Computer security is a matter of great interest. In the last decade there have been numerous cases of cybercrime based on the exploitation of software vulnerabilities. This fact has generated a great social concern and a greater importance of computer security as a discipline. In this work, the most important vulnerabilities of recent years are identified, classified, and categorized individually.A measure of the impact of each vulnerability is used to carry out this classification, considering the number of products affected by each vulnerability,as well as its severity. In addition, the categories of vulnerabilities that have the greatest presence are identified.Based on the results obtained in this study,we can understand the consequences of the most common vulnerabilities, which software products are affected, how to counteract these vulnerabilities, and what their current trend is. 展开更多

The present study shall be mainly concerned with logic flow and its expressions in academic paper. It examines Law, Law, What Law? and intends to focus on two research goals: (1) to identify logic flow among clause complexes; (2) to figure out meanings and intentions of those logic expressions. The description and analysis shall demonstrate how the logic flow is achieved on two aspects of textual cohesive devices: grammatical cohesion and lexical cohesion. Any reader or translator ignores such devices of cohesion may not only get lost in the maze of language but miss subtle touches of irony, hence misreading the author's points of view. 展开更多

This paper aims to study the architectural design and planning of the Egyptian nuclear research centers. Three Egyptian nuclear research centers and the proposed nuclear research center have been studied. These centers are the Nuclear Research Center in Inshas, the Hot laboratories and Waste Management Center in Inshas, the National Center for Radiation Research and Technology in Nasr City and the proposed Nuclear Research Center in North Western Coast of Egypt. Also, the paper aims to study the functions of these centers, as well as the types of their existing facilities. The paper investigates the principles and standards used in design and planning of these nuclear research centers. A comparative study has been conducted to those four nuclear research centers to evaluate the centers according to the site characteristics and the basic safety factors. The results were compared to determine the best design and planning. The proposed Nuclear Research Center in North Western Coast of Egypt proved to be the best among all with regard to design and planning, taking into consideration the radiation safety requirements. The architects are recommended to design and plan the nuclear research centers, taking into consideration the radial planning concept because it is the best with regard to radiation safety requirements. 展开更多

Objective: To try to give an objective evaluation on the clinical research situation about acupuncture treatment of facial paralysis in the past 50 years and try to provide a possible evidence for clinical practice. Methods: All papers are searched and assessed according to the international standards and clinical epidemiology. Results: There is no systematic review (SR) on acupuncture treatment of facial palsy in a total of 1021 articles enlisted in the present paper. Comparing with the quantity of the descriptive studies and expert opinions (constituting 84.84%), that of the randomized controlled trials (RCTs) and clinical controlled trials (CCTs) is smaller (constituting 15.16%), besides, the quality of RCTs and CCTs is unsatisfactory. Conclusion: At present, the quantity and quality of studies with RCTs about acupuncture treatment of facial paralysis can’t meet the need of clinical practice, and in order to improve the therapeutic effect, a higher quality of RCTs and SR is required. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Grouping eating disorders(ED)patients into subtypes could help improve the establishment of more effective diagnostic and treatment strategies.AIM To identify clinically meaningful subgroups among subjects with ED using multiple correspondence analysis(MCA).METHODS A prospective cohort study was conducted of all outpatients diagnosed for an ED at an Eating Disorders Outpatient Clinic to characterize groups of patients with ED into subtypes according to sociodemographic and psychosocial impairment data, and to validate the results using several illustrative variables. In all,176(72.13%)patients completed five questionnaires(clinical impairment assessment, eating attitudes test-12,ED-short form health-related quality of life, metacognitions questionnaire,Penn State Worry Questionnaire)and sociodemographic data.ED patient groups were defined using MCA and cluster analysis. Results were validated using key outcomes of subtypes of ED.RESULTS Four ED subgroups were identified based on the sociodemographic and psychosocial impairment data.CONCLUSION ED patients were differentiated into well-defined outcome groups according to specific clusters of compensating behaviours. 展开更多

HIV (Human Immuno-deficiency Virus) prevalence in Malawi is one of the highest in the world, with 10.3% of population living with HIV. Kenya has a prevalence rate of 6% and with 1.6 million people living with HIV infection. The broad objective of the study was to assess the proportion of youth aged 15-24 years affected by HIV in Malawi and Kenya. This was a descriptive study design. Data were mainly collected from reports from government, World Bank, World Health Organization and UN agencies. Graphs, tables and charts have been used to present statistics. Data for specific age cohort were hard to find and hence, data were used for general HIV and AIDS with special attention to the youth where possible. In Kenya, HIV prevalence among young women jumps three folds from 2.8% of 15-17 year olds to 8.3% among 23-24 year olds. In Malawi, around 2,100 young people and adolescents are infected with HIV every day. In 2013, four million young people aged 15-24 were living with HIV, with 29% aged under 19 years. This age group includes school going youths, newly employed, economically productive and sexually active group. HIV prevalence in Malawi has been declining over time among persons aged 15-19 years from 16.4% in 1999 to 11.8 % in 2004 to 10.6% in 2010 and 10.3% in 2016. However, in Kenya, the trend of HIV prevalence reached its peak of 10.55% in 1995-1996 after which it declined to 6.7% in 2003 and has been stable since then. 展开更多

The use of "should" in the applied translation studies such as translators training, translation aids and translation criticism has proved to be one of the most important tools for progress in the discipline since Holme put forward the basic map of Translation Studies. In this paper, the author discusses mainly the use of "should" in translation criticism, arguing that, the many advantages to be had by this method notwithstanding, there are problems. For example, it is not always fair to judge one translator's work too soon and too sure; and offering overwhelming advice induces disrespect to the translator. For these reasons, the author argues, it is worth exploring ways of translation criticism beyond traditional mode of"should" which may seem subversive of standard uses, either alone or in conjunction with Descriptive Translation Studies (DTS). 展开更多

Little is known about types and factors related to CAM use in patients with diabetes in Thailand. This study aimed to examine types and factors that were associated with CAM use in Thai diabetic patients.METHODS: A cross-sectional study of diabetic patients being treated in four primary healthcare units and two secondary hospitals in the north of Thailand was conducted. A questionnaire was used to collect data. Frequency, percentage, and Chi-square test were used to describe or analyze data.RESULTS: The three most common types of CAM used by samples were Daode Xinxi (a modified version of Taichi), prayer and meditation. Women were more likely to use CAM than men (χ^2=5.038, P=0.018). Patients aged between 40 and 69 years were more likely to use CAM than those aged younger than 40 or older than 69 years (χ^2=11.041, P=0.026). Farmers were more likely to use CAM than those with other careers (χ^2=19.248, P=0.007). Diabetes patients whose time since diagnosis was between 1 and 10 years were more likely to use CAM than those with a longer elapsed time since diagnosis (χ^2= 8.407, P = 0.038). Marital status, religion, education, health insurance type and conventional treatment approaches were not associated with CAM use in diabetic patients.CONCLUSION: The most common type of CAM used by Thai patients with diabetes was mind and body practice. CAM use was significantly associated with gender, age, career and duration of diabetes However, marital status, religion, education, health insurance types and conventional regimen for diabetics were not associated with CAM use. 展开更多
