First, some portion of D2D pairs that are the farthest away from the base station( BS) is selected to perform joint zero-forcing beamforming together with the cellular user equipments( UEs) and is admitted to the cellular network. The interference of the BS transmitting signal to the cellular UEs and the portion of D2D pair is eliminated completely at the same time. Secondly, based on the idea of interference alignment, the definition of channel parallelism is given. The channel parallelism of the remaining D2D pairs which are not involved in joint zero-forcing beamforming is computed by using the channel state information from the BS to the D2D devices. The higher the channel parallelism, the less interference the D2D pair suffers from the BS. Finally,in a descending order of channel parallelism, the remaining D2D pairs are reviewed in succession to determine admission to the cellular network. The algorithm stops when the admission of a D2D pair decreases the system sum rate. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively reduce the interference of the BS transmitting signal for D2D pairs and significantly improve system capacity. Furthermore, D2D communication is more applicable to short-range links.展开更多

However, most networking models demand a large control overhead in eNodeB. Moreover, the topology should be calculated again due to the mobility of terminals, which causes the long delay. In this work, we model multicast network construction in D2 D communication through a fuzzy mathematics and game theory based algorithm. In resource allocation, we assume that user equipment(UE) can detect the available frequency and the fuzzy mathematics is introduced to describe an uncertain relationship between the resource and UE distributedly, which diminishes the time delay. In particular, physical queue and virtual queue models by applying 'M/G/1 queue' and 'M/G/1 queue with vacations' theories are built up, respectively, to evaluate the delays experienced by various video traffics. Such delays play a vital role in calculating the packet loss rate for video streaming, which reflects the video distortion. Based on the distortion model, a video distortion minimization problem is formulated, subject to the rate constraint, maximum power constraint, primary users' tolerant interference constraint, and secondary users' minimum data rate requirement constraint. The optimization problem turns out to be a mixed integer nonlinear programming (MINLP) , which is generally nondeterministic in polynomial time. A Lagrangian dual method is thus employed to reformulate the video distortion minimization problem, based on which the sub-gradient algorithm is used to determine a relaxed solution. Thereafter, applying the iterative user removal yields the optimal joint channel selection and power control solution to the original MINLP problem. Extensive simulations validate our proposed scheme and demonstrate that it significantly increases the peak signal- to-noise ratio (PSNR) compared with the existing schemes.展开更多

文摘The emergence of multimedia services has meant a substantial increase in the number of devices in mobile networks and driving the demand for higher data transmission rates. The result is that, cellular networks must technically evolve to support such higher rates,to be equipped with greater capacity, and to increase the spectral and energy efficiency.Compared with 4G technology, the 5G networks are being designed to transmit up to 100 times more data volume with devices whose battery life is 10 times longer. Therefore, this new generation of networks has adopted a heterogeneous and ultra-dense architecture, where different technological advances are combined such as device-to-device(D2D)communication,which is one of the key elements of 5G networks. It has immediate applications such as the distribution of traffic load(data offloading),communications for emergency services, and the extension of cellular coverage, etc. In this communication model, two devices can communicate directly if they are close to each other without using a base station or a remote access point. Thus, eliminating the interference between theD2Dand cellular communication in the network. The interference management has become a hot issue in current research. In order to address this problem, this paper proposes a joint resource allocation algorithm based on the idea of mode selection and resource assignment.Simulation results showthat the proposed algorithm effectively improves the systemperformance and reduces the interference as compared with existing algorithms.
文摘With the rapid development of the next-generation mobile network, the number of terminal devices and applications is growing explosively. Therefore, how to obtain a higher data rate, wider network coverage and higher resource utilization in the limited spectrum resources has become the common research goal of scholars.Device-to-Device(D2D)communication technology and other frontier communication technologies have emerged.Device-to-Device communication technology is the technology that devices in proximity can communicate directly in cellular networks. It has become one of the key technologies of the fifth-generation mobile communications system(5G).D2D communication technology which is introduced into cellular networks can effectively improve spectrum utilization, enhance network coverage, reduce transmission delay and improve system throughput, but it would also bring complicated and various interferences due to reusing cellular resources at the same time.So resource management is one of the most challenging and importing issues to give full play to the advantages of D2D communication.Optimal resource allocation is an important factor that needs to be addressed in D2D communication. Therefore, this paper proposes an optimization method based on the game-matching concept. The main idea is to model the optimization problem of the quality-of-experience based on user fairness and solve it through game-matching theory.Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm effectively improved the resource allocation and utilization as compared with existing algorithms.
文摘The next-generation wireless networks are expected to provide higher capacity, system throughput with improved energy efficiency. One of the key technologies,to meet the demand for high-rate transmission,is deviceto-device(D2D)communication which allows users who are close to communicating directly instead of transiting through base stations, and D2D communication users to share the cellular user chain under the control of the cellular network. As a new generation of cellular network technology,D2D communication technology has the advantages of improving spectrum resource utilization and improving system throughput and has become one of the key technologies that have been widely concerned in the industry. However, due to the sharing of cellular network resources,D2D communication causes severe interference to existing cellular systems. One of the most important factors in D2D communication is the spectrum resources utilization and energy consumption which needs considerable attention from research scholars. To address these issues, this paper proposes an efficient algorithm based on the idea of particle swarm optimization. The main idea is to maximize the energy efficiency based on the overall link optimization of D2D user pairs by generating an allocation matrix of spectrum and power. The D2D users are enabled to reuse multiple cellular user’s resources by enhancing their total energy efficiency based on the quality of service constraints and the modification of location and speed in particle swarm.Such constraint also provides feasibility to solve the original fractional programming problem.Simulation results indicate that the proposed scheme effectively improved the energy efficiency and spectrum utilization as compared with other competing alternatives.

文摘Quality of Service(QoS)in the 6G application scenario is an important issue with the premise of the massive data transmission.Edge caching based on the fog computing network is considered as a potential solution to effectively reduce the content fetch delay for latency-sensitive services of Internet of Things(IoT)devices.Considering the time-varying scenario, the machine learning techniques could further reduce the content fetch delay by optimizing the caching decisions. In this paper,to minimize the content fetch delay and ensure the QoS of the network,a Device-to-Device(D2D)assisted fog computing network architecture is introduced, which supports federated learning and QoS-aware caching decisions based on time-varying user preferences. To release the network congestion and the risk of the user privacy leakage, federated learning,is enabled in the D2D-assisted fog computing network.Specifically,it has been observed that federated learning yields suboptimal results according to the Non-Independent Identical Distribution(Non-IID)of local users data.To address this issue,a distributed cluster-based user preference estimation algorithm is proposed to optimize the content caching placement, improve the cache hit rate, the content fetch delay and the convergence rate, which can effectively mitigate the impact of the Non-IID data set by clustering. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm provides a considerable performance improvement with better learning results compared with the existing algorithms.

文摘The performance of a device-to-device(D2D)underlay communication system is limited by the co-channel interference between cellular users(CUs)and D2D devices. To address this challenge,a reconfigurable intelligent surface(RIS)aided D2D underlay system is studied in this paper.A two-timescale optimization scheme is proposed to reduce the required channel training and feedback overhead, where transmit beamforming at the base station(BS)and power control at the D2D transmitters are adapted to instantaneous effective channel state information(CSI);and the RIS phase shifts are adapted to slow-varying channel mean.Based on the two-timescale optimization scheme,we aim to maximize the D2D ergodic weighted sum-rate(WSR)subject to a given outage probability constrained signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio(SINR)target for each CU.The two-timescale problem is decoupled into two sub-problems,and the two sub-problems are solved iteratively.Numerical results verified that the two-timescale based optimization performs better than two baselines, and also demonstrated a favourable trade-off between system performance and CSI overhead.

文摘A joint channel selection and power control scheme is developed for video streaming in device-to-device (D2D) communications based cognitive radio networks. Extensive simulations validate our proposed scheme and demonstrate that it significantly increases the peak signal- to-noise ratio (PSNR) compared with the existing schemes.

文摘In this paper,we design a friendly jammer selection scheme for the social Internet of Things(IoT).A typical social IoT is composed of a cellular network with underlaying Device-to-Device(D2D)communications.In our scheme,we consider signal characteristics over a physical layer and social attribute information of an application layer simultaneously.Using signal characteristics, one of the D2D gadgets is selected as a friendly jammer to improve the secrecy performance of a cellular device. In return, the selected D2D gadget is allowed to reuse spectrum resources of the cellular device.Using social relationship,we analyze and quantify the social intimacy degree among the nodes in IoT to design an adaptive communication time threshold.Applying an artificial intelligence forecasting model,we further forecast and update the intimacy degree, and then screen and filter potential devices to effectively reduce the detection and calculation costs. Finally,we propose an optimal scheme to integrate the virtual social relationship with actual communication systems. To select the optimal D2D gadget as a friendly jammer,we apply Kuhn-Munkres(KM)algorithm to solve the maximization problem of social intimacy and cooperative jamming.Comprehensive numerical results are presented to validate the performance of our scheme.
