results were given for the given functio...The polynomial-like iterative equation is an important form of functional equations, in which iterates of the unknown function are linked in a linear combination. Most of known results were given for the given function to be monotone. We discuss this equation for continuous solutions in the case that the given function is a PM(piecewise monotone) function, a special class of non-monotonic functions. Using extension method, we give a general construction of solutions for the polynomial-like iterative equation.展开更多
