Data processing of small samples is an important and valuable research problem in the electronic equipment test. Because it is difficult and complex to determine the probability distribution of small samples, it is di...Data processing of small samples is an important and valuable research problem in the electronic equipment test. Because it is difficult and complex to determine the probability distribution of small samples, it is difficult to use the traditional probability theory to process the samples and assess the degree of uncertainty. Using the grey relational theory and the norm theory, the grey distance information approach, which is based on the grey distance information quantity of a sample and the average grey distance information quantity of the samples, is proposed in this article. The definitions of the grey distance information quantity of a sample and the average grey distance information quantity of the samples, with their characteristics and algorithms, are introduced. The correlative problems, including the algorithm of estimated value, the standard deviation, and the acceptance and rejection criteria of the samples and estimated results, are also proposed. Moreover, the information whitening ratio is introduced to select the weight algorithm and to compare the different samples. Several examples are given to demonstrate the application of the proposed approach. The examples show that the proposed approach, which has no demand for the probability distribution of small samples, is feasible and effective.展开更多

In the classical world, it is named frequency in t...A quantum time-dependent spectrum analysis, or simply, quantum spectral analysis (QSA) is presented in this work, and it’s based on Schrödinger’s equation. In the classical world, it is named frequency in time (FIT), which is used here as a complement of the traditional frequency-dependent spectral analysis based on Fourier theory. Besides, FIT is a metric which assesses the impact of the flanks of a signal on its frequency spectrum, not taken into account by Fourier theory and lets alone in real time. Even more, and unlike all derived tools from Fourier Theory (i.e., continuous, discrete, fast, short-time, fractional and quantum Fourier Transform, as well as, Gabor) FIT has the following advantages, among others: 1) compact support with excellent energy output treatment, 2) low computational cost, O(N) for signals and O(N2) for images, 3) it does not have phase uncertainties (i.e., indeterminate phase for a magnitude = 0) as in the case of Discrete and Fast Fourier Transform (DFT, FFT, respectively). But in China, unfortunately, few achievements have been made in the field of reading theory research. Thus, in order to ameliorate our reading teaching, it is urgent for us to set up our own system of reading theories. The author, after studying carefully the present reading models in China and by absorbing the quintessence of foreign reading theories, ventures to suggest the “discourse word discourse” model. The model gives full thought to the characteristics of Chinese college students and thus suits a reading classroom in China better. ^(23)Na is a nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR)-active isotope with a nuclear spin quantum number of 3/2.^(23)Na relaxation phenomenon is at the core of ^(23)Na NMR measurement and analysis.Due to the dominance of quadru...^(23)Na is a nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR)-active isotope with a nuclear spin quantum number of 3/2.^(23)Na relaxation phenomenon is at the core of ^(23)Na NMR measurement and analysis.Due to the dominance of quadrupolar interaction,the relaxation behavior of ^(23)Na is physically and mathematically more complex than that of a typical spin-1/2 isotope.In this review,we overview the semi-classical Redfield theory for deriving the formulations of ^(23)Na relaxation.We show that the relaxation behaviors of ^(23)Na can be quantitatively described by constructing the spectral density functions based on the second-order perturbation theory.In addition,we summarize the applications of ^(23)Na relaxometry in different research fields,including biomedicine,sodium ion batteries,and quantum information processing.Because sodium is an essential element in our body,food and industrial materials,the research on sodium by ^(23)Na NMR emerges as important future directions.The theoretical and practical understandings on ^(23)Na relaxation are the step stones for mastering advanced ^(23)Na NMR techniques.展开更多
