The paper mainly focuses on the network planning and optimization problem in the 5G telecommunication system based on the numerical investigation.There have been two portions of this work,such as network planning for ...The paper mainly focuses on the network planning and optimization problem in the 5G telecommunication system based on the numerical investigation.There have been two portions of this work,such as network planning for efficient network models and optimization of power allocation in the 5G network.The radio network planning process has been completed based on a specific area.The data rate requirement can be solved by allowing the densification of the system by deploying small cells.The radio network planning scheme is the indispensable platform in arranging a wireless network that encounters convinced coverage method,capacity,and Quality of Service necessities.In this study,the eighty micro base stations and two-hundred mobile stations are deployed in the-15km×15km wide selected area in the Yangon downtown area.The optimization processes were also analyzed based on the source and destination nodes in the 5G network.The base stations’location is minimized and optimized in a selected geographical area with the linear programming technique and analyzed in this study.展开更多

By working in cooperation with the existing commercial telecommunication network. Our scheme enables the frequency, time, and digital data networks to be integrated together and could represent an ideal option of interconnection among scientific institutions.The compensation functions of the time and frequency transfer scheme are set at the client nodes. The complexity of the central node is thus reduced, and future expansion by the addition of further branches will be accomplished more easily.During a performance test in which the ambient temperature fluctuation is 30℃/day, timing signal dissemination stability is achieved to be approximately ±50 ps along 25-km-long fiber spools. After calibration, a timing signal synchronization accuracy of 100 ps is also realized. The proposed scheme offers an option of the construction of large-scale fiber-based frequency and time transfer networks.展开更多

However, it is becoming more and more difficult to measure and analyze these indicators since the fast growing number of performance indicators and the complex relationships between them The existing categories failed to reflect these changes in an adequate way, and the quantitative analysis methods for identifying the characters of those pefformance indicators are still worthy of investigation. The main objective of this paper is to propose a practical methodology for managing and analyzing performance indicators in enterprises, which focuses on building up a performance indicator system and discovering the characters of those performance indicators by applying complex network methods. The structural parameters are identified from regression coefficients and the results are analyzed and compared with another literature. Data and estimation issues are also discussed. With the arrival of the 4G and 5G,the telecommunications networks have experienced a large expansion of these networks.That enabled the integration of many services and adequate flow,thus enabling the operators to res...With the arrival of the 4G and 5G,the telecommunications networks have experienced a large expansion of these networks.That enabled the integration of many services and adequate flow,thus enabling the operators to respond to the growing demand of users.This rapid evolution has given the operators to adapt,their methods to the new technologies that increase.This complexity becomes more important,when these networks include several technologies to access different from the heterogeneous network like in the 4G network.The dimensional new challenges tell the application and the considerable increase in demand for services and the compatibility with existing networks,the management of mobility intercellular of users and it offers a better quality of services.Thus,the proposed solution to meet these new requirements is the sizing of the EPC(Evolved Packet Core)core network to support the 5G access network.For the case of Orange Guinea,this involves setting up an architecture for interconnecting the core networks of Sonfonia and Camayenne.The objectives of our work are of two orders:(1)to propose these solutions and recommendations for the heart network EPC sizing and the deployment to be adopted;(2)supply and architectural interconnection in the heart network EPC and an existing heart network.In our work,the model of traffic in communication that we use to calculate the traffic generated with each technology has link in the network of the heart.展开更多

The communication security problems for these networks are exacerbated by the limited power and energy of the sensor devices. In this paper, we describe the design and implementation of an efficient key management scheme based on low energy adaptive clustering hierarchy(LEACH) for wireless sensor networks. The design of the protocol is motivated by the observation that many sensor nodes in the network play different roles. The paper presents different keys are set to the sensors for meeting different transmitting messages and variable security requirements. Simulation results show that our key management protocol based-on LEACH can achieve better performance. The energy consumption overhead introduced is remarkably low compared with the original Kerberos schemes.展开更多

In this paper, the performance of routing protocols for selected network and the optimum way of utilizing the network resources is proposed, through improving the routing method protocols to obtain the most accurate communication models, which give the best network performance, taking into consideration that the protocol time interval to recalculate the future routing step is agreed to be our performance criteria, which is then used to determine the total amount of incoming traffic normalized at the best network performance with respect to the network capacity as well. Moreover, adaptive routing evaluation methods have been mathematically investigated in this work for telecommunication networks (TN), more precisely, developing the infrared radiation (IR) routing methods for hybrid TN applications, in terms of implementation conditions at a certain guaranteed quality of service, where we give a particular interest in analyzing routing methods based on the fact that the distribution information is contained in the routing variables, rather than in the state variables. The protocol that deals with the unbalanced traffic distribution over TN nodes has been investigated in this paper as well, and simulation results show good progress in the proposed protocol over the traditional protocols.展开更多

This system is characterized by the following features: (i) it handles a user profile and exploits it jointly with suitable network resource management techniques to maximize user satisfaction; (ii) it is capable of operating in a large variety of telecommunications networks; (iii) it is semi-automatic; (iv) it exploits XML for guaranteeing a light, versatile and standard mechanism for information representation, storing and exchange. In this paper the basic features of the system are discussed in details. Furthermore, the main results of a performance evaluation study in UMTS environment, aiming at comparing X-MAQoS with alternative agent-based approaches for handling user access to telecommunications networks, are reported.展开更多
Telecommunication fraud has run rampant recently worldwide.However,previous studies depend highly on expert knowledge-based feature engineering to extract behavior information,which cannot adapt to the fastchanging mo...Telecommunication fraud has run rampant recently worldwide.However,previous studies depend highly on expert knowledge-based feature engineering to extract behavior information,which cannot adapt to the fastchanging modes of fraudulent subscribers.Therefore,we propose a new taxonomy that needs no hand-designed features but directly takes raw Call DetailRecords(CDR)data as input for the classifier.Concretely,we proposed a fraud detectionmethod using a convolutional neural network(CNN)by taking CDR data as images and applying computer vision techniques like image augmentation.Comprehensive experiments on the real-world dataset from the 2020 Digital Sichuan Innovation Competition show that our proposed method outperforms the classic methods in many metrics with excellent stability in both the changes of quantity and the balance of samples.Compared with the state-of-the-art method,the proposed method has achieved about 89.98%F1-score and 92.93%AUC,improving 2.97%and 0.48%,respectively.With the augmentation technique,the model’s performance can be further enhanced by a 91.09%F1-score and a 94.49%AUC respectively.Beyond telecommunication fraud detection,our method can also be extended to other text datasets to automatically discover new features in the view of computer vision and its powerful methods.展开更多

To comply with the IEEE 802.11 standards, a scheme to implement MAC isolation in WLAN access points by re-designing the Distribution_Service component of the MAC state machine is proposed. A variable named dotl 1 Isolation is defined to determine whether the MAC level communication between wireless stations in the same BSS is permitted or not. Finally, a design solution based on MPC860 hardware and embedded Linux software for PWLAN access point is specified. The simulation results of MAC isolation for PWLAN show that the proposed scheme is feasible and effective.展开更多
