目的验证摩腹法干预腹泻型肠易激综合征(irritable bowel syndrome with predominant diarrhea,IBS-D)模型大鼠效果,阐明腹部推拿对IBS-D模型大鼠肠黏膜紧密连接的影响。方法采用母婴分离法+慢性应激法制备IBS-D大鼠模型。将30只SD雄性... 目的验证摩腹法干预腹泻型肠易激综合征(irritable bowel syndrome with predominant diarrhea,IBS-D)模型大鼠效果,阐明腹部推拿对IBS-D模型大鼠肠黏膜紧密连接的影响。方法采用母婴分离法+慢性应激法制备IBS-D大鼠模型。将30只SD雄性大鼠,随机分为正常组、模型组、摩腹组,每组10只。采用粪便含水量测试、粪便性状评分评价干预效果。利用透射电镜观察结肠黏膜组织状态。应用Western-blot法检测大鼠结肠组织中ZO-1蛋白表达。结果(1)与模型组比较,摩腹组粪便含水率、粪便性状评分明显下降(P<0.05),接近正常组(P>0.05)。(2)透射电镜下观察,模型组肠上皮细胞胞浆内有空泡,线粒体大量减少,分布不均,少见完整细胞核,细胞形态大小不一,细胞间间隙变大,紧密连接结构遭到破坏,肠上皮微绒毛缺如;摩腹干预后,肠上皮细胞质空泡减少得到恢复,线粒体增多,结构清晰,细胞核结构可见,细胞间间隙变窄,紧密连接结构部分恢复,肠上皮微绒毛分布不均部分短缺。(3)与正常组相比,模型组ZO-1蛋白表达明显下调(P<0.05),当予以摩腹干预后,ZO-1蛋白表达明显上调(P<0.05)。结论摩腹法能够通过上调ZO-1蛋白表达对大鼠肠上皮紧密连接产生影响,进而对肠上皮紧密连接和肠上皮通透性产生影响,进而改善IBS-D大鼠肠道症状。 展开更多

Then on the basis of the boundary element-free method (B... The interpolating moving least-squares (IMLS) method is discussed first in this paper. And the formulae of the IMLS method obtained by Lancaster are revised. Then on the basis of the boundary element-free method (BEFM), combining the boundary integral equation (BIE) method with the IMLS method, the improved boundary element-free method (IBEFM) for two-dimensional potential problems is presented, and the corresponding formulae of the IBEFM are obtained. In the BEFM, boundary conditions are applied directly, but the shape function in the MLS does not satisfy the property of the Kronecker ~ function. This is a problem of the BEFM, and must be solved theoretically. In the IMLS method, when the shape function satisfies the property of the Kronecker 5 function, then the boundary conditions, in the meshless method based on the IMLS method, can be applied directly. Then the IBEFM, based on the IMLS method, is a direct meshless boundary integral equation method in which the basic unknown quantity is the real solution of the nodal variables, and the boundary conditions can be applied directly and easily, thus it gives a greater computational precision. In order to obtain a high-quality weld during the laser welding process, extracting the characteristic parameters of weld pool is an important issue for automated welding. In this paper, the type 304 austenitic stainless steel is welded by a 5 kW high-power fiber laser and a high-speed camera is employed to capture the topside images of weld pools. Then we propose a robust visual-detection approach for the molten pool based on the supervised descent method. It provides an elegant framework for representing the outline of a weld pool and is especially efficient for weld pool detection in the presence of strong uncertainties and disturbances. Finally, welding experimental results verified that the proposed approach can extract the weld pool boundary accurately, which will lay a solid foundation for controlling the weld quality of fiber laser welding process. 展开更多

In this study, the BKM is first used to calculate the free vibration of free and simply-upported thin plates. Applying numerical simulation technology to investigate fluid-solid interaction involving complex curved bound-aries is vital in aircraft design,ocean,and construction engineering.However,current methods such as Lattice Boltzmann(LBM)and the immersion boundary method based on solid ratio(IMB)have limitations in identifying custom curved boundaries.Meanwhile,IBM based on velocity correction(IBM-VC)suffers from inaccuracies and numerical instability.Therefore,this study introduces a high-accuracy curve boundary recognition method(IMB-CB),which identifies boundary nodes by moving the search box,and corrects the weighting function in LBM by calculating the solid ratio of the boundary nodes,achieving accurate recognition of custom curve boundaries.In addition,curve boundary image and dot methods are utilized to verify IMB-CB.The findings revealed that IMB-CB can accurately identify the boundary,showing an error of less than 1.8%with 500 lattices.Also,the flow in the custom curve boundary and aerodynamic characteristics of the NACA0012 airfoil are calculated and compared to IBM-VC.Results showed that IMB-CB yields lower lift and drag coefficient errors than IBM-VC,with a 1.45%drag coefficient error.In addition,the characteristic curve of IMB-CB is very stable,whereas that of IBM-VC is not.For the moving boundary problem,LBM-IMB-CB with discrete element method(DEM)is capable of accurately simulating the physical phenomena of multi-moving particle flow in complex curved pipelines.This research proposes a new curve boundary recognition method,which can significantly promote the stability and accuracy of fluid-solid interaction simulations and thus has huge applications in engineering. 展开更多

In this study,a wavelet multi-resolution interpolation Galerkin method(WMIGM)is proposed to solve linear singularly perturbed boundary value problems.Unlike conventional wavelet schemes,the proposed algorithm can be readily extended to special node generation techniques,such as the Shishkin node.Such a wavelet method allows a high degree of local refinement of the nodal distribution to efficiently capture localized steep gradients.All the shape functions possess the Kronecker delta property,making the imposition of boundary conditions as easy as that in the finite element method.Four numerical examples are studied to demonstrate the validity and accuracy of the proposedwavelet method.The results showthat the use ofmodified Shishkin nodes can significantly reduce numerical oscillation near the boundary layer.Compared with many other methods,the proposed method possesses satisfactory accuracy and efficiency.The theoretical and numerical results demonstrate that the order of theε-uniform convergence of this wavelet method can reach 5. 展开更多

For reaction-diffusion equations in irregular domains with moving boundaries,the numerical stability constraints from the reaction and diffusion terms often require very restricted time step sizes,while complex geometries may lead to difficulties in the accuracy when discretizing the high-order derivatives on grid points near the boundary.It is very challenging to design numerical methods that can efficiently and accurately handle both difficulties.Applying an implicit scheme may be able to remove the stability constraints on the time step,however,it usually requires solving a large global system of nonlinear equations for each time step,and the computational cost could be significant.Integration factor(IF)or exponential time differencing(ETD)methods are one of the popular methods for temporal partial differential equations(PDEs)among many other methods.In our paper,we couple ETD methods with an embedded boundary method to solve a system of reaction-diffusion equations with complex geometries.In particular,we rewrite all ETD schemes into a linear combination of specificФ-functions and apply one state-of-the-art algorithm to compute the matrix-vector multiplications,which offers significant computational advantages with adaptive Krylov subspaces.In addition,we extend this method by incorporating the level set method to solve the free boundary problem.The accuracy,stability,and efficiency of the developed method are demonstrated by numerical examples. 展开更多

The Boundary Element Method for Ordinary State-Based Peridynamics

The peridynamics(PD),as a promising nonlocal continuum mechanics theory,shines in solving discontinuous problems.Up to now,various numerical methods,such as the peridynamic mesh-free particlemethod(PD-MPM),peridynamic finite element method(PD-FEM),and peridynamic boundary element method(PD-BEM),have been proposed.PD-BEM,in particular,outperforms other methods by eliminating spurious boundary softening,efficiently handling infinite problems,and ensuring high computational accuracy.However,the existing PD-BEM is constructed exclusively for bond-based peridynamics(BBPD)with fixed Poisson’s ratio,limiting its applicability to crack propagation problems and scenarios involving infinite or semi-infinite problems.In this paper,we address these limitations by introducing the boundary element method(BEM)for ordinary state-based peridynamics(OSPD-BEM).Additionally,we present a crack propagationmodel embeddedwithin the framework ofOSPD-BEM to simulate crack propagations.To validate the effectiveness of OSPD-BEM,we conduct four numerical examples:deformation under uniaxial loading,crack initiation in a double-notched specimen,wedge-splitting test,and threepoint bending test.The results demonstrate the accuracy and efficiency of OSPD-BEM,highlighting its capability to successfully eliminate spurious boundary softening phenomena under varying Poisson’s ratios.Moreover,OSPDBEMsignificantly reduces computational time and exhibits greater consistencywith experimental results compared to PD-MPM. 展开更多

The hydrodynamic performance of a high forward-speed ship in obliquely propagating waves is numerically examined to assess both free motions and wave field in comparison with a low forward-speed ship.This numerical model is based on the time-domain potential flow theory and higher-order boundary element method,where an analytical expression is completely expanded to determine the base-unsteady coupling flow imposed on the moving condition of the ship.The ship in the numerical model may possess different advancing speeds,i.e.stationary,low speed,and high speed.The role of the water depth,wave height,wave period,and incident wave angle is analyzed by means of the accurate numerical model.It is found that the resonant motions of the high forward-speed ship are triggered by comparison with the stationary one.More specifically,a higher forward speed generates a V-shaped wave region with a larger elevation,which induces stronger resonant motions corresponding to larger wave periods.The shoaling effect is adverse to the motion of the low-speed ship,but is beneficial to the resonant motion of the high-speed ship.When waves obliquely propagate toward the ship,the V-shaped wave region would be broken due to the coupling effect between roll and pitch motions.It is also demonstrated that the maximum heave motion occurs in beam seas for stationary cases but occurs in head waves for high speeds.However,the variation of the pitch motion with period is hardly affected by wave incident angles. 展开更多

A method combining the immersed boundary technique and a multi- relaxation-time (MRT) lattice Boltzmann flux solver (LBFS) is presented for numerical simulation of incompressible flows over circular and elliptic cylinders and NACA 0012 Airfoil. The method uses a simple Cartesian mesh to simulate flows past immersed complicated bodies. With the Chapman-Enskog expansion analysis, a transform is performed between the Navier-Stokes and lattice Boltzmann equations (LBEs). The LBFS is used to discretize the macroscopic differential equations with a finite volume method and evaluate the interface fluxes through local reconstruction of the lattice Boltzmann solution. The immersed boundary technique is used to correct the intermediate velocity around the solid boundary to satisfy the no-slip boundary condition. Agreement of simulation results with the data found in the literature shows reliability of the proposed method in simulating laminar flows on a Cartesian mesh. 展开更多

A novel symplectic superposition method has been proposed and developed for plate and shell problems in recent years.The method has yielded many new analytic solutions due to its rigorousness.In this study,the first endeavor is made to further developed the symplectic superposition method for the free vibration of rectangular thin plates with mixed boundary constraints on an edge.The Hamiltonian system-based governing equation is first introduced such that the mathematical techniques in the symplectic space are applied.The solution procedure incorporates separation of variables,symplectic eigen solution and superposition.The analytic solution of an original problem is finally obtained by a set of equations via the equivalence to the superposition of some elaborated subproblems.The natural frequency and mode shape results for representative plates with both clamped and simply supported boundary constraints imposed on the same edge are reported for benchmark use.The present method can be extended to more challenging problems that cannot be solved by conventional analytic methods. 展开更多

Due to the wide application of closely spaced multi-well horizontal pads for developing unconventional gas reservoirs,interference between wells becomes a significant concern.Communication between wells mainly occurs through natural fractures.However,previous studies have found that interwell communication through natural fractures is varied,and non-communication also appears in the mid and late stages of production due to natural fracture closure.This study proposes a boundary element method for coupling multi-connected regions for the first time.Using this method,we coupled multiple flow fields to establish dual-well models with various connectivity conditions of the stimulated reservoir volume(SRV)region.These models also take into consideration of adsorption and desorption mechanism of natural gas as well as the impact of fracturing fluid retention.The study found that when considering the non-communication of SRV regions between multi-well horizontal pads,the transient behavior of the targeted well exhibits a transitional flow stage occurring before the well interference flow stage.In addition,sensitivity analysis shows that the well spacing and production regime,as well as the connectivity conditions of the SRV region,affect the timing of interwell interference.Meanwhile,the productivity of the two wells,reservoir properties,and fracturing operations affect the intensity of interwell interference. 展开更多

Based on Kirchhoff plate theory and the Rayleigh-Ritz method,the model for free vibration of rectangular plate with rectangular cutouts under arbitrary elastic boundary conditions is established by using the improved Fourier series in combination with the independent coordinate coupling method(ICCM).The effect of the cutout is taken into account by subtracting the energies of the cutouts from the total energies of the whole plate.The vibration displacement function of the hole domain is based on the coordinate system of the hole domain in this method.From the continuity condition of the vibration displacement function at the cutout,the transition matrix between the two coordinate systems is constructed,and the mass and stiffness matrices are completely obtained.As a result,the calculation is simplified and the computational efficiency of the solution is improved.In this paper,numerical examples and modal experiments are presented to validate the effectiveness of the modeling methods,and parameters related to influencing factors of the rectangular plate are analyzed to study the vibration characteristics. 展开更多

地震动输入是大坝抗震安全分析的基础,然而目前地震动输入尚未合理考虑河谷散射效应对大坝动力响应的影响。将河谷场地总运动场分解为平坦半空间自由场和河谷散射场分别求解,采用间接边界积分方程法求解河谷场地散射场,将其与平坦半空... 地震动输入是大坝抗震安全分析的基础,然而目前地震动输入尚未合理考虑河谷散射效应对大坝动力响应的影响。将河谷场地总运动场分解为平坦半空间自由场和河谷散射场分别求解,采用间接边界积分方程法求解河谷场地散射场,将其与平坦半空间自由场叠加获得河谷场地总运动场(地震动场),通过封闭解验证了间接边界积分方程法的精度。进而,采用有限元法模拟河谷场地内部,同时将河谷地基截断边界处总运动场转换为等效地震输入荷载,建立了总运动场结合黏弹性人工边界的波动输入方法。应用基于有限元法-间接边界积分方程法建立地震波动输入方法,数值求解了梯形河谷场地地震动场,分析了自由场波动输入和总运动场波动输入下河谷动力响应的差异。结果表明:自由场波动输入下河谷关键位置位移峰值、波形与精确解存在较大偏差,水平和竖向位移最大误差分别达15.6%、29.3%;总运动场波动输入下位移峰值、波形与精确解拟合良好。该研究建立的波动输入方法计算精度高,合理考虑了河谷散射效应,为更准确地预测河谷上大坝动力响应提供了基础。 展开更多

Accurately approximating higher order derivatives is an inherently difficult problem. It is shown that a random variable shape parameter strategy can improve the accuracy of approximating higher order derivatives with Radial Basis Function methods. The method is used to solve fourth order boundary value problems. The use and location of ghost points are examined in order to enforce the extra boundary conditions that are necessary to make a fourth-order problem well posed. The use of ghost points versus solving an overdetermined linear system via least squares is studied. For a general fourth-order boundary value problem, the recommended approach is to either use one of two novel sets of ghost centers introduced here or else to use a least squares approach. When using either ghost centers or least squares, the random variable shape parameter strategy results in significantly better accuracy than when a constant shape parameter is used. 展开更多

Further, considerin... The boundary dement method was improved for the 2D elastic composites with randomly distributed inclusions. This problem can be reduced to a boundary integral equation for a multi-connected domain. Further, considering the matrices of the tractions and displacements for each group of the identical inclusion were the same, an effective computational scheme was designed, since the orders of the resulting matrix equations can be greatly reduced. Numerical examples indicate that this boundary element method scheme is more effective than the conventional multi-domain boundary element method for such a problem. The present scheme can be used to investigate the effective mechanical properties of the fiber-reinforced composites. 展开更多

针对镇域尺度甘肃文县城关镇山体-沉积河谷三维地震动模拟问题,利用边界元法求解无限域弹性波动问题时降维和自动满足弹性波无限远辐射的优势,将间接边界元法拓展到城关镇山间河谷场地三维地震动模拟。根据钻孔资料及高精度地形数据建... 针对镇域尺度甘肃文县城关镇山体-沉积河谷三维地震动模拟问题,利用边界元法求解无限域弹性波动问题时降维和自动满足弹性波无限远辐射的优势,将间接边界元法拓展到城关镇山间河谷场地三维地震动模拟。根据钻孔资料及高精度地形数据建立三维精细化模型,以平面P波和SV波作为输入,在频域内分析了城关镇山间河谷地形对地震动的放大效应。为提高计算效率,在计算耗时严重的散射波场构造和虚拟荷载求解部分采用OpenMP(Open Multi-Processing)并行编程,并通过与半解析解对比验证了方法的准确性。城关镇的模拟结果表明:(1)沉积河谷和山体均会放大地震动,但沉积河谷的放大效应更为明显,在P波入射下,沉积河谷和山体观测点的位移放大系数(地震动位移与入射波位移幅值的比值)最大值分别为19.64和3.66,SV波入射下则为14.13和3.48;(2)两侧山体对地震波的反射会加剧山间河谷的边缘效应,河谷边缘的地震动放大系数最大可达19.64;(3)沉积河谷地震动的空间分布随频率变化明显,随着频率的升高,强震区从河谷中心逐渐往边缘转变。研究可为此类场地的地震区划和抗震设防提供一定参考。 展开更多
