The proliferation of robot accounts on social media platforms has posed a significant negative impact,necessitating robust measures to counter network anomalies and safeguard content integrity.Social robot detection h...The proliferation of robot accounts on social media platforms has posed a significant negative impact,necessitating robust measures to counter network anomalies and safeguard content integrity.Social robot detection has emerged as a pivotal yet intricate task,aimed at mitigating the dissemination of misleading information.While graphbased approaches have attained remarkable performance in this realm,they grapple with a fundamental limitation:the homogeneity assumption in graph convolution allows social robots to stealthily evade detection by mingling with genuine human profiles.To unravel this challenge and thwart the camouflage tactics,this work proposed an innovative social robot detection framework based on enhanced HOmogeneity and Random Forest(HORFBot).At the core of HORFBot lies a homogeneous graph enhancement strategy,intricately woven with edge-removal techniques,tometiculously dissect the graph intomultiple revealing subgraphs.Subsequently,leveraging the power of contrastive learning,the proposed methodology meticulously trains multiple graph convolutional networks,each honed to discern nuances within these tailored subgraphs.The culminating stage involves the fusion of these feature-rich base classifiers,harmoniously aggregating their insights to produce a comprehensive detection outcome.Extensive experiments on three social robot detection datasets have shown that this method effectively improves the accuracy of social robot detection and outperforms comparative methods.展开更多

In the empirical analysis section, global air quality data from 2022 to 2024 are used, and the proposed method is applied. Specifically, principal component analysis (PCA) is first conducted, and then VAR and Random Forest methods are used for prediction on the reduced-dimensional data. The results show that the RMSE of the hybrid model is 45.27, significantly lower than the 49.11 of the VAR model alone, verifying its superiority. Proper characterization of spatial distribution of shallow gassy soils is indispensable prior to construction of underground projects in the area. Due to the costly conditions required in the site investigation for gassy soils, only a limited number of gas pressure data can be obtained in engineering practice, which leads to the uncertainty in characterizing spatial distribution of gassy soils. Determining the number of boreholes for investigating gassy soils and their corresponding locations is pivotal to reducing construction risk induced by gassy soils. However, this primarily relies on the engineering experience in the current site investigation practice. This study develops a probabilistic site investigation optimization method for planning investigation schemes (including the number and locations of boreholes) of gassy soils based on the conditional random field and Monte Carlo simulation. The proposed method aims to provide an optimal investigation scheme before the site investigation based on prior knowledge. Finally, the proposed approach is illustrated using a case study.展开更多
OBJECTIVE:In recent years,the number of clinical research reports on acupuncture and manipulation for the treatment of greater occipital neuralgia has gradually increased,but the quality is uneven.There is currently n...OBJECTIVE:In recent years,the number of clinical research reports on acupuncture and manipulation for the treatment of greater occipital neuralgia has gradually increased,but the quality is uneven.There is currently no literature evaluating the quality of published reports,which is not conducive to the promotion of clinical use of these therapies.Therefore,this article assessed the reporting quality of randomized controlled trials on acupuncture and manipulation for greater occipital neuralgia.METHODS:Cochrane Library,PubMed,Web of Science,Embase,China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),VIP,WanFang Data,and Chinese BioMedical Literature Database(CBM)from inception to May 20,2024 were searched.The reporting quality of included randomized controlled trials was independently evaluated by two investigators using the CONSORT statement,STRICTA checklist,and Cochrane bias of risk assessment tool.A third investigator resolved any disagreement.RESULTS:A total of 62 articles were included.Based on the CONSORT statement,59.46%(22/37)of all entries had a reporting rate of less than 50%,mainly including“Identification as a randomized trial in the title(1/62,1.61%),”“How sample size was determined(7/62,11.29%),”“Implementation(1/62,1.61%),”“Blinding(1/62,1.61%),”and“Reports of Funding(4/62,6.45%).”According to the STRICTA checklist,29.41%(5/17)of all entries had a reporting rate of less than 50%,mainly including“Details of other interventions(7/58,12.07%),”“Setting and context of treatment(0/58,0%),”and“Description of participating acupuncturists(0/58,0%).”CONCLUSION:The reporting quality of randomized controlled trials on acupuncture and manipulation therapy for greater occipital neuralgia remains low.Future researchers need to make greater efforts to strictly adhere to the CONSORT statement and STRICTA checklist during trial design,implementation,and reporting.This will facilitate the standardization of research in this field and enhance the reliability and reproducibility of the research results.展开更多

Sudden and unforeseen seismic failures of coal mine overburden(OB)dump slopes interrupt mining operations,cause loss of lives and delay the production of coal.Consideration of the spatial heterogeneity of OB dump mate...Sudden and unforeseen seismic failures of coal mine overburden(OB)dump slopes interrupt mining operations,cause loss of lives and delay the production of coal.Consideration of the spatial heterogeneity of OB dump materials is imperative for an adequate evaluation of the seismic stability of OB dump slopes.In this study,pseudo-static seismic stability analyses are carried out for an OB dump slope by considering the material parameters obtained from an insitu field investigation.Spatial heterogeneity is simulated through use of the random finite element method(RFEM)and the random limit equilibrium method(RLEM)and a comparative study is presented.Combinations of horizontal and vertical spatial correlation lengths were considered for simulating isotropic and anisotropic random fields within the OB dump slope.Seismic performances of the slope have been reported through the probability of failure and reliability index.It was observed that the RLEM approach overestimates failure probability(P_(f))by considering seismic stability with spatial heterogeneity.The P_(f)was observed to increase with an increase in the coefficient of variation of friction angle of the dump materials.Further,it was inferred that the RLEM approach may not be adequately applicable for assessing the seismic stability of an OB dump slope for a horizontal seismic coefficient that is more than or equal to 0.1.展开更多
This paper explores the synergistic effect of a model combining Elastic Net and Random Forest in online fraud detection.The study selects a public network dataset containing 1781 data records,divides the dataset by 70...This paper explores the synergistic effect of a model combining Elastic Net and Random Forest in online fraud detection.The study selects a public network dataset containing 1781 data records,divides the dataset by 70%for training and 30%for validation,and analyses the correlation between features using a correlation matrix.The experimental results show that the Elastic Net feature selection method generally outperforms PCA in all models,especially when combined with the Random Forest and XGBoost models,and the ElasticNet+Random Forest model achieves the highest accuracy of 0.968 and AUC value of 0.983,while the Kappa and MCC also reached 0.839 and 0.844 respectively,showing extremely high consistency and correlation.This indicates that combining Elastic Net feature selection and Random Forest model has significant performance advantages in online fraud detection.展开更多
Background:The aim of this study was to analyze the bi-directional causal relation-ship between lipid profile and characteristics related to muscle atrophy by using a bi-directional Mendelian randomization(MR)analysis...Background:The aim of this study was to analyze the bi-directional causal relation-ship between lipid profile and characteristics related to muscle atrophy by using a bi-directional Mendelian randomization(MR)analysis.Methods:The appendicular lean mass(ALM),whole body fat-free mass(WBFFM)and trunk fat-free mass(TFFM)were used as genome-wide association study(GWAS)data for evaluating muscle mass;the usual walking pace(UWP)and low grip strength(LGS)were used as GWAS data for evaluating muscle strength;and the triglycerides(TG),total cholesterol(TC),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL),low density lipo-protein cholesterol(LDL),apolipoprotein A-1(Apo A-1),and apolipoprotein B(Apo B)were used as GWAS data for evaluating lipid profile.For specific investigations,we mainly employed inverse variance weighting for causal estimation and MR-Egger for pleiotropy analysis.Results:MR results showed that the lipid profile predicted by genetic variants was negatively correlated with muscle mass,positively correlated with UWP,and was not causally correlated with LGS.On the other hand,the muscle mass predicted by genetic variants was negatively correlated with lipid profile,the UWP predicted by genetic variants was mainly positively correlated with lipid profile,while the LGS pre-dicted by genetic variants had no relevant causal relationship with lipid profile.Conclusions:Findings of this MR analysis suggest that hyperlipidemia may affect muscle mass and lead to muscle atrophy,but has no significant effect on muscle strength.On the other hand,increased muscle mass may reduce the incidence of dyslipidemia.展开更多
Evaluation of water richness in sandstone is an important research topic in the prevention and control of mine water disasters,and the water richness in sandstone is closely related to its porosity.The refl ection sei...Evaluation of water richness in sandstone is an important research topic in the prevention and control of mine water disasters,and the water richness in sandstone is closely related to its porosity.The refl ection seismic exploration data have high-density spatial sampling information,which provides an important data basis for the prediction of sandstone porosity in coal seam roofs by using refl ection seismic data.First,the basic principles of the variational mode decomposition(VMD)method and the random forest method are introduced.Then,the geological model of coal seam roof sandstone is constructed,seismic forward modeling is conducted,and random noise is added.The decomposition eff ects of the empirical mode decomposition(EMD)method and VMD method on noisy signals are compared and analyzed.The test results show that the fi rstorder intrinsic mode functions(IMF1)and IMF2 decomposed by the VMD method contain the main eff ective components of seismic signals.A prediction process of sandstone porosity in coal seam roofs based on the combination of VMD and random forest method is proposed.The feasibility and eff ectiveness of the method are verifi ed by trial calculation in the porosity prediction of model data.Taking the actual coalfi eld refl ection seismic data as an example,the sandstone porosity of the 8 coal seam roof is predicted.The application results show the potential application value of the new porosity prediction method proposed in this study.This method has important theoretical guiding signifi cance for evaluating water richness in coal seam roof sandstone and the prevention and control of mine water disasters.展开更多
BACKGROUND Systematic reviews(SRs)synthesize and evaluate data,mainly from randomized trials,which then guides the development of clinical recommendations in evidence-based medicine.However,the data and methodological...BACKGROUND Systematic reviews(SRs)synthesize and evaluate data,mainly from randomized trials,which then guides the development of clinical recommendations in evidence-based medicine.However,the data and methodological information in the included papers can often be lacking or unclear,and reviewers usually need to contact the authors of included studies for clarifications.Contacting authors is recommended,but it is unclear how often SR teams do it,or what the level of response is.AIM To investigate how often reviewers undertake contact with the authors of included randomized controlled trials(RCTs)for clarification on data and risk of bias concerns,to explore the factors that influence whether SR authors contact or do not contact the authors,and the content and level of responses.METHODS We conducted a systematic electronic database search in MEDLINE using the search string“(systematic review)”AND“(RCT OR randomized OR trial)”for articles published between 1 January 2024 and 19 February 2024,without language restrictions.Screening and data extraction was done independently by two reviewers,and conflicts resolved by a senior author.Contact authors of included SRs were contacted for clarifications.RESULTS Of the 329 included SRs,38%(n=125)explicitly mentioned contact with the authors of included studies.The remaining 62%(n=204)did not.We attempted contact with all SR teams for clarifications and received 90 responses(19.4%).Of the 50 respondents who did not explicitly mention contact in their SRs,25(50%)replied that they did make contact.We received a total of 64 responses on the level and content of information sought.The mean±SD contacts SR teams made were 10(10),replies received 5(6.7),and response waiting time 10.1(28.3)weeks.Resources,time,poor previous experience,perceived likelihood of poor response and bias concerns were reported as barriers to attempting contact.CONCLUSION The majority of SRs published in 2024 did not confirm seeking clarifying or missing information from primary study authors.However,SR teams reported that 50%of contacted primary authors respond.Additional research can clarify this rate of response and establish methods to increase the integration of this core methodological element in SRs.展开更多

The physical layer key generation technique provides an efficient method,which utilizes the natural dynamics of wireless channel.However,there are some extremely challenging security scenarios such as static or quasi-...The physical layer key generation technique provides an efficient method,which utilizes the natural dynamics of wireless channel.However,there are some extremely challenging security scenarios such as static or quasi-static environment,which lead to the low randomness of generated keys.Meanwhile,the coefficients of the static channel may be dropped into the guard space and discarded by the quantization approach,which causes low key generation rate.To tackle these issues,we propose a random coefficient-moving product based wireless key generation scheme(RCMP-WKG),where new random resources with remarkable fluctuations can be obtained by applying random coefficient and by moving product on the legitimate nodes.Furthermore,appropriate quantization approaches are used to increase the key generation rate.Moreover,the security of our proposed scheme is evaluated by analyzing different attacks and the eavesdropper’s mean square error(MSE).The simulation results reveal that the proposed scheme can achieve better performances in key capacity,key inconsistency rate(KIR)and key generation rate(KGR)compared with the prior works in static environment.Besides,the proposed scheme can deteriorate the MSE performance of the eavesdropper and improve the key generation performance of legitimate nodes by controlling the length of the moving product.展开更多

Objective Observational studies have shown inconsistent associations of loneliness or social isolation(SI)with ischemic heart disease(IHD),with unknown mediators.Methods Using data from genome-wide association studies...Objective Observational studies have shown inconsistent associations of loneliness or social isolation(SI)with ischemic heart disease(IHD),with unknown mediators.Methods Using data from genome-wide association studies of predominantly European ancestry,we performed a bidirectional two-sample Mendelian Randomization(MR)study to estimate causal effects of loneliness(N=487,647)and SI traits on IHD(N=184,305).SI traits included whether individuals lived alone,participated in various types of social activities,and how often they had contact with friends or family(N=459,830 to 461,369).A network MR study was conducted to evaluate the mediating roles of 20 candidate mediators,including metabolic,behavioral and psychological factors.Results Loneliness increased IHD risk(OR=2.129;95%confidence interval[CI]:1.380 to 3.285),mediated by body fat percentage,waist-hip ratio,total cholesterol,and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol.For SI traits,only fewer social activities increased IHD risk(OR=1.815;95%CI:1.189 to 2.772),mediated by hypertension,high-density lipoprotein cholesterol,triglycerides,fasting insulin,and smoking cessation.No reverse causality of IHD with loneliness and SI was found.Conclusion These findings suggested more attention should be paid to individuals who feel lonely and have fewer social activities to prevent IHD,with several mediators as prioritized targets for intervention.展开更多
Objective Several epidemiological observational studies have related particulate matter(PM)exposure to Inflammatory bowel disease(IBD),but many confounding factors make it difficult to draw causal links from observati...Objective Several epidemiological observational studies have related particulate matter(PM)exposure to Inflammatory bowel disease(IBD),but many confounding factors make it difficult to draw causal links from observational studies.The objective of this study was to explore the causal association between PM_(2.5)exposure,its absorbance,and IBD.Methods We assessed the association of PM_(2.5)and PM_(2.5)absorbance with the two primary forms of IBD(Crohn’s disease[CD]and ulcerative colitis[UC])using Mendelian randomization(MR)to explore the causal relationship.We conducted two-sample MR analyses with aggregated data from the UK Biobank genome-wide association study.Single-nucleotide polymorphisms linked with PM_(2.5)concentrations or their absorbance were used as instrumental variables(IVs).We used inverse variance weighting(IVW)as the primary analytical approach and four other standard methods as supplementary analyses for quality control.Results The results of MR demonstrated that PM_(2.5)had an adverse influence on UC risk(odds ratio[OR]=1.010;95%confidence interval[CI]=1.001–1.019,P=0.020).Meanwhile,the results of IVW showed that PM_(2.5)absorbance was also causally associated with UC(OR=1.012;95%CI=1.004–1.019,P=0.002).We observed no causal relationship between PM_(2.5),PM_(2.5)absorbance,and CD.The results of sensitivity analysis indicated the absence of heterogeneity or pleiotropy,ensuring the reliability of MR results.Conclusion Based on two-sample MR analyses,there are potential positive causal relationships between PM_(2.5),PM_(2.5)absorbance,and UC.展开更多
BACKGROUND Pharmacological treatments are commonly used in individuals experiencing perinatal depression(PPD);however,a debate regarding the reproductive safety of antidepressants is ongoing.Many pregnant women opt to...BACKGROUND Pharmacological treatments are commonly used in individuals experiencing perinatal depression(PPD);however,a debate regarding the reproductive safety of antidepressants is ongoing.Many pregnant women opt to discontinue antidepressant out of concern about potential negative effects on the developing fetus,while slow and ineffective antidepressant medications hinder improved outcomes in women with PPD.In recent years,bright light therapy(BLT)has gained traction as a treatment option for PPD;however,clinical trials findings examining the efficacy of BLT in this population have been inconclusive.AIM To validate the feasibility and safety of BLT for the treatment of PPD.METHODS We performed a meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials of patients with PPD treated with BLT vs placebo following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis.We searched PubMed,Embase,the Cochrane Library,and Web of Science for randomized controlled studies published up to December 2023.The results were evaluated using the standardized mean difference of improvement for depression scores and odds ratios(ORs)for remission rate,response rate,incidence of adverse events,and dropout rate.RESULTS The BLT group had higher PPD response rate[50.68%vs 33.08%;OR=2.05;95% confidence interval(CI):1.25-3.35;P=0.004;I^(2)=35%]and remission rate(54.10%vs 18.52%;OR=5.00;95%CI:2.09-11.99;P=0.0003;I^(2)=0%)than the placebo group.Improvements in depression scores were higher in the BLT group than the placebo group for the overall efficacy(standardized mean difference=-0.47;95%CI:-0.80 to-0.13;P=0.007).No significant differences between the two groups in drop-outs(21.84%vs 29.63%;OR=0.63;95%CI:0.31-1.29;P=0.21;I^(2)=0%)or adverse events(17.89%vs 9.68%;OR=2.01;95%CI:0.95-4.25;P=0.07;I^(2)=0%)were observed.CONCLUSION BLT can potentially treat PPD,showing better results than the control group in this study.BLT is effective and safe and could increase the available therapeutic options for PPD.展开更多
The agricultural Internet of Things(IoT)system is a critical component of modern smart agriculture,and its security risk assessment methods have garnered increasing attention from the industry.Current agricultural IoT...The agricultural Internet of Things(IoT)system is a critical component of modern smart agriculture,and its security risk assessment methods have garnered increasing attention from the industry.Current agricultural IoT security risk assessment methods primarily rely on expert judgment,introducing subjective factors that reduce the credibility of the assessment results.To address this issue,this study constructed a dataset for agricultural IoT security risk assessment based on real-world security reports.A PCARF algorithm,built on random forest principles,was proposed,incorporating ensemble learning strategies to enhance prediction accuracy.Compared to the second-best model,the proposed model demonstrated a 2.7%increase in accuracy,a 3.4%improvement in recall rate,a 3.1%rise in Area Under the Curve(AUC),and a 7.9%boost in Matthews Correlation Coefficient(MCC).Extensive comparative experiments showed that the proposed model outperforms others in prediction accuracy and robustness.展开更多
BACKGROUND:This study aims to explore the causal relationship of body weight,body mass index(BMI),and waist circumference (WC) with the risk of cardiac arrest (CA) using two-sample Mendelian randomization (MR).METHODS...BACKGROUND:This study aims to explore the causal relationship of body weight,body mass index(BMI),and waist circumference (WC) with the risk of cardiac arrest (CA) using two-sample Mendelian randomization (MR).METHODS:Data were summarized using genome-wide association studies (GWAS).Twosample MR analyses were performed using the inverse variance weighting (IVW) method,the weighted median method,and the MR-Egger analysis.Heterogeneity test and sensitivity analysis were performed using Cochran’s Q test and the leave-one-out method,respectively.The Steiger test was used to detect reverse causality.Bayesian model-averaged MR was used to identify the most influential risk factors.RESULTS:A total of 13 GWAS data were collected for BMI,body weight and WC.IVW analyses showed a positive correlation of body weight,BMI,and WC with CA (all OR>1 and P<0.05),with MR-Egger and weighted median methods confirming the IVW findings.No horizontal pleiotropy or heterogeneity was observed.Sensitivity analysis indicated that no single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP) caused significant changes in overall causality.Bayesian model-averaged MR was also used to rank causality based on marginal inclusion probability (MIP),and the corresponding modelaveraged causal estimate (MACE) were confirmed,which indicated that WC (GWAS ID:ukb-b-9405)was the highest-ranked risk factor (MIP=0.119,MACE=0.011);its posterior probability was 0.057.A total of 14 sex-specific GWAS data on weight,BMI,and WC were analyzed in relationship with CA,and the MR results showed no significant effects of sex-specific factors.CONCLUSION:Body weight,BMI,and WC are causally associated with an increased risk of CA,with WC identified as the most important risk factor.展开更多
Objective:To evaluate the impact of subcutaneous tunneling on peripherally inserted central catheters(PICCs)dislodgement and malposition.Dislodged or malpositioned PICCs can lead to improper treatment.The subcutaneous...Objective:To evaluate the impact of subcutaneous tunneling on peripherally inserted central catheters(PICCs)dislodgement and malposition.Dislodged or malpositioned PICCs can lead to improper treatment.The subcutaneous tunneling strategy may be effective,but there is insufficient evidence,and proximal movement has not been explored.Methods:We randomized 630 patients who needed PICCs placement to either the tunneled PICCs(experimental group)or the non-tunneled PICCs(control group).Dislodgement and malposition of the catheter were the primary outcomes,and catheter-related infection(CRI)and catheter-related thrombosis(CRT)were the secondary outcomes.Results:Subcutaneous tunneling does not significantly reduce distal catheter movement,but it significantly reduces proximal catheter movement(4.3%vs.9.9%,P=0.007),which may explain the lower incidence of CRI(2.0%vs.5.3%,P=0.030)and CRT(3.6%vs.12.5%,P<0.001).Conclusions:Although subcutaneous tunneling does not significantly improve catheter prolapse,it should still be used clinically because proximal catheter movement can be a more serious problem associated with CRI and CRT.展开更多

文摘The proliferation of robot accounts on social media platforms has posed a significant negative impact,necessitating robust measures to counter network anomalies and safeguard content integrity.Social robot detection has emerged as a pivotal yet intricate task,aimed at mitigating the dissemination of misleading information.While graphbased approaches have attained remarkable performance in this realm,they grapple with a fundamental limitation:the homogeneity assumption in graph convolution allows social robots to stealthily evade detection by mingling with genuine human profiles.To unravel this challenge and thwart the camouflage tactics,this work proposed an innovative social robot detection framework based on enhanced HOmogeneity and Random Forest(HORFBot).At the core of HORFBot lies a homogeneous graph enhancement strategy,intricately woven with edge-removal techniques,tometiculously dissect the graph intomultiple revealing subgraphs.Subsequently,leveraging the power of contrastive learning,the proposed methodology meticulously trains multiple graph convolutional networks,each honed to discern nuances within these tailored subgraphs.The culminating stage involves the fusion of these feature-rich base classifiers,harmoniously aggregating their insights to produce a comprehensive detection outcome.Extensive experiments on three social robot detection datasets have shown that this method effectively improves the accuracy of social robot detection and outperforms comparative methods.

文摘To improve the efficiency of air quality analysis and the accuracy of predictions, this paper proposes a composite method based on Vector Autoregressive (VAR) and Random Forest (RF) models. In the theoretical section, the model introduction and estimation algorithms are provided. In the empirical analysis section, global air quality data from 2022 to 2024 are used, and the proposed method is applied. Specifically, principal component analysis (PCA) is first conducted, and then VAR and Random Forest methods are used for prediction on the reduced-dimensional data. The results show that the RMSE of the hybrid model is 45.27, significantly lower than the 49.11 of the VAR model alone, verifying its superiority. The stability and predictive performance of the model are effectively enhanced.
文摘Gassy soils are distributed in relatively shallow layers the Quaternary deposit in Hangzhou Bay area. The shallow gassy soils significantly affect the construction of underground projects. Proper characterization of spatial distribution of shallow gassy soils is indispensable prior to construction of underground projects in the area. Due to the costly conditions required in the site investigation for gassy soils, only a limited number of gas pressure data can be obtained in engineering practice, which leads to the uncertainty in characterizing spatial distribution of gassy soils. Determining the number of boreholes for investigating gassy soils and their corresponding locations is pivotal to reducing construction risk induced by gassy soils. However, this primarily relies on the engineering experience in the current site investigation practice. This study develops a probabilistic site investigation optimization method for planning investigation schemes (including the number and locations of boreholes) of gassy soils based on the conditional random field and Monte Carlo simulation. The proposed method aims to provide an optimal investigation scheme before the site investigation based on prior knowledge. Finally, the proposed approach is illustrated using a case study.
文摘OBJECTIVE:In recent years,the number of clinical research reports on acupuncture and manipulation for the treatment of greater occipital neuralgia has gradually increased,but the quality is uneven.There is currently no literature evaluating the quality of published reports,which is not conducive to the promotion of clinical use of these therapies.Therefore,this article assessed the reporting quality of randomized controlled trials on acupuncture and manipulation for greater occipital neuralgia.METHODS:Cochrane Library,PubMed,Web of Science,Embase,China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),VIP,WanFang Data,and Chinese BioMedical Literature Database(CBM)from inception to May 20,2024 were searched.The reporting quality of included randomized controlled trials was independently evaluated by two investigators using the CONSORT statement,STRICTA checklist,and Cochrane bias of risk assessment tool.A third investigator resolved any disagreement.RESULTS:A total of 62 articles were included.Based on the CONSORT statement,59.46%(22/37)of all entries had a reporting rate of less than 50%,mainly including“Identification as a randomized trial in the title(1/62,1.61%),”“How sample size was determined(7/62,11.29%),”“Implementation(1/62,1.61%),”“Blinding(1/62,1.61%),”and“Reports of Funding(4/62,6.45%).”According to the STRICTA checklist,29.41%(5/17)of all entries had a reporting rate of less than 50%,mainly including“Details of other interventions(7/58,12.07%),”“Setting and context of treatment(0/58,0%),”and“Description of participating acupuncturists(0/58,0%).”CONCLUSION:The reporting quality of randomized controlled trials on acupuncture and manipulation therapy for greater occipital neuralgia remains low.Future researchers need to make greater efforts to strictly adhere to the CONSORT statement and STRICTA checklist during trial design,implementation,and reporting.This will facilitate the standardization of research in this field and enhance the reliability and reproducibility of the research results.

文摘Sudden and unforeseen seismic failures of coal mine overburden(OB)dump slopes interrupt mining operations,cause loss of lives and delay the production of coal.Consideration of the spatial heterogeneity of OB dump materials is imperative for an adequate evaluation of the seismic stability of OB dump slopes.In this study,pseudo-static seismic stability analyses are carried out for an OB dump slope by considering the material parameters obtained from an insitu field investigation.Spatial heterogeneity is simulated through use of the random finite element method(RFEM)and the random limit equilibrium method(RLEM)and a comparative study is presented.Combinations of horizontal and vertical spatial correlation lengths were considered for simulating isotropic and anisotropic random fields within the OB dump slope.Seismic performances of the slope have been reported through the probability of failure and reliability index.It was observed that the RLEM approach overestimates failure probability(P_(f))by considering seismic stability with spatial heterogeneity.The P_(f)was observed to increase with an increase in the coefficient of variation of friction angle of the dump materials.Further,it was inferred that the RLEM approach may not be adequately applicable for assessing the seismic stability of an OB dump slope for a horizontal seismic coefficient that is more than or equal to 0.1.

文摘This paper explores the synergistic effect of a model combining Elastic Net and Random Forest in online fraud detection.The study selects a public network dataset containing 1781 data records,divides the dataset by 70%for training and 30%for validation,and analyses the correlation between features using a correlation matrix.The experimental results show that the Elastic Net feature selection method generally outperforms PCA in all models,especially when combined with the Random Forest and XGBoost models,and the ElasticNet+Random Forest model achieves the highest accuracy of 0.968 and AUC value of 0.983,while the Kappa and MCC also reached 0.839 and 0.844 respectively,showing extremely high consistency and correlation.This indicates that combining Elastic Net feature selection and Random Forest model has significant performance advantages in online fraud detection.

文摘Background:The aim of this study was to analyze the bi-directional causal relation-ship between lipid profile and characteristics related to muscle atrophy by using a bi-directional Mendelian randomization(MR)analysis.Methods:The appendicular lean mass(ALM),whole body fat-free mass(WBFFM)and trunk fat-free mass(TFFM)were used as genome-wide association study(GWAS)data for evaluating muscle mass;the usual walking pace(UWP)and low grip strength(LGS)were used as GWAS data for evaluating muscle strength;and the triglycerides(TG),total cholesterol(TC),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL),low density lipo-protein cholesterol(LDL),apolipoprotein A-1(Apo A-1),and apolipoprotein B(Apo B)were used as GWAS data for evaluating lipid profile.For specific investigations,we mainly employed inverse variance weighting for causal estimation and MR-Egger for pleiotropy analysis.Results:MR results showed that the lipid profile predicted by genetic variants was negatively correlated with muscle mass,positively correlated with UWP,and was not causally correlated with LGS.On the other hand,the muscle mass predicted by genetic variants was negatively correlated with lipid profile,the UWP predicted by genetic variants was mainly positively correlated with lipid profile,while the LGS pre-dicted by genetic variants had no relevant causal relationship with lipid profile.Conclusions:Findings of this MR analysis suggest that hyperlipidemia may affect muscle mass and lead to muscle atrophy,but has no significant effect on muscle strength.On the other hand,increased muscle mass may reduce the incidence of dyslipidemia.

文摘Evaluation of water richness in sandstone is an important research topic in the prevention and control of mine water disasters,and the water richness in sandstone is closely related to its porosity.The refl ection seismic exploration data have high-density spatial sampling information,which provides an important data basis for the prediction of sandstone porosity in coal seam roofs by using refl ection seismic data.First,the basic principles of the variational mode decomposition(VMD)method and the random forest method are introduced.Then,the geological model of coal seam roof sandstone is constructed,seismic forward modeling is conducted,and random noise is added.The decomposition eff ects of the empirical mode decomposition(EMD)method and VMD method on noisy signals are compared and analyzed.The test results show that the fi rstorder intrinsic mode functions(IMF1)and IMF2 decomposed by the VMD method contain the main eff ective components of seismic signals.A prediction process of sandstone porosity in coal seam roofs based on the combination of VMD and random forest method is proposed.The feasibility and eff ectiveness of the method are verifi ed by trial calculation in the porosity prediction of model data.Taking the actual coalfi eld refl ection seismic data as an example,the sandstone porosity of the 8 coal seam roof is predicted.The application results show the potential application value of the new porosity prediction method proposed in this study.This method has important theoretical guiding signifi cance for evaluating water richness in coal seam roof sandstone and the prevention and control of mine water disasters.
文摘BACKGROUND Systematic reviews(SRs)synthesize and evaluate data,mainly from randomized trials,which then guides the development of clinical recommendations in evidence-based medicine.However,the data and methodological information in the included papers can often be lacking or unclear,and reviewers usually need to contact the authors of included studies for clarifications.Contacting authors is recommended,but it is unclear how often SR teams do it,or what the level of response is.AIM To investigate how often reviewers undertake contact with the authors of included randomized controlled trials(RCTs)for clarification on data and risk of bias concerns,to explore the factors that influence whether SR authors contact or do not contact the authors,and the content and level of responses.METHODS We conducted a systematic electronic database search in MEDLINE using the search string“(systematic review)”AND“(RCT OR randomized OR trial)”for articles published between 1 January 2024 and 19 February 2024,without language restrictions.Screening and data extraction was done independently by two reviewers,and conflicts resolved by a senior author.Contact authors of included SRs were contacted for clarifications.RESULTS Of the 329 included SRs,38%(n=125)explicitly mentioned contact with the authors of included studies.The remaining 62%(n=204)did not.We attempted contact with all SR teams for clarifications and received 90 responses(19.4%).Of the 50 respondents who did not explicitly mention contact in their SRs,25(50%)replied that they did make contact.We received a total of 64 responses on the level and content of information sought.The mean±SD contacts SR teams made were 10(10),replies received 5(6.7),and response waiting time 10.1(28.3)weeks.Resources,time,poor previous experience,perceived likelihood of poor response and bias concerns were reported as barriers to attempting contact.CONCLUSION The majority of SRs published in 2024 did not confirm seeking clarifying or missing information from primary study authors.However,SR teams reported that 50%of contacted primary authors respond.Additional research can clarify this rate of response and establish methods to increase the integration of this core methodological element in SRs.

文摘In wireless networks,the prioritized transmission scheme is essential for accommodating different priority classes of users sharing a common channel.In this paper,we propose a prioritized random access scheme based on compute-and-forward,referred to as expanding window sign-compute diversity slotted ALOHA(EW-SCDSA).We improve the expanding window technique and apply it to a high-throughput random access scheme,i.e.,the signcompute diversity slotted ALOHA(SCDSA)scheme,to implement prioritized random access.We analyze the probability of user resolution in each priority class utilizing a bipartite graph and derive the corresponding lower bounds,the effectiveness of which is validated through simulation experiments.Simulation results demonstrate that the EW-SCDSA scheme can provide heterogeneous reliability performance for various user priority classes and significantly outperforms the existing advanced prioritized random access scheme.

文摘The physical layer key generation technique provides an efficient method,which utilizes the natural dynamics of wireless channel.However,there are some extremely challenging security scenarios such as static or quasi-static environment,which lead to the low randomness of generated keys.Meanwhile,the coefficients of the static channel may be dropped into the guard space and discarded by the quantization approach,which causes low key generation rate.To tackle these issues,we propose a random coefficient-moving product based wireless key generation scheme(RCMP-WKG),where new random resources with remarkable fluctuations can be obtained by applying random coefficient and by moving product on the legitimate nodes.Furthermore,appropriate quantization approaches are used to increase the key generation rate.Moreover,the security of our proposed scheme is evaluated by analyzing different attacks and the eavesdropper’s mean square error(MSE).The simulation results reveal that the proposed scheme can achieve better performances in key capacity,key inconsistency rate(KIR)and key generation rate(KGR)compared with the prior works in static environment.Besides,the proposed scheme can deteriorate the MSE performance of the eavesdropper and improve the key generation performance of legitimate nodes by controlling the length of the moving product.

文摘We experimentally analyze the effect of the optical power on the time delay signature identification and the random bit generation in chaotic semiconductor laser with optical feedback.Due to the inevitable noise during the photoelectric detection and analog-digital conversion,the varying of output optical power would change the signal to noise ratio,then impact time delay signature identification and the random bit generation.Our results show that,when the optical power is less than-14 dBm,with the decreasing of the optical power,the actual identified time delay signature degrades and the entropy of the chaotic signal increases.Moreover,the extracted random bit sequence with lower optical power is more easily pass through the randomness testing.

文摘Objective Observational studies have shown inconsistent associations of loneliness or social isolation(SI)with ischemic heart disease(IHD),with unknown mediators.Methods Using data from genome-wide association studies of predominantly European ancestry,we performed a bidirectional two-sample Mendelian Randomization(MR)study to estimate causal effects of loneliness(N=487,647)and SI traits on IHD(N=184,305).SI traits included whether individuals lived alone,participated in various types of social activities,and how often they had contact with friends or family(N=459,830 to 461,369).A network MR study was conducted to evaluate the mediating roles of 20 candidate mediators,including metabolic,behavioral and psychological factors.Results Loneliness increased IHD risk(OR=2.129;95%confidence interval[CI]:1.380 to 3.285),mediated by body fat percentage,waist-hip ratio,total cholesterol,and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol.For SI traits,only fewer social activities increased IHD risk(OR=1.815;95%CI:1.189 to 2.772),mediated by hypertension,high-density lipoprotein cholesterol,triglycerides,fasting insulin,and smoking cessation.No reverse causality of IHD with loneliness and SI was found.Conclusion These findings suggested more attention should be paid to individuals who feel lonely and have fewer social activities to prevent IHD,with several mediators as prioritized targets for intervention.

文摘Objective Several epidemiological observational studies have related particulate matter(PM)exposure to Inflammatory bowel disease(IBD),but many confounding factors make it difficult to draw causal links from observational studies.The objective of this study was to explore the causal association between PM_(2.5)exposure,its absorbance,and IBD.Methods We assessed the association of PM_(2.5)and PM_(2.5)absorbance with the two primary forms of IBD(Crohn’s disease[CD]and ulcerative colitis[UC])using Mendelian randomization(MR)to explore the causal relationship.We conducted two-sample MR analyses with aggregated data from the UK Biobank genome-wide association study.Single-nucleotide polymorphisms linked with PM_(2.5)concentrations or their absorbance were used as instrumental variables(IVs).We used inverse variance weighting(IVW)as the primary analytical approach and four other standard methods as supplementary analyses for quality control.Results The results of MR demonstrated that PM_(2.5)had an adverse influence on UC risk(odds ratio[OR]=1.010;95%confidence interval[CI]=1.001–1.019,P=0.020).Meanwhile,the results of IVW showed that PM_(2.5)absorbance was also causally associated with UC(OR=1.012;95%CI=1.004–1.019,P=0.002).We observed no causal relationship between PM_(2.5),PM_(2.5)absorbance,and CD.The results of sensitivity analysis indicated the absence of heterogeneity or pleiotropy,ensuring the reliability of MR results.Conclusion Based on two-sample MR analyses,there are potential positive causal relationships between PM_(2.5),PM_(2.5)absorbance,and UC.

文摘BACKGROUND Pharmacological treatments are commonly used in individuals experiencing perinatal depression(PPD);however,a debate regarding the reproductive safety of antidepressants is ongoing.Many pregnant women opt to discontinue antidepressant out of concern about potential negative effects on the developing fetus,while slow and ineffective antidepressant medications hinder improved outcomes in women with PPD.In recent years,bright light therapy(BLT)has gained traction as a treatment option for PPD;however,clinical trials findings examining the efficacy of BLT in this population have been inconclusive.AIM To validate the feasibility and safety of BLT for the treatment of PPD.METHODS We performed a meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials of patients with PPD treated with BLT vs placebo following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis.We searched PubMed,Embase,the Cochrane Library,and Web of Science for randomized controlled studies published up to December 2023.The results were evaluated using the standardized mean difference of improvement for depression scores and odds ratios(ORs)for remission rate,response rate,incidence of adverse events,and dropout rate.RESULTS The BLT group had higher PPD response rate[50.68%vs 33.08%;OR=2.05;95% confidence interval(CI):1.25-3.35;P=0.004;I^(2)=35%]and remission rate(54.10%vs 18.52%;OR=5.00;95%CI:2.09-11.99;P=0.0003;I^(2)=0%)than the placebo group.Improvements in depression scores were higher in the BLT group than the placebo group for the overall efficacy(standardized mean difference=-0.47;95%CI:-0.80 to-0.13;P=0.007).No significant differences between the two groups in drop-outs(21.84%vs 29.63%;OR=0.63;95%CI:0.31-1.29;P=0.21;I^(2)=0%)or adverse events(17.89%vs 9.68%;OR=2.01;95%CI:0.95-4.25;P=0.07;I^(2)=0%)were observed.CONCLUSION BLT can potentially treat PPD,showing better results than the control group in this study.BLT is effective and safe and could increase the available therapeutic options for PPD.
文摘The agricultural Internet of Things(IoT)system is a critical component of modern smart agriculture,and its security risk assessment methods have garnered increasing attention from the industry.Current agricultural IoT security risk assessment methods primarily rely on expert judgment,introducing subjective factors that reduce the credibility of the assessment results.To address this issue,this study constructed a dataset for agricultural IoT security risk assessment based on real-world security reports.A PCARF algorithm,built on random forest principles,was proposed,incorporating ensemble learning strategies to enhance prediction accuracy.Compared to the second-best model,the proposed model demonstrated a 2.7%increase in accuracy,a 3.4%improvement in recall rate,a 3.1%rise in Area Under the Curve(AUC),and a 7.9%boost in Matthews Correlation Coefficient(MCC).Extensive comparative experiments showed that the proposed model outperforms others in prediction accuracy and robustness.

文摘BACKGROUND:This study aims to explore the causal relationship of body weight,body mass index(BMI),and waist circumference (WC) with the risk of cardiac arrest (CA) using two-sample Mendelian randomization (MR).METHODS:Data were summarized using genome-wide association studies (GWAS).Twosample MR analyses were performed using the inverse variance weighting (IVW) method,the weighted median method,and the MR-Egger analysis.Heterogeneity test and sensitivity analysis were performed using Cochran’s Q test and the leave-one-out method,respectively.The Steiger test was used to detect reverse causality.Bayesian model-averaged MR was used to identify the most influential risk factors.RESULTS:A total of 13 GWAS data were collected for BMI,body weight and WC.IVW analyses showed a positive correlation of body weight,BMI,and WC with CA (all OR>1 and P<0.05),with MR-Egger and weighted median methods confirming the IVW findings.No horizontal pleiotropy or heterogeneity was observed.Sensitivity analysis indicated that no single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP) caused significant changes in overall causality.Bayesian model-averaged MR was also used to rank causality based on marginal inclusion probability (MIP),and the corresponding modelaveraged causal estimate (MACE) were confirmed,which indicated that WC (GWAS ID:ukb-b-9405)was the highest-ranked risk factor (MIP=0.119,MACE=0.011);its posterior probability was 0.057.A total of 14 sex-specific GWAS data on weight,BMI,and WC were analyzed in relationship with CA,and the MR results showed no significant effects of sex-specific factors.CONCLUSION:Body weight,BMI,and WC are causally associated with an increased risk of CA,with WC identified as the most important risk factor.
文摘Objective:To evaluate the impact of subcutaneous tunneling on peripherally inserted central catheters(PICCs)dislodgement and malposition.Dislodged or malpositioned PICCs can lead to improper treatment.The subcutaneous tunneling strategy may be effective,but there is insufficient evidence,and proximal movement has not been explored.Methods:We randomized 630 patients who needed PICCs placement to either the tunneled PICCs(experimental group)or the non-tunneled PICCs(control group).Dislodgement and malposition of the catheter were the primary outcomes,and catheter-related infection(CRI)and catheter-related thrombosis(CRT)were the secondary outcomes.Results:Subcutaneous tunneling does not significantly reduce distal catheter movement,but it significantly reduces proximal catheter movement(4.3%vs.9.9%,P=0.007),which may explain the lower incidence of CRI(2.0%vs.5.3%,P=0.030)and CRT(3.6%vs.12.5%,P<0.001).Conclusions:Although subcutaneous tunneling does not significantly improve catheter prolapse,it should still be used clinically because proximal catheter movement can be a more serious problem associated with CRI and CRT.
