Diesel molecular compositional model has important application for diesel quality prediction,blending,and molecular-level process model development.In this paper,different types of diesel molecular compositional and b...Diesel molecular compositional model has important application for diesel quality prediction,blending,and molecular-level process model development.In this paper,different types of diesel molecular compositional and blending models were constructed based on the SU-BEM framework.More than 1500 representative molecules were selected to form the molecular structure library.The probability density functions(PDFs)combination was determined by experimental data and experience.A quadratic optimization strategy combining genetic algorithm with local optimization algorithm was adopted to improve the accuracy of the compositional model.The model results show good agreement with the experimental data.The diesel blending model was constructed at the molecular-level based on the above diesel compositional models.The properties of the blending model accord with the experimental regulations.It is proved that the compositional models and blending model constructed have high accuracy and strong prediction capability,and are applicable to the industrial process.展开更多

The mechanism a...A multi-objective intelligent coordinating optimization strategy based on qualitative and quantitative synthetic model for Pb-Zn sintering blending process was proposed to obtain optimal mixture ratio. The mechanism and neural network quantitative models for predicting compositions and rule models for expert reasoning were constructed based on statistical data and empirical knowledge. An expert reasoning method based on these models were proposed to solve blending optimization problem, including multi-objective optimization for the first blending process and area optimization for the second blending process, and to determine optimal mixture ratio which will meet the requirement of intelligent coordination. The results show that the qualified rates of agglomerate Pb, Zn and S compositions are increased by 7.1%, 6.5% and 6.9%, respectively, and the fluctuation of sintering permeability is reduced by 7.0%, which effectively stabilizes the agglomerate compositions and the permeability.展开更多

In the present work, 14 indices are proposed to represent chemical composition, granulating properties and high temperature properties of iron ores. After the relationships between iron ore characteristics and sintering performance are established, the "two-step" method and the simplex method are introduced to build the model by distinguishing the calculation of optimized blending proportion of iron ores from that of other sintering materials in order to improve calculation efficiency. The ore-blending optimization model, programmed by Access and Visual Basic, is applied to practical production in steel mills and the results prove that the present model can take advantage of the available iron ore resource with stable sinter yield and quality performance but at a lower cost.展开更多
The dynamic viscoelastic properties of asphalt AC-20 and its composites with Organic-Montmorillonite clay (OMMt) and SBS were modeled using the empirical Havriliak-Negami (HN) model, based on linear viscoelastic theor...The dynamic viscoelastic properties of asphalt AC-20 and its composites with Organic-Montmorillonite clay (OMMt) and SBS were modeled using the empirical Havriliak-Negami (HN) model, based on linear viscoelastic theory (LVE). The HN parameters, α, β, G0, G∞and τHN were determined by solving the HN equation across various temperatures and frequencies. The HN model successfully predicted the rheological behavior of the asphalt and its blends within the temperature range of 25˚C - 40˚C. However, deviations occurred between 40˚C - 75˚C, where the glass transition temperature Tg of the asphalt components and the SBS polymer are located, rendering the HN model ineffective for predicting the dynamic viscoelastic properties of composites containing OMMt under these conditions. Yet, the prediction error of the HN model dropped to 2.28% - 2.81% for asphalt and its mixtures at 100˚C, a temperature exceeding the Tg values of both polymer and asphalt, where the mixtures exhibited a liquid-like behavior. The exponent α and the relaxation time increased with temperature across all systems. Incorporating OMMt clay into the asphalt blends significantly enhanced the relaxation dynamics of the resulting composites.展开更多

The storage moduli versus angular frequency (G’-ω) data of the blends are fitted by Palierne model. The Palierne model fits the data basically well for the PA6-rich blends and the 70/6/30 (PS/PS-g-MAH/PA6) blend. The fitting results show that the PS-g-MAH has a fine compatibilizing effect on the PS/PA6 blends.展开更多

Different from the methods to recover constant and variable radius blends from unorganized points, it contains not only novel segmentation and feature recognition techniques, but also bias corrected technique to capture more reliable distribution of feature parameters along the spine curve. The segmentation depending on point classification separates the points in the conic blend region from the input point cloud. The available feature parameters of the cross-sectional curves are extracted with the processes of slicing point clouds with planes, conic curve fitting, and parameters estimation and compensation, The extracted parameters and its distribution laws are refined according to statistic theory such as regression analysis and hypothesis test. The proposed method can accurately capture the original design intentions and conveniently guide the reverse modeling process. Application examples are presented to verify the high precision and stability of the proposed method.展开更多

With the rapid development of 3D digital photography and 3D digital scanning devices, massive amount of point samples can be generated in acquisition of complex, real-world objects, and thus create an urgent need for ...With the rapid development of 3D digital photography and 3D digital scanning devices, massive amount of point samples can be generated in acquisition of complex, real-world objects, and thus create an urgent need for advanced point-based processing and editing. In this paper, we present an interactive method for blending point-based geometries by dragging-and- dropping one point-based model onto another model’s surface metaphor. We first calculate a blending region based on the polygon of interest when the user drags-and-drops the model. Radial basis function is used to construct an implicit surface which smoothly interpolates with the transition regions. Continuing the drag-and-drop operation will make the system recalculate the blending regions and reconstruct the transition regions. The drag-and-drop operation can be compound in a constructive solid geometry (CSG) manner to interactively construct a complex point-based model from multiple simple ones. Experimental results showed that our method generates good quality transition regions between two raw point clouds and can effectively reduce the rate of overlapping during the blending.展开更多
Large-scale atmospheric information plays an important role in the regional model for the forecasts of weather such as tropical cyclone(TC).However,it is difficult to be fully represented in regional models due to dom...Large-scale atmospheric information plays an important role in the regional model for the forecasts of weather such as tropical cyclone(TC).However,it is difficult to be fully represented in regional models due to domain size and a lack of observation data,particularly at sea used in regional data assimilation.Blending analysis has been developed and implemented in regional models to reintroduce large-scale information from global model to regional analysis.Research of the impact of this large-scale blending scheme for the Global/Regional Assimilation and PrEdiction System(CMA-MESO)regional model on TC forecasting is limited and this study attempts to further progress by examining the adaptivity of the blending scheme using the two-dimensional Discrete Cosine Transform(2D-DCT)filter on the model forecast of Typhoon Haima over Shenzhen,China in 2016 and considering various cut-off wavelengths.Results showed that the error of the 24-hour typhoon track forecast can be reduced to less than 25 km by applying the scale-dependent blending scheme,indicating that the blending analysis is effectively able to minimise the large-scale bias for the initial fields.The improvement of the wind forecast is more evident for u-wind component according to the reduced root mean square errors(RMSEs)by comparing the experiments with and without blending analysis.Furthermore,the higher equitable threat score(ETS)provided implications that the precipitation prediction skills were increased in the 24h forecast by improving the representation of the large-scale feature in the CMA-MESO analysis.Furthermore,significant differences of the track error forecast were found by applying the blending analysis with different cut-off wavelengths from 400 km to 1200 km and the track error can be reduced less than by 10 km with 400 km cut-off wavelength in the first 6h forecast.It highlighted that the blending scheme with dynamic cut-off wavelengths adapted to the development of different TC systems is necessary in order to optimally introduce and ingest the large-scale information from global model to the regional model for improving the TC forecast.In this paper,the methods and data applied in this study will be firstly introduced,before discussion of the results regarding the performance of the blending analysis and its impacts on the wind and precipitation forecast correspondingly,followed by the discussion of the effects of different blending scheme on TC forecasts and the conclusion section.展开更多

PCA was used to transform the high-dimensional and correlative influencing factors data to low-dimensional principal component subspace. Well-trained SVM was used to extract influencing factors as input to predict blended coal's property. Then experiments were made by using the real data, and the results were compared with weighted averaging method (WAM) and BP neural network. Radial basis function is used to construct an implicit surface which smoothly interpolates with the transition regions. Continuing the drag-and-drop operation will make the system recalculate the blending regions and reconstruct the transition regions. The drag-and-drop operation can be compound in a constructive solid geometry (CSG) manner to interactively construct a complex point-based model from multiple simple ones. Experimental results showed that our method generates good quality transition regions between two raw point clouds and can effectively reduce the rate of overlapping during the blending.

文摘Large-scale atmospheric information plays an important role in the regional model for the forecasts of weather such as tropical cyclone(TC).However,it is difficult to be fully represented in regional models due to domain size and a lack of observation data,particularly at sea used in regional data assimilation.Blending analysis has been developed and implemented in regional models to reintroduce large-scale information from global model to regional analysis.Research of the impact of this large-scale blending scheme for the Global/Regional Assimilation and PrEdiction System(CMA-MESO)regional model on TC forecasting is limited and this study attempts to further progress by examining the adaptivity of the blending scheme using the two-dimensional Discrete Cosine Transform(2D-DCT)filter on the model forecast of Typhoon Haima over Shenzhen,China in 2016 and considering various cut-off wavelengths.Results showed that the error of the 24-hour typhoon track forecast can be reduced to less than 25 km by applying the scale-dependent blending scheme,indicating that the blending analysis is effectively able to minimise the large-scale bias for the initial fields.The improvement of the wind forecast is more evident for u-wind component according to the reduced root mean square errors(RMSEs)by comparing the experiments with and without blending analysis.Furthermore,the higher equitable threat score(ETS)provided implications that the precipitation prediction skills were increased in the 24h forecast by improving the representation of the large-scale feature in the CMA-MESO analysis.Furthermore,significant differences of the track error forecast were found by applying the blending analysis with different cut-off wavelengths from 400 km to 1200 km and the track error can be reduced less than by 10 km with 400 km cut-off wavelength in the first 6h forecast.It highlighted that the blending scheme with dynamic cut-off wavelengths adapted to the development of different TC systems is necessary in order to optimally introduce and ingest the large-scale information from global model to the regional model for improving the TC forecast.In this paper,the methods and data applied in this study will be firstly introduced,before discussion of the results regarding the performance of the blending analysis and its impacts on the wind and precipitation forecast correspondingly,followed by the discussion of the effects of different blending scheme on TC forecasts and the conclusion section.

文摘Mobile learning is the general trend of the times and the inevitable choice for the reform and development of college English teaching.This article attempts to use blended learning theory,mobile learning theory,and instructional design theory as a guide.In many English mobile learning apps,Superstar Learning Link is used as an example to design an online and offline blended teaching mode.It proposes thinking expansion and interaction in pre-class stage.Consolidation of input and outputoriented process are during class and evaluation and sublimation are made after class.The essay is aimed to break the boundaries between traditional teaching and mobile learning,combining synchronous learning with personalized learning in order to improve comprehensive levels of English.

文摘In order to predict blended coal's property accurately, a new kind of hybrid prediction model based on principal component analysis (PCA) and support vector machine (SVM) was established. PCA was used to transform the high-dimensional and correlative influencing factors data to low-dimensional principal component subspace. Well-trained SVM was used to extract influencing factors as input to predict blended coal's property. Then experiments were made by using the real data, and the results were compared with weighted averaging method (WAM) and BP neural network. The results show that PCA-SVM has higher prediction accuracy in the condition of few data, thus the hybrid model is of great use in the domain of power coal blending.
文摘To improve the quality of education,the application of various forms of teaching and learning tools supported by technology is becoming increasingly widespread in education.Especially the internet communication and technology are changing the education era swiftly with the advent of fifth-generation technology.Research about blended learning(BL)based on 5G networks is emerging.However,few studies have explained how 5G network technology helps the BL teaching model be better applied to teaching.Therefore,this paper tries to sort out the development process of BL teaching mode,summarize the challenges of BL learning in teaching,and explore how the development of the 5G era will positively impact BL teaching mode.
